Acrobat PDF Maker Server could not be loaded

You want to run the installer in repair mode?

I tried following the instructions to run the installer in repair mode, but it did not help.

It's Office 2010 installed locally. I'm not a PC so I can't check the exact version of Acrobat, except to say that it is a newly installed domain controller Acrobat.

However, we have solved the problem to our satisfaction.

The problem was with conversion/recording with the builtin pdf Converter in Word Help.

Conversion using the addin Acrobat worked.

You try to send a 42 MB file, your server only allows you to send 31 megabytes and beneficiaries are limited to 10 megabytes.  Try using Irfanview (www.irfanview.com - free) and you can resize them and save as jpg files and they will be 100 X smaller.  Otherwise, send them 1 by 1.

To resize them you can specify an image to about 640 x 480 pixels (or the beach), and that will keep the size appropriate for the email.

    components,

Msdtcstp.dll Setup library could not be loaded, or function OcEntry could not be found.

Contact your system administrator. The specific error code is 0x7e.

Using Add/Remove programs and Add/Remove Windows components, you see this message:
Msdtcstp.dll library installation could not be loaded, the function that ocentry could not be found.
Contact your system administrator.  The specific error code is 0x7e.
Msdtcstp.dll file is missing or damaged, your system path variable is incorrect, or your system is afflicted with malicious software (or all of the above).
Using Windows Explorer, navigate and see if the file is present.
Msdtcstp.dll file must be in this folder:
    c:\windows\system32\setup
Since this is one of the 3498 files which is covered by the Windows File Protection, if ever it has been installed and works, it must never be 'disappeared' unless something is wrong, but you can just go ahead and replace it with a known good copy and then work on potential problems.
You can search your system to get copies of msdtcstp.dll and copy to the appropriate folder to replace the missing or suspicious file.  You must replace the file if it is missing, or overwrite the file afflicted, if it's suspicious.
There should be a copy msdtcstp.dll file in this folder:
    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
Just copy c:\windows\system32\dllcache\msdtcstp.dll and paste it into the c:\windows\system32\setup folder to replace.
Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file.
    Test your system now.
If you can not find the file and have a bootable installation CD authentic XP installed and that the CD-ROM is drive X, expand the file from the CD-ROM i386 folder in your c:\windows\system32\setup folder by entering this command from a command prompt window:
    Expand x:\i386\msdtcstp.dl_ c:\windows\system32\setup\msdtcstp.dll
Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file and then you should see a message that 1 file (s) has been expanded.
    Test your system now.

    Hi DadVQ,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

This problem occurs because of a missing or corrupted Rundll32.exe file. This problem can also be caused by a virus.

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: Follow the steps mentioned in the article below and check if the problem still persists.

Cannot find the Rundll32.exe file when you open Control Panel

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/812340

Method 2: If the problem persists, I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: While hard disk analysis if bad sectors are found when scanning try to repair this area, all available on which data can be lost.

  • When I try to open, add and remove programs system32\rundll. Sayes that it can't find it

cannot open Add and remove programs... no system32 rundll can you help me?

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type sfc in the search box, right-click to SFC. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
