  Password sharing is turned on.

  Password sharing is enabled by default for computers of working groups. When password sharing is enabled, people using other computers on your network cannot access your shared folders or printers unless they have a user account on your computer. There are two ways to enable file or printer sharing:

  Turn off password protected sharing. To turn off password protected sharing, follow these steps:

  Looks like you are trying to use a (alphanumeric) redemption code where you are supposed to use a serial number (strictly digital).  A purchase is normally used to purchase a serial number... serial number is what you enter to activate the software.

  Your old Toshiba equipped with an adapter wireless which is likely to be used for Wireless-a, b, wireless and wireless-g (the project).   Your employer has a newer version (not the last and larger, but much more recent than your equipment) router Linksys that is capable of wireless-b, wireless-g and wireless - n.

  Your most likely problem is that your employer has set up his router to "N-only.  Wireless n uses the same radio frequency as wireless-g (this is why detect you the "excellent" signal strength), but uses a different protocol (this is why you can't connect).

  Politely ask your employer to change the mode 'network' from the back of the default router of "mixed".

  Method 1: Try to access the site in compatibility mode and check.

  (a) open Internet Explorer in view of the office.

  (b) click on Tools, internet options , then compatibility view.

  Method 2: Disable GPU rendering.

  (a) open Internet Explorer in view of the office.

  (b) click on Tools, internet options , then Advanced tab.

  (c) under Accelerated graphics , uncheck the option made software use instead of GPU rendering.

  (d) click on apply and ok.

  Method 3: Clear the data cache in Internet Explorer.

  A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... and download Adobe Reader 11.0 installation base.

  Then download each individual updates and run them sequentially.

  I installed back to the last update of security which is version 08 and were able to register under normal operations.

  You will need to disable the automatic updates to keep up with the 08 version, until Adobe fixes this problem in a future release.

  I solved my problem... and this is the solution...

  * Open regedit (start-search-regedit)
  Open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - SYSTEM - CurrentControlSet - services,
  Scroll down and open Ndisuio (double click). Open the "Start" key and change the value to low - 1. If the default 4 changes to 3, and the default value is 3 change to 2...
  * Close regedit and restart...

• WiFi unstable with Satellite A665-11Z

  Hi all
  I have a 11Z A665 - and after trying to connect to the internet for the first time, but the connection is very unstable and it is very slow when he manages to connect through the wireless network.

  It basically detects networks around me, and when you click on one you want to connect, it will try to make the connect action but it will say Windows cannot connect to this network. After fiddling around and he finally manages to connect, but the connection is very very slow. I know that my wireless access provider is very good as it works perfectly well on 3 other computer systems.

  I tried to do a complete restore of the system, update the driver from Broadcom wireless LAN adapter (but windows says that the driver I m using is uptodate) and ensured that the Bluetooth is disabled when it does not work (like I know it causes interference). I also changed the settings on the power management to change to high performance but it still doesn t the problem solving.

  I really Don t want to give if I can fix it myself. Can anyone offer any advice or guidance on what I can try?

  What type of WLAN connection use you (B/G/N)?
  Have you tried to reboot your router?
  A installed your latest firmware of the router?

  All 3 other systems use absolutely the same standard WLAN?
  Have you tested the WLAN connectivity on some other router?
