But, when I click the Penpower icon on the start menu, it will not start (failed to start) and above error messages were displayed on the screen. I uninstall and re-install again. But the same error messages appear on the screen. Can someone tell how to fix this problem so I can use the tablet.
I did not have this problem when the same Penpower Jr - 50 software was installed in another computer with Windows XP as the operating system.

Hello WK123,
In addition to the response of Bindu, you can check with the provider of software for the Penpower Jr program to verify that the program is compatible with Windows Vista. If so, you can check that the Pen Power program is uninstalled from Control Panel > programs > programs and features and then try to reinstall the program to check if the problem persists. Alternatively, you can try to install the program by using a different user account.
Regarding the additional error, please relay if any additional programs have been installed recently. You can also run a scan of Antivirus\malware by using Antivirus software.

error message: sysdoc32.exe failed to start because 532stat.dll was not found
I have no idea what to do about this error message: "sysdoc32.exe could start because stat.dll 532 not found." I'm not very computer. All I know is that I had to do a system recovery because the screen kept freezing, and often Internet Explorer has stopped. I ran all the scans for viruses, etc. and no problem there. So, what I do about the error message? Can someone guide me through the process very carefully and in detail?
Thanks advance!

TPSMain.exe - Unable to locate component
Whenever I start my computer, the following error message appears TPSMain.exe - Unable to locate component-
This application has failed to start because TPwrReg.dll is not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.Nobody knows what it means and what I can do about it.
Help, pleaseHello
tpsmain.exe is a process associated with Toshiba laptops. He manages the power save function to ensure that the system goes to a power saving mode when it is not used.
I would recommend to eliminate energy saver completely from the BONE by using Add and remove the option programs in the control panel. Then try again to install this Toshiba utility again. You can use this software to the tools & utility Cd or you will check the download page to Toshiba for latest updates -
Original title: this application has failed to start because apphelp.dll was not found.
A window titled "mmc.exe - Unable to locate component" in the title bar, which includes the message:
"This application has failed to start because apphelp.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. »
that appears when you access many of the 'administration tools' in the start menu. e.g. component, computer, event viewer Management Services, etc.
I'm afraid I accidentally deleted apphelp.dll when cleaning on other files. I found copies of apphelp.dll in following two tracks.
AppHelp.dll C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$ 124KO Extension Application 09/08/2004
AppHelp.dll C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386 123KO Application Extension 04/13/2008
I tried Recuva, but he could not find the file.
How to re - install a such apphelp.dll suggested by the pop - up error message window?
Thank you
I thought it would be something that began with "A".
For low overhead and free, think of Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE).
MSE and a regularly good scan with the definitions updates using MBAM and SAS (from post above) should keep you in good shape according to your Internet habits.

Original title: oleaut32.dll xp
My system XP pro/sp3 does not start normally, without danger or with the original sys disk. I get a message
Isass.exe - Unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because the oleaut32.dll file not found. reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
However, I can't in the operating system to do a re-install.
Any suggestions? If c:\windows\system32\oleaut32.dll is missing, you will see messages like this:
Lsass.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because the OLEAUT32.dll file not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. If the missing file is the only problem, you might have to do a reinstall to fix.
There should be a copy of Oleaut32.dll in the c:\windows\system32\dllcache folder, so if you can get in the XP Recovery Console, you can just replace it - then you are going to have to start on something to do.
Once started in the XP Recovery Console, you must enter this command at the prompt:
Copy c:\windows\system32\dllcache\oleaut32.dll c:\windows\system32
If the file is not in the dllcache folder (it should really be), depending on your installation, this command can work:
Copy c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386\oleaut32.dll c:\windows\system32
Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace any existing file.
I don't know what the Microsoft Support Engineer think that KB307545 or KB922371 will help you. I think that the MSE is just throw a few things to try and some links. You don't describe symptoms consistent with the need to use one of these methods. I would say the MSE has never seen this problem before, made no attempt to reproduce the problem, and has no idea how to fix this.
If your CD does not start in the Recovery Console, or if you don't know what kind of CD do you have to do a CD of XP Recovery Console and boot on it (no media XP required).
Here's how:
Boot into the Recovery Console Windows using an XP bootable installation CD.
If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.
This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.
You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.
The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:
xp_rec_con. ISO
Download the ISO from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig
Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:
When you install ImgBurn, DO NOT install the Ask toolbar.
Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:
http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61
It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.
You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive. These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load. If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.
When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:
Press any key to boot from CD...
Installing Windows... going to pronounce.
Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.
Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)
You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).
You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS. It's the same as the
C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.
The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.
For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:
After replacing the file, remove the CD and type 'exit' to leave the RC and restart the computer.
You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

I use Windows XP PRO Sp 3. I tried to open an iTunes download & got this message. "APSDaemon.exe that this application was able to start. Could not locate the component that msvcr.90.dll was not found. Re-installing may fix this problem. "
All this happened after I tried to install a new update Apple iTunes. He kept saying that he could not install... I tried several different things to solve this problem, including doing a system restore in frustration, for 2 days before today... I tried to update iTunes, not always the case. Help, I'm a no techno, so please do not just refer me to somewhere else, I will never understand what I'm told to do, whenever I am sent somewhere else, I can't solve my problem & give up in frustration. Please can someone take pity on me & guide me through the fix?
A related problem, I tried to run iTunes from the desktop, but I got was the Mini audio player.
I just tried to recreate that & got again the error messages, the one listed above main & another one that says "iTunes is not installed correctly. Please re - install. Error 7 (Windows error 126).
Whenever I try to re - install, I get the error again on the component .dll.
I hope that's enough info to try & help me. I really need this fix to work as I have many meditations downloaded on iTunes, because Windows Media Player could not open the files. It would take me hours & hours to find where they came, they were downloaded over 4 years!
Thank you in advance.
SylviaIf you have not had luck in iTunes (https://discussions.apple.com/community/itunes/itunes_for_windows?view=discussions#/?tagSet=1234) forum, uninstall and reinstall iTunes as described below:
To perform a "clean" iTunes installation uses this technique proposed, from Support of Apple HT1926 article. (If you are using Vista, see THIS instead).
Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
Remove these applications in the following order (do not restart your computer if you are prompted during this process):1 iTunes
2. Apple Software Update
3. Apple Mobile Device Support
4 Hello
5 Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)6. iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
7. iPod Updater
8 QuickTime
Open my computer > C: > Program Files
Delete these files (if present)
1 iPod
2 iTunes
3 QuickTimeFollow these steps if the message "cannot delete iPodService.exe: it is used by another person or program" appears when you try to delete the folder of the iPod.
- Make sure that you have iTunes and iPod Update utility are not open.
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
- Select Start Task Manager.
- Click the processes tab.
- Locate the iPodService.exe in the list.
- IPodService.exe-click and choose end process.
- Quit Task Manager.
Empty your temp directory:
Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
Tools > Folder Options > view tab
Select Show Hidden Files & folder, and then click OKOnce this file is empty, restart the computer
NOTE: If you have trouble uninstalling applications, or if you have a problem, reinstall iTunes because the installer complains that it can not uninstall the current version of iTunes, see the 'Installation issues' section below.
Download & reinstall iTunes from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Installation problems
There are several tools to deal with problems installing or uninstalling applications. If you have these problems, the following should help. Before using one of these tools (including #3), you must create a restore point from the system first (or back up the registry with C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT). See http://windowsxp.mvps.org/registry.htm a complete disk image would be safer if you have this ability.
1 Microsoft has a program install and the resolution of the problems of the uninstalling which is supposed to "work better" and be "safer" to use the old Install Cleanup Utility (3 below).
2. free Revo Uninstaller. You can also download a trial version of uninstaller Revo's ' Pro', which has a few more aggressive cleaning options, but this should not be necessary.
3 Microsoft Windows Install Cleanup Utility. Although this tool has been the preferred tool to deal with the problems of Windows Installer, Microsoft removed from Microsoft download servers because it seems sometimes deleted more than he was supposed to (I believe this was linked to Office uninstall). You can still get Windows Installer Cleanup here--> http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html utility
