WiFi turns OFF

How many people have an iPad 2 air that has a wifi that turns off itself? Not disconnected, but literally the wifi switch must be off by itself?

Apple does not seem to acknowledge this problem as a known problem. They advise to check routers, reinstall your iOS, etc, but I've seen enough forums with users that describes exactly what I saw. The Wifi in the settings switch turns OFF by itself. Some users have reported that if this happens, put iPad in airplane mode and the wifi goes on. Now how weird is that? Except that... it works!

Apple has been kind enough completely exchanging my three month old iPad, as I had lots of help online with Apple in the record. I won the new iPad and within two days, he was doing the same thing.

And the thing about airplane mode turn on wifi back without touching the wifi settings. It's much too much of a coincidence for me... A second new device with a facility completely fresh iOS does the same thing, the same thing that many users report online and same setting change apparently independent (airplane mode do wifi works;) Airplane mode is to stop wireless features!) fix it... temporarily btw.

It seems obvious that an iOS glitch is behind it, or a hardware problem and Apple and the forums that follow (influence?) Apple needs to recognize that.

An iPad that turns off wifi sort of defeats the purpose of a tablet device. PS cell phone users: if cell is lit when this happens, you start to use data like crazy if you are at home and unsuspecting, you are in streaming and download and NOT connected to wifi. Beware! Now, I resort to disable cellular data to avoid involuntary consumption of data at home.

Apple can you please aggregate all problems of this nature and get it into the hands of tech support. Again, this is all getting kicked out of a network; It's literally the cursor goes Wifi in settings without the user from doing anything that invites you to the OFF position.

Apple is probably not reading this... But I typing this on an iPad 2 Air wifi & model cell phone, and I've never seen this problem. That being said, I usually mode aircraft and Wifi enabled, in order to avoid the accidental use of cellular data.

    It is not a problem. This is a design feature which is present in all iPhones and all versions of iOS for 9 years. WiFi turns off 30 seconds after the phone goes to sleep to save battery life. If you want to keep it you must connect the phone to the power.

    I have a R400, model 7440DK5 who served me very well on almost 3 years at this point. However in the last month or so he had a very specific problem: wifi turns off when the laptop gets a physical stimulus, for example if I pick it up and move it to another table.     Could be simply oxidation. Remove the card and it resettlement in the slot just maybe. It happens over time in some connections and varies with the metal used in the connections/connectors of the slot.

    Turn off the wireless directly on Color LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw should have disabled the SSID broadcast. Since the display before disabling has not resolved, try the built-in webserver (EWS).

    To access the built-in Web server, you will need to enter the IP address for the M251nw in the address bar of your web browser. The IP address may be collected by touching the Setup program () > reports > Network Summary.

    Once in the SAP, click on network > wireless direct configuration > select and apply.

    Well well, weird.

    After that the recent windows update, the problem has been resolved. Don't know why, but I have no more problems with the Wifi. Interesting.

    My WiFi settings are checked for WiFi never sleep; However, when my screen is off and the phone is in standby mode, after a short time the WiFi disconnects.     Nope.  AirPlay requires wifi which disconnects the data on the phone.

    You can renounce the ATV and buy a lightning HDMI adapter and use a wired installation.

    Yes, this is a default setting in the BIOS.

    You must go into the BIOS menu, menu of sub device advanced configuration and disable the LAN WLAN switch setting.

    My daughter just got a Palm TX away two days ago.  I have 2 questions - we have plugged and loaded as described in the manual, but no matter what I do, it does not start when it is disconnected from the mains (first edition).  When you are connected to the wall, the unit seems to work correctly except for the WiFi, which causes the device to stop trying to autheticate on my network ((deuxieme question).  The only way I can get the unit to turn on once it has closed is with a soft reset while being plugged into the wall.  Once I have unplug the power cord, the device stops and does not start at all with a soft/hard reset either by the power button.  I did a full hard reset last night and let it charge again for 3 hours plugged into a different plug, but I still have the same issues.  Is there a fix or the update available that solves these problems?  Is my daughter S.O.L. because the device is obsolete and is no longer officially supported by Palm/HP?  Any help or idea would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    The TX debuted in 2005.  Your looks to the battery is dead for a long time and has other problems as well (Wifi kill him).
