  My laptop (HP Pavilion G6, PN: QG846EAR #ABU) with Windows 7 Home Edition is to have through its WiFi connectivity problems. The WiFi hardware is recognized as "Broadcom 4313GN 1 x 1 adapter Wi - Fi 802.11b/g/n" by the Manager of devices but it cannot detect all autour WiFi signals. I tried deactivating and activating it by FN - F12. This action works, but does not affect the situation. Initially it was the driver version 5.100.82.82 as of the 20.05.2011.

  I found two new updated driver from Broadcom and HP sites, but none worked. (ver: 5.100.82.95 - date: 1.4.09 and worm: 5.100.82.139 - date8.5.2012)

  I restored default Windows 7 Home but this does not work either.

  I started with Fedora and Knoppix live CD but none managed to see any signal, even if the two detected the correct WiFi hardware.

  I have checked and then changed the values in the BIOS by default, but this did not help.

  When a WiFi USB is plugged in, the PC works fine.

  Under the battery, the WiFi device is referred to as "bcm94313hmgb".

  Thus, one of the sons is not connected?  It's probably the cause of your problem.  Take a look at your notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide.  Specifically, look at page 54, which deals with the removal of the WLAN card.  He says that there should be two wires to disconnect (main and auxiliary antennas).

  I can't say very much in the picture, but it seems that you should be able to reconnect the loose wire.  I suggest this thread connected and if this does not resolve the issue I would then contact HP support.

  Encryption: TKIP

  The key renewal: 3600 seconds

  However, when I get my wireless network and try to connect by typing in 0sunspot0, I get an authentication failure.

  Save all your settings, so you can restore them after a reset.  Remove the password completely and try to connect without password.  If successful, go back and add WPA2-AES with a new password without special characters.   No test.  If no joy, hard, reset the router and restore it from your back upward and try again.

• WiFi intermittent problem. Win 10 think it is connected when there is no Internet.

  WiFi intermittent problem.  I have a 2 month old Dell Inspiron 15 5559 with dual band Wireless AC 3160 adapter Intel.  I connect via WiFi, start Pandora with Chrome and everything works very well for a few hours.  I monitor the status of the WiFi and noticed that when the speedometer drops to simple numbers temporarily, then resumed at 50 Mbps or more a second or two later, my browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge) no longer work even if icons indicate "connected, secure" and LAN activity continues.  Pandora and all other browser activities cease until I have disconnect and reconnect.  The router, I had this problem with that is a TP-Link wireless-N that works perfectly with other computers, but I purchased & installed a D604 of D-Link router wireless AC to see if this can solve the problem.  It has exactly the same problem on both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.  Device Manager displays an Intel driver version 18.11.0.8 dated dated 22/06/2015 apparently normal and no! or? any where in the list of devices.

  So the obvious conclusion is that when the power of the signal is temporarily less than 10 Mbps for a second or two, then returns to the top 10 Windows thinks there is a good WiFi connection when it is not.  Disconnect and reconnect always solve the problem, but it's an obvious bug, and it's a pain.

  I'm glad that you finally got this driver to install.  Microsoft has done a lot with Windows 10 trying to reduce the energy consumption on laptops.   In some ways, that has caused some problems with the wireless, making cards more susceptible to interference.   I hope that this driver will clear up many of the conflicts and problems that you see.

  Try to remove Acrobat DC with the tool from here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning - Adobe Labs tool , restart the computer and reinstall Acrobat Pro DC.

  Needles to say I like thousand others with MacBook wifi problems here. I went to the apple store they did not, they did the same worse(geniuses my ***). Now I don't have wifi at all.

  Summary:

  -updated yosemite10.08

  -After that, no hardware detected. (so I got to the apple store)

  -Now, I can't even select wifi (in gray)

  -They keep telling me it's a hardware problem, but this morning I could go on wifi with safe mode.

  what I've done so far:

  SMC - Reset

  -Reset PRAM.

  -safe mode

  So far, not good.

  I tried to do a recovery mode, but because I can not log into the App Store, I can't go any further. I can connect to iTunes iMessage, FaceTime except AppStore.

  Is that what someone has solved this problem, I would be so happy,.

  Or someone recommend to buy a dongle until this problem is solved by apple?

• Satellite L350 - WIFI connection problems when it is plugged in to recharge.

  I have a problem with my laptop - whenever I have it plug in to recharge after 10 minutes my Wifi connection goes down, it can detect my wifi network but cannot connect. However when my laptop not charging it remains connected until the battery goes down. I can not think of all the solutions and can't find answers on the internet. I am sure that this isn't my wifi network that is the problem as I have said, it connects and remains connected to each time when no charging current.

  Welcome to the HP Forums! I see that you have problems to connect to a particular network. I'll be happy to help you. In General, when this happens there is a problem with the network itself because the laptop runs normally with the other network.

  When you are connected to the network trial Coaching run the built-in Windows troubleshooting tool to see if it detects a problem. This document from HP, wireless network and Internet troubleshooting will show you how to do this.

  I would say the power cycling your modem and router, I have included the following steps:

  Network power cycle:

  1. turn off your laptop.
  2. unplug the power to your router.
  3. disconnect the power to your modem.
  4. wait at least 45 seconds.
  5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
  6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
  7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

  If nothing else works, then I suggest that you contact your internet service provider because the router or the modem would need a firmware update or a later version.

  My apologies if this has been requested and replied, but did someone aware of the problem of re-detection coverage with an OS 5.0 on a 9700 after deactivation and reactivation of the radio?  One of my test users has reported that, after re-rockers radio after testing features offline from the application of the app continues to tell them that they have no insurance.

  I think I found the problem for me, although yours was obviously different Adama.  Mine was I guess as a result of negligence on my part (the shame of it!) that because I couldn't reproduce the problem I can't swear to that.

  I had a vague sense that my problem could be linked to the pesky network threads hang and delay at inopportune moments.  Peut-related I also noticed that when receiving recently pushes then deactivation and reactivation of the network that had always significantly more time to get connectivity in the backup application.  Also I had no problem but my other user as described above fact.  I was a little sloppy while taking care of network controller object references, but when I changed to the model that the application is still running and will just in the background, it came back to bite me, for obvious reasons.  Once I went back through and ensured I remove reminders and removing the objects etc the problem about the user not having no network not detected during the reactivation of their radio all went.

  Provide some additional details may be relevant to the problem.  There are several models of iMac G5.  Here is a list of all iMac models.  What model do you have?

  Also, what version of Mac OS X turns?  You can select about this Mac from the Apple menu to get information about your system.

  You do not need an Apple Airport access point.  But your router's wireless settings a difference.  For example, the last iMac G5 model (from 2005) has only 802.11b and g wireless, not of 802.11n (unless you use a third-party add-on).  Make sure your wireless router is not set to 802.11n only.

  Like test, place the iMac that is close enough to your router so that you can connect using an Ethernet cable.  Do you have an Internet connection?  If so, select software update from the Apple menu to confirm that you are running the latest version of the system possible for your version of Mac OS X.  If there is an update, try the connection Wireless again after the update.
