You want to upgrade Vista current on this laptop HP for Windows 7 ultimate. I'm upgrading and not install it from scratch.

So here's what I have so far...

    2. the Intel site, it says it does not support the OEM driver - to go to the manufacturer site

  • not compatible with Win7 NVIDIA nTune.

I don't know where to post this so here goes. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 9700 M GTS and I downloaded the latest version of NVIDIA nTune. I have contected NVIDIA and they said some of its features are not compatible with Win7, they are only compatible with Vista and XP. I was hoping that Microsoft might relase in a future update compatibility updates to make it fully compatible because I need to be able to turn the internal fan to the card, which is disabled by default.

It is the responsibility of NVidia to release updates for their own hardware and software. I think that Microsoft allows only to distribute these updates through Windows Update. So until NVidia decided to make compatible, or until someone finds a work around, you have to wait to get it working properly.

  • Fable the Lost Chapters for XP is not compatible with Win7 - is there a way to fix it?

I just bought the XP game edition and expects a lot of fun on my new 17 in. Inspiron R with all the trimmings, only to be told that the FtLC for XP is not compatible with Win7.

The problem is that the graphics are like seeing double, literally two principals semi-molten you close them; they never completely merge, and most things, except the bottom, are very blurry.  I already have bad eyesight; I want a clean game.

I have tried to adjust the game to play in the uncluttered window, but it remains only purified until the credits have finished the race.  Then, the game returns to the full screen, wide and I think it's the wide screen that is the cause of the problem; the credits are great!

At Ms. really bring out a game duded up before Fable 4 only to have it be unplayable on pc with the newest Windows operating system?  Or is it possible to work things so the game is playable in fact and you can use a bow without guessing where is the target?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

By chance, I reinstalled the game (that I hadn't played for a long time) on Windows 7 x 64 a few weeks ago. Guess what? It works without too much fiddling.

Maybe it's that you will get a screen that says "incompatibilities with this version of Windows" every time you start (just click it away), and most likely, you will encounter an inactive 'fable.exe' process that must be completed before starting the game a second time (happens only once per Windows session). The second start focus also slowed down as the first, but after a while, the game will go up.

Things to do during the installation: run 'setup' as an administrator (do not use the 'autorun' option) with the following compatibility setttings 'XP SP3', 'disable visual themes', "Disable desktop layout" (this avoids some flickering). Start the game with the same settings. If you are given a choice of setting up your video card (the game is not identify him because it uses a completely outdated XML list of video cards caves), select "primary, no LNP. Resolution of 1024 x 768 x 32 is fine.

Note that the game dimensionnera full screen, even if your screen size is larger than 1024 x 768, but it will keep the old 4:3 picture format, you will have black borders on both sides of the screen.

  • Card PCI-6259 is compatible with the Dell Precision 390?

    Hi all

I need help in answering this question.  I want to buy a better computer for my data PCI-6259 acquisition card.  I tried to search to see if the card is compatible with the PC and there's previous numbers with this set-up before other users.  Do you have a link to the list of the DAQ cards with tested PC configurations?  I want to just make sure that when I buy the computer, everything will work without problem because I only have one shot at this.

    Thanks to all in advance.

    Kind regards

    Hello

We do not have a link to specific DAQ board/PC pairings, but the specifications for the Dell Precision 360 indicate that she has three ports PCI 5V which must be compatible with your PCI-6259.

  • Can I buy OS Win95 or OS WinXP. I have a lot of games of the Win95 era which would please me still. Any solution that many are not compatible with Win7

Cannot enjoy many Win95 strategy games. Verifying the compatibility list and none are there.  For ex: I have the Close Combat series launched by Ms.  Can't run it on my Vista so I wonder if there is a way to get a BONE Win95 or XP if that works and that you install on an old computer.  Other options more welcome.

Windows 95 and Windows XP are obsolete and are no longer available from Microsoft.

  • OfficeJet 6500 has more he says is not compatible with win7

I received a computer running windows 7, but when I put the disc last night, he said that it is not designed to work with windows 7. I thought that this new printer works with the new operating system?

    any suggestion please?

You can try to check the CD? Sometimes, a new printer will come with two separate installation cd. 1 for XP, Vista and Mac, and the 2nd is for windows 7.

Maybe you have inserted the wrong cd? You must use the cd that says on the label: windows7 operating system

  • Re: New SD-R6472 satellite 1800-100 - player target not found

    Hi fans of Toshiba

    I have a Satellite 1800-100 and bought a Player DVD SD-R6472
I downloaded the SD-R6472 csel changer program but cannot execute it.
It says "target drive is not found.

I have already download the latest version of the bios

Anyone know what to do next?
It would be much appreciated if someone could help me on this

    Best regards
    Chris

There is a simple explanation; the firmware that you use is simply not compatible with your SD-R6472 drive.

I don t think you will succeed to Flash the drives settings.
Is that these tools is not available on the Toshiba page and I doubt that any software 3rd party would be able to do this

Before you buy a CD/DVD drive, you must make sure that such ODD would be compatible with your laptop.
In my manual, I have found information on compatible players.
Maybe your user manual would provide info on the STRANGE compatible too
If this isn't the case, then you should contact the Toshiba ASP for information on compatible CD/DVD players.

  • Problem Win7: Device driver (* .inf) within the distribution is not installed in setup.exe. Why?

    Hi people,

We have a device driver (* .inf) to our application that is added to our distribution , we create in CVI. In the past we did copy the *.inf in the /dossier inf directly (using the distribution Installer "files"-Tab "").

Recently, we have followed the guidelines described in "Using LabWindows/CVI to install your device .inf files.

So we have now chosen a significant subdirectory of our application as the destination folder for the file *.inf instead of directly copy in the system directory.

Everything works well (besides the fact that our driver has no signature and needs user interaction), while using Windows XP.

DIFxApp (run MsiProcessDrivers) recognizes the *.inf file and installs the device driver.

After completing successfully the setup.exe, the specified *.inf has been duplicated as oem*.inf/pnf under /INF.

But under Windows 7 the *.inf is not installed. I ran "setup.exe/l * v" for the information of the installation log file.

    And I found this article:

MSI (s) (8:9 C) [13:56:41:043]: jumping action: MsiProcessDrivers (the condition is false)
Of course the step of installing the drivers is ignored.

Choose the /INF in the folder target to the *.inf (which does not work on Windows XP) everything works fine.

Does anyone know why MsiProcessDrives is ignored in Windows 7? It is always ignored or I do something wrong?

    Help is appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Philipp

PS. : The device driver *.inf was written for several OS (XP, Vista, Win7) target according to Microsoft guidelines for this. So it of a universal *.inf file and can be used in each operating system from XP to Win7.

    Good,

    I solved the problem myself.

The problem is related to the DIFxApp.dll , which is available as 32-bit and 64-bit version.

In my case, I created the distribution as the 32-bit version. That's why 32-Bit DIFxApp.dll is merged into the MSI file that is not compatible with Windows 7 (64-bit).

This is why NOR added to this CustomAction Condition (NOT VersionNT64) for MsiProcessDrivers, which is perfectly adapted to the species but of by not having is not the *.inf file

installed in Win7. I guess the distribution building like Release64 it will use the 64-bit Version of DIFxApp.dll. I'm not able to verify that (still works on XP).

But then it will probably crash on XP.

But anyway. We have a distribution for the two BONES.

Quick & dirty solution I figured out:

-Edit-> files distribution: Add the *.inf file to C:\window\inf

-Manually add VersionNt64 condition in the resulting MSI file under component -> (you can use the ORCA editor for this)

So now, in the case of XP, the *.inf file gets installed by DIFxApp.dll.

Windows 7 using the *.inf is copied directly in the windows/inf folder and installs automatically the first time that the device is connected.

I guess you can merge DIFxApp.dll (32 bit) and DIFxApp.dll (64-bit) to the MSI and manage things together, create conditions. But it is not quickly implemented. At least for me is not...

    Regards Philipp

  • where can I download PCI device Acer laptop with win7 64 bit driver

where can I download PCI device Acer laptop with win7 64 bit driver

Information on what you need the driver can be useful, but--
All the drivers for your card mother books must be downloaded from the Acer site.
These should include drivers for the cards that use a PCI slot. If not then you would
Download the drivers from the mfg of the connected to the PCI slot expansion card.
