Window clock 8

I've been watching the windows 8 synchronization capabilities and I get multiple computers to synchronize various things between them.  But I failed to see someone explain which PC synchronizes with.  If I move between PC and change something in particular PC as for example background Telechareger on it, to make the rest of the PC and then synchronize with that one?  If that's the case then we say that the last PC that has changed is the one to which all other PCs will be synchronized to?

Hi cycle,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

I would like to inform you that. When you connect with a Microsoft account, your PC is connected to the cloud. This means that many of your personal settings and preferences are stored on Microsoft servers online and then are synchronized to connect to any PC. Your chosen colors, themes, language preferences, the browser history and Favorites and settings app Windows Store are synchronized between several PCs and not on SkyDrive.

It is not that if you change or setup parameter on a particular computer and the rest of the PCs will also synchronize the PC for.

It is with your Microsoft Account for EX: you have signed in with your Microsoft Account to a particular computer and you configure settings on this PC and this setting will sync to your Microsoft Account, once you connected with the same Microsoft Account to one of the PC. That the settings will be sync for parts which you have logged on by using the same Microsoft Account.

I suggest you check out the link below.

Hope this information helps and let us know the State of the question, we will be happy to help you.

Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

I understand your wanting to block the clock!  However, in the Vista operating system, you cannot lock the clock.  You can search for clocks and there is some third party software that claims it can do it.

Before any person whose clock is slow rush to buy a new
battery, he was first to note whether it is waste of time while
the computer is running or off the coast when it is powered. If that's all
engine off, the problem is most likely the battery. But if it's
during the race, he may not be the battery, as the battery is not
used when the computer is running.

If the clock loses time running, try this:

Open a command prompt window (start |) Run | cmd) and type in the
    following commands:

    net stop w32time
w32tm /unregister [ignore the error message]
    w32tm /unregister
    w32tm /register
    net start w32time

    Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately, the language can not only exchange for calendar. It can change Windows 7 as operating system.

You can install the Hebrew language pack. You can refer to this article:

In order to understand the issue more clearly, I would ask that kindly provide me with the following information.

    1. You did any specific changes before this problem?

Maybe the computer CMOS battery took a dump and must be replaced. I would get a flat screwdriver (assuming that it is a desktop computer) pop-out the motherboard and then I look at the serial number on the battery and then buy the same exact battery and then maybe your problem will be solved.

  • Pavilion dv6 2170 clock problem after replacing the CMOS battery

Hello world. Sorry for my bad likely English

OK, so the problem started since I changed my laptop CMOS battery. and to be honest it wasn't whit any problem the clock when I replaced it but I if this may be the cause of another problem that later I figuered what the problem was because of the RAM.

in any case, I changed the Rams and this problem has been resolved. I just set the clock of the BIOS and rebooted the system. After awhile I figuered that windows clock is not fair. I restarted again and saw the BIOS clock. It has been reset for 2009! even when the laptop battery and power supply are attached the BIOS and windows continues to change clock! I even changed my windows and I replaced the CMOS battery with the former, but nothing helped. It seems really strange, but I don't think it's maybe a hardware problem there a driver or something for the CMOS battery... need your help! Thank you!

You mentioned that the BIOS has been reset for 2009? This means that there is a problem with the current or any leak and the BIOS has been "reset" back at the root of the plant. I'm afraid you have shorted something when you changed the battery not be grounded.

Worst case is that there is physical damage to your motherboard and there is nothing you can do about it, probably broken a capacitor - who cannot hold a charge to prevent the reset of the BIOS clock.

    However, you can try this.

Completely, unplug your computer, remove the laptop battery, etc... Then browse 'Guide' your computer for the "hard physical reset" for your CMOS. I don't know what it's like on a laptop, I only did it on desktop with riders. Be sure to follow the directions precisely.

-Make sure you are properly grounded. touch the metal parts that is grouned before touching anything on your computer.
-the hard reset should be done for at least 30 seconds, this ensures that the power is completely served the system. Then you can set this back.

Try this a couple of times, first without removing the CMOS battery and 2nd time after remove CMOS battery and placing it in.

    Good luck.

BTW, you can also try running without your new memories (if there is more than 1 stick, try them separately). In fact, I would probably try first before doing a hard reset CMOS. The reason why I didn't say earlier, it's because I have assumed that you already tried this.

  • Clock is waste of time

    waste time

    Hi, JohnPeace,

    Start > type Services.msc.

Scroll down for time Service Windows

    Right click and select Properties

Startup must be set to automatic

In the service status, click on stop

Wait for Windows to stop the service

In the service status, click Start

Wait for Windows to restart the service

    Close the window

If the problem persists, return to Services.msc and stop Windows time service. Back to zero computer and it should start to restart.

Have you checked your battery? Low battery sometimes causes problems with the Windows clock.

Verify that the CMOS battery is actually activated. They often come with a thin plastic cover to stop it unloads during transit/storage before use. If the battery still has his film the problem occur.

I guess you can try the XP driver for this support from your PC and driver page and see if it works (on W7 XP drivers work).  You may need to install manually as the graphics driver.
