  I have restored all of the changes made by Advanced System Care 5 now everything works.

  Advanced System Care 6 upgrades done a registry clean with no problems this time.

  It seems therefore that the registry clean was the problem.

  It does not look like it cleaned everything more then old software keys and the extensions that I use more.

  before you ask, I have checked the log files, but the only action proposed would be to rename a file. It was not clear that one.

  After re-downloaded several times the issue seems to have resolved itself.

  It seems that you did not create a sequence. Then, follow all the steps to create a sequence.

  1 import the clip in the project Panel and right-click on it, select new sequence of the clip.

  2. go to file > new > sequence and create a sequence and then import the cip or drag it to the timeline.
