  • Lack of ZTE A2109 Wifi sleep policy

    Hello people!

Anyone know how to access the standby policy on ZTE A2109 wifi? Generally, it should be included in the advanced settings, but the option does not appear in my tablet. I searched my smartphone (Xperia S with stock ICS) option and the option is available.

The thing is that I use CIFS to access my library of media stored in a NAS in my network manager domestic, so I play the sound on my tablet. But when the tablet screen turns off wifi, abandon the connection to my NAS and cut the flow of data. If I wake up, restores the tablet to login again and the audio stream continues.

I'm under ICS 4.0.4 with ClockworkMod Recovery. I also tried to force the wifi to stay awake with third party such as wifi awake applications, but none of them worked.

    Thanks for the help!

Guess it's a matter of PowerAmp. Yesterday, I updated to MCL201 (BTW, thanks for this mcl630) and I have questions then as streaming audio of my SIN. Wifi sleep policy is finally available and even during installation to be always on the cuts audio when the screen turns off. Guess it of a bug of PowerAmp or has something to do with the frequency of the clock of the Tablet when he sleeps.

  • X 240, fingerprint reader not working after sleep or lockscreen

    Hi all

I have a new X 240, and the fingerprint logon no longer works when the computer comes out of standby or a lockscreen (screen saver). I checked other solutions here and on other sites, namely:

1 uncheck the option of the power of the drive in the Device Manager, fp

2 and waiting for 30 days of switching within the parameters of Lenovo

None of these solutions have worked. I have the latest version of BIOS and FP driver. I did ensure that the public Service has been enabled in the BIOS, and I even changed the settings to only allow internal reader to FP. Yet, the public Service will work when I first power on the laptop, but not after the stand-by recovery. I checked in Device Manager after you manually enter the password, and it is said that the PC is up and running.

I am at a loss, and I want to exhaust all possibilities before calling tech support. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    Fixed.

I usually use system update to check for new versions of software from Lenovo. Don't take SU that he had a new version of the reader of the public Service. Just to be sure, I checked on the Lenovo Web site and now there is a newer version of the player FP. I had to download and manually uninstall the previous version. He is fine now. However, I do not understand why Lenovo-why doesn't SU hang updates? It is not the first time this happens, moreover, neither is it limited to this laptop (I own or have owned a T60, X 61, X 200, X 201, X 230, T410 and now the X 240).

In any case, the public Service works correctly now. I hope this helps someone else.

is there an option to stay connected to the wifi mode 'sleep'?

Not in OS X. You can search for a third-party utility to help you, but I don't remember any. A WiFi sleeps in order to preserve the battery life because the WiFi consumes a lot of battery if left running when not used.

  • Iconia 10 b3 - A20 waking after the deep sleep without rebooting

I answered a few questions so now I'm going to ask to my .

I had a problem with my B3 - A20 Iconia Tablet since I got it: it won't wake up if he has been asleep for more than a few minutes, unless I have hold down the power button and it reboot.

Here's what I've tried so far:

    -A factory reset

-Installation of all Liveupdates of Acer.

-Run the Nova launcher instead of Acer home (this was done to get rid of that screen with the left hand, but I thought I would mention it)

    -EZ toggling reactivation

    -Toggling Acer Liveupdate

-Configuration wifi sleep mode to "always." (This suggestion was made for the same problem in android 3.1, I understood what the heck)

If someone has had this problem, and is there a solution? I'm pretty tech savvy (I build PCs as a hobby!), and I'm happy to install firmware etc if necessary.

Eh, I still did and solved my problem: /. I'll save it here so that others have the solution.

After some intensive research (i.e. googling stuff), I discovered that refusing to wake can be caused by an application hangs the system to wake up. After reviewing the various applications, I found that it was google cloud print and the Acer Smartcoverapp causing difficulties. Because I do not want to use Cloud print (applications published by the printer manufacturers are fast and efficient), and I do not have a smart cover, I have disabled both and now he wakes up instantly to sleep.

Here's how to disable an application:

-Go to settings, then choose "apps".

-Slide the screen on the side until you reach the tab 'All' scroll down to find the app you want to disable.

-Press on the name of the application

-This will bring up a screen with two large buttons to the top: "force stop" and "disable". Depending on the application, there may be a third which reads "uninstall upgrades". If the 'disable' button is grayed out, it is a system application and cannot be deleted.

-Click 'disable '. Depending on the application, you may be asked if you want to uninstall updates. Click Yes.

    -Fact!

    How to activate an application:

Just in case you disabled something and then have need in the future, you can reactivate again:

-Go to settings, then choose "apps".

-Slide the screen on the side until you reach the ' disabled tab scroll down to find the app you want to activate.

-Press on the name of the application.

-This will bring up a screen with a button that says 'enable '. Click on it.

-Fact! But don't forget to update the application to the latest version! If you do not have faffed all your settings, this happens automatically. Otherwise, go to the reading of Google, click on the three lines at the top of the home screen and choose 'my applications' - you can update the things from there.

    Hope this article is useful.

  • Activate the night mode shift

    Hello world

Is it possible to get the night shift enabled mode low power?

I do not understand why Apple did it, cause I don't think not that night shift uses a lot of battery.

And it's very annoying getting the white screen again when you activate the mode for low-power in the middle of the night.

There is something to do: activate the low power mode and ask Siri to the night shift.

Of course, I don't want to shout "HEY SIRI!" while my wife sleeps next to me.

Sorry if my English is a bit odd, I'm french.

    Thank you

I tested and it doesn't seem to be possible to have the night shift active in Low Power mode. Low power mode cancels simply night shift.

If it's important, I'm in iOS beta and race 10.1

    Hey pontais,

Thanks for you using Apple support communities. I can see from your post that you are having problems with a Wi - Fi disconnection when your iPhone 6 is not in use while running iOS 10 beta. The public version of iOS 10 was released with the latest version being 10.0.2. To isolate and help solve this problem, we want to go forward and you updated to the release version with the procedure described in this link below:

    Any software beta iOS

Download the final version of iOS

If you have a beta version of iOS and you want to download the final version, follow these steps:

    1. Connect your device to iTunes.
    2. When your device is connected, force it to restart. Press and hold buttons sleep/wake and Home at the same time. Don't release when you see the Apple logo. Keep now until you see the Recovery Mode screen.
    3. When asked, choose updates to download and install the latest version of iOS nonbeta.
An update installation does not affect your settings or content.

Once you have downloaded the final version, monitor your Wi - Fi again and let us know if you experience the same problem.

    See you soon.

  • Problem getting my WiFi connection after the mode 'sleep'

After my computer wakes from sleep mode, I click on my WiFi network every time to get on the internet.  If I restart my computer, it detects my WiFi network and connects ok.  It's just at the time when it wakes from sleep.  I tried many solutions that people have posted for example to remove some files from my SystemConfig., but have had no luck.

    Hi joycefromil,

I understand that your Mac has problems automatically re-login to a Wi - Fi saved after wake up from its sleep. I can understand the concern here; It seems that it would be a bit tedious to have to re - connect manually whenever you wake your Mac from sleep. I'm happy to help you with this problem.

As a first step, try to remove your Wi - Fi network in the preferred networks list and then add again using the steps here:

macOS Sierra: choose the preferred Wi - Fi networks

Try to test for the problem to see if it persists. If so, I recommend that you try to start your Mac in safe mode and test for the issue. Once you're done test in safe mode, restart your machine normally and try test again to see if the problem has been resolved.

If the problem persists in safe mode, try to create a test on your Mac user account to see if the problem is here. This will help to further isolate the issue. Take a look at this Web site for more information:

  • WiFi disconnects when sleeping

It seems that the problem that Apple had with Lion is back.  Whenever I put the Mac (now ongoing Sierra to sleep, when I wake up I have to reconnect to the wi - fi connection.)

Another feature of the program without papers?  If so, when is it fixed?

You must update the Wi - Fi preferences. Simply remove those that you have now. Click on any empty space on the desktop, and then press command + SHIFT + G. Now enter this directory: / Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration /

In the open folder, delete these files:

    com Apple.Airport.Preferences.plist
    com.Apple.Network.identification.plist
    com Apple.WiFi.message - draw .plist
    NetworkInterfaces.plist
    Preferences.plist

After these files are gone, restart your Mac, as well as your Wi - Fi router.

When I turn on my Apple TV 4 is not to connect to any wifi NET. If I search for it, it does not appear. However if I take the Apple TV, it is already connected. It's a little bother doing this several times...

I'm afraid that there are already several discussions on this problem. Search for 'sleep' and 'network' or 'WiFi '. But it doesn't seem to be a solution. It seems to have started with tvOS 9.2, which I assume you have. Please report it to Apple to the https://www.apple.com/feedback/appletv.html . We hope it will be fixed with an update tvOS.
