WiFi is randomly

Just got an iPad Pro. However the continuous Wifi declining and often will not return without airplane Mode and back.

This happens in multiple locations and do not have the iPhone or other Apple devices on the same network. It is very annoying. After you run diagnostics on devices, he returns with all tests - and that's it? Try even once of course and there is no connection!

Take a look at this Apple Support article:

    Hey @John166,

I understand that you have a problem with the WiFi on your HP laptop. I will do my best to help you, but first, I wanted to thank you for joining the Forums of HP Support. Here is a list of steps that solve common problems with wireless connectivity.

First of all, we have a step by step guide to guide you through the process of diagnosis here:
Troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet access

A second option is to try the following steps:
    Powercycle the network:
    1. turn off your laptop.
    2. unplug the power to your router.
    3. disconnect the power to your modem.
    4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
    7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:
    1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
    2. expand the network adapters.
    3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
    4. click on the power management tab.
5 remove the check mark next to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
    6. click on OK.
    7 test cycle.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" without the quotes and press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

It can also help to reset the winsock catalog:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes, and then press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

    Reinstall the NIC drivers:
    1. download the drivers from here , but do not run them again.
    2. go to your Start menu/screen and type Device Manager.
    3. expand network adapters.
    4. right click on the wireless adapter and choose uninstall.
5 install the drivers downloaded in step 1.
    6. restart your PC and test.

    Test an ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

    Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, try this document published by Microsoft for network management issues: wired and wireless network problems. You can change the operating system with the drop down in the upper right of the document.

  • The time on my Ipod will not change when its coastline, Wifi disconnects randomly, screen goes green and red and restart full iPod.

OK so this problem started about two days ago. I noticed that my time was off so I went to settings > General > Date and time. I changed the hour correctly but when I locked it and got out of her for a few minutes, it was always the same when I changed it. For example: this morning, back at the exact time that was at 10:41 20 minutes later, I changed my time and it was still stuck at 10:41 time will work properly if I am constantly on my IPod and do not block. I really need to use the alarm when I wake up every morning! I've tried everything to fix it, but nothing seems to work. Reset my IPod do not even help.

This issue has also started two days ago. I noticed that the wifi on my IPod touch 5th generation cut off while an application is open, but when I close it then connects back. It is only on my IPod, but not my IPad. It's pretty boring. I also tried to reset my router but it always disconnects.

The latest happened just yesterday. Again, I've tried my time is correctly set when all of a sudden half top of my screen turns red and turns green half lower. The screen then goes to black and my entire iPod restarts.

Thank you very much for the help. :-)

  • Random wifi disconnects on newly purchased HP Envy Dv6 windows 8

Just bought a laptop (HP Envy dv6) and WiFi disconnects randomly while browsing online with Google chrome. Working very well so that it disconnects randomly, but almost always when I opened multiple Web sites at once (usually about 4-5 pages). The modem/router disconnects and connects to the top of the inside of 5 to 10 seconds. Wired connection works very well on my desktop running windows 7.  Any help would be gladly appreciated.

This happens to you to other devices connected to the wifi? If not its probably your router, you can buy a new see if that helps or swich for cable.

  • WiFi, stall after iOS 10

MY wifi is randomly after cutting 10 upgraded ios.  Anyone elese?

Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom.

    (1) restart you device. If a normal restart does not help, hold down these keys at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears: a) the sleep/wake button and the low Volume button (7 iPhone iPhone 7 and more) or b) the sleep/wake button and the Home button (all other models)

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth). Channels 1, 6 or 11 are recommended for 2.4 band.

    (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available. Also turn off all apps to VPN and retest the Wi - Fi.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) backup and restore the device using iTunes. Try to restore as New first and test it. If ok try to restore the backup (the backup may be corrupted).

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201252

    (9) go to the Apple store for the evaluation of the material. The Wi - Fi chip or the antenna could be faulty.

  • nMpro: Wifi will go off. Bad chips?

You just bought a refurbed Pro (6 cores, D300s, Yosemite) nMac and Wifi stops randomly (once a week for the last two weeks) and will not respond to efforts to turn it back on. Restarting temporarily solves the problem. I have the warranty and I'll probably have repair once we are done using it for video work, but I just wanted to know that if anyone else had problems with Wifi chips to these models? Is there a software patch?

    Maybe corrupt network preferences...

    Open the Finder.

In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

Then type or copy paste the following text:

    / Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

Click OK, and then move all the SystemConfiguraton files folder to the trash.

Restart the Mac and monitor a Wi - Fi connection.

Your Mac will generate a new SystemConfiguration folder for you.

  • can not find correct for wifi dropouts 'limited access '.

I have an Acer Aspire V5-571P-6642, windows 8, just bought.  I can't figure out how to get wifi stop randomly say 'limited access '?

It happens a few times per hour, suddenly a page won't load no and if I wait long enough the wifi will say "restricted access".  If I turn off the wifi and back, the problem is solved in about 15 seconds, but its annoying in the middle of a video or work on homework enough.

I tried everything I could find in searches... updating drivers, changing the settings to save energy, nothing worked.

This is certainly the computer.  This happens on any wifi connection, anywhere, and my phone still works when the laptop shuts down.

Any ideas?  It seems to me (not being not much a computer scientist, most of what I read) it might be a problem with drivers?  As I said, reinstalled and updated but maybe that's always the problem?  I do not know. Thank you.

PS It happened while I was typing, deleting the part of what I wrote, highlighting my frustration with a machine brand new $800 having failed to perform a fairly simple task.

10.0.0.217 has not worked for me, I met just this idea in the thread I linked below (don't know how I've seen this in my hours of research before)

"I had the same problem. Go to their support page, download driver wireless for windows 7 (64-bit if your system is 64-bit) and not for windows 8. It worked for me. I think that there is a problem with the driver wireless for Windows 8. »

I did, and he has worked for 40 minutes now, which is longer in general, it has been for me.  May be worth a try, I'll repost if it proves to be a dud.

    http://community.Acer.com/T5/Acer-notebooks-netbooks/my-Acer-Aspire-V5-touch-screen-has-a-WiFi-Probl...

EDIT: Your model may have more choices, I use 10.0.0.42.  I have been online for a while now and that you have not had a single problem, so maybe it's a good solution until there is a new driver.

  • Problems with WIFI after sleep-wake up.

-Wifi does not randomly after coming out of sleep.
-Sometimes it can see the network with at least 2-3 bars, but does not connect and the Troubleshooting Wizard offers no help.
-wifi only way to recover is to uninstall the wifi adapter driver in Device Manager and then reinstall it, and then it works fine.
-This problem only occurs when I am a little close to the edge (still a lot within wifi range) of the router. otherwise, IE very close to router, there is no problem at all.
n ' has not had any problems with windows 7 at first, but wifi problems randomly started upward. uninstalled the 2-3 most recent programs with Revo Uninstaller.

    Hey art vandelay.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers community.

I suggest you try the methods one by one and check below.

Method 1:  Uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option in Device Manager and check.

1: click on start, go to control panel. In Control Panel, click small icons to DISPLAY.
2: find the network and sharing Center and open it.
3: on the left side, you will see an option that says "change the map settings. Open it
4: you'll be there, two local and wireless connections. Right-click on WIRELESS one, and then select Properties.
    5: now, click on CONFIGURE.
6: you will see 5 tabs, click on the last one that says "power management."
7: now simply UNCHECK the first box that says "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

Method 2: Perform the cycle of power modem/router.

    (1) turn off the power to the modem (unplug). If there is the router turn off the power (unplug).
    (2) unplug the Ethernet cable that connects the modem to the back of the computer or router on the back of the computer. Disconnect at the end of the computer. If there is a router, follow the same steps, disconnect at the end of the computer.
    (3) shuts down the computer (not restart).
    (4) wait at least 4 minutes.
    (5) switch on the modem. If there is a router enable the router as well. Wait for the lights on the modem\router to stabilize.
    (6) connect the Ethernet cable to the computer.
    (7) turn on the computer. Now, try to connect to the internet.

Method 3: The restore of the system on your computer.

System Restore will take your computer state permeable when it did not face such a problem, this can be done by selecting the correct restore point.

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
    4. click on finish.

My daughter just lost her iPhone 5 s, for which she has activated locking using footprint.  Using find my iPhone, we have seen that his phone is not connected to the Internet (we travel outside the country of origin). Here's a possible scenario:

One person recovered the lost iPhone.  Obviously, this person doesn't have access to his fingerprint stored on the iPhone.  But when you try to unlock the iPhone, this screen will appear, looking for password of the iPhone:

From there, the person clicks on "Emergency" (circled above).

If your wife's iPhone is classified among the emergency numbers (in the application of health), then it would be possible to call it from the iPhone.
