Window does not repaint sometimes

I encountered a strange problem in the last week or two - Firefox seems to be defaulting to repaint correctly occasionally.

For example, if I have a visualization of scrolling for a (foobar2000) music player in the background, then I switch to Firefox, the Firefox window content begins scrolling! Other problems occur when I close a tab, as the list of the tab at the top of the screen does not refresh until I have the mouse over all. Similarly, when I switch tabs, the page sometimes does not reflect the content of the tab, I just changed to until I got the mouse over, or switch tabs back.

I tried to update my video drivers, but they are already on the latest version. I tried to turn on and off the composition of the bureau, but that did not help.

Having multiple versions of a program can cause problems.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the < SHIFT(Mac Options)> , key
and then from Firefox. Is always the problem?

  • Why am I suddenly "USB not recognized, one of the devices USB has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize"

Hi all. If anyone out there in Cyber Land can solve this problem for me so I've personally you will issue an eight-pack of ice-cold beer (or a bottle of wine for the ladies lol)...

I'll try not to waffle too guys, so here's...

Right my PC running Windows XP. I also have itunes installed on my PC (I have an iphone 4). Upward until yesterday my iphone and itunes were working well, (once I plugged my iphone in the itunes USB port recognised that my iphone was plugged and synchronization was fine etc.).

But now when I plug my iphone to PC to sync with itunes, I get a pop up box on the lower right part of the screen that reads... "USB not recognized one of the USB devices has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize."

After visiting about 5 different sites now "Ways to solve this problem", believe it or not, I still have the problem bloody! :(

A site proposed shutdown PC and unplug it from the power supply, then plug it back start-up and back... this as did not work!
The other they say that I should go to Device Manager, uninstall all the USBs then restart... it did not work either.
    Tried a system restore
    Tried to reinstall itunes

When I check the names USB in Device Manager, there is one who reads unknown device. I am literally pulling what's left of my hair now. I tried to solve this problem for almost 2 days now and still no joy. That's why no matter what input you guys would be very appreciated. I'm no PC Wizard, so please, don't think you're patronizing me if you break down things step by step for me.

Thank you comrades, cordially, Freddy frustrated. :)

Another said I should go to Device Manager, uninstall all the USBs and restart.

Usually, this works... but can be very dangerous, unless you have a PS/2 keyboard.

I also assume that you have tried all other USB ports on the computer. tried a verified USB device (for example, a flash drive) in the USB usually when you plug in your iPhone. and I tried your iPhone in another computer (I know it's rare for an error message Windows really means what he says, but sometimes the material lacks).

Is the charge of the iPhone when it is connected to the USB port (I don't think)?  This happened to me recently, but a reboot fixed it.  I guess that that happened to you.

I guess that you don't see the error messages in Device Manager or you must declare them.

You can uninstall all USB devices that do not exist as follows:

    • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    • Enter the following command and press enter

    Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

    • Start the Device Manager by typing the following in the same command prompt window

    devmgmt.msc

    • In Device Manager, click the view menu and select "Show hidden devices".
    • You should see a category just after "Non-Plug and Play drivers" named "other devices."  Chances are that there will be a big exclamation yellow mark beside it.  When you expand the "other devices" you should see several non identified "USB devices."  Uninstall all this.
    • Reboot (with the iPhone NOT connected).

    No, you can't.

If you have a true bootable XP with SP1 or SP2 installation CD, you can create a new installation CD with SP3 integrated using a process called "slipstreaming".

It is a pleasure to the project for a day and there are several methods, you can read on the Internet, such as BleepingComputer:

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial154.html

If you want to use the Recovery Console and is not a real XP bootable installation CD or are not sure what you have, simply create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console yourself (without XP media required)

    Here's how:

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

When you install ImgBurn, DO NOT install the Ask toolbar.

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

  • Windows does not when you try to copy files from a micro sd using a T-flash card

I have never had any problems to copy files to a flash drive in the past, but recently, I encountered this problem. I had to reboot the computer, I have tried to reboot several times and tried to copy but without success. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

    Hello

The same information on the key USB applies to map drives
so do not put all the files and folders to the root of the drive.

Have you tried the card in other card readers? Sometimes the reformatting

It is the troubleshooter for the readers of SD cards which of course is very similar.

If you can not get the card reader to work, it can be replaced or an external card reader is not

They go bad sometimes. Try these:

/ Settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 when you start then look at the screen - make sure that the USB port is enabled.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Control Panel - Device Manager - hard disk - drive SD card or similar - double click - tab driver-
Click on update drivers (this likely will do nothing that MS is far behind the certifying drivers) then right click
    following the UNINSTALL.

Now bring the controllers USB - right click - UNINSTALL everything in category one at time EXCEPT
the category itself - REBOOT. This will refresh the USB driver stack.

Here is the similar procedure under XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.

    Do 1 above.

USBDeview is a small utility that lists all USB devices currently connected to your computer, as well as

Start - type in the search box - Windows Disk - find Windows Disk Management on the list above.

  • Windows does not start normally after Windows Update

My computer does not seem to start more. Whenever it starts, it makes to the 'Starting Windows' screen, and then my screen goes black. My primary monitor does not receive a response, but my second monitor stays on until the computer restarts again. This happened last night after that my computer shuts down for the first time in a few weeks to install windows updates from July. I had updated windows to try to fix something with iTunes, which might have something to do with my problem. My computer was not showing any other kind of problem before that.

    Here are some other details:

    * I use Windows 7 Home Premium (Microsoft Windows Version 6.1.7601)

    * Windows does not load with normal settings but will load in safe mode.

    * System Restore never works in the system recovery (a non specifiederror occurred during system restore.) ((0x800700b7))  and sometimes says it works when I do it in safemode, but solves nothing. Yes, I tried using different restore points.

    * I think that my roots of the problem in the fact that I tried to restore my phone, but the computer could not install the drivers correctly.

    * Startup Repair does not detect it.

Attempt to sfc/scannow in command prompt returns two different answers: "there is a system repair pending whice requires the restart ends.» Restart Windows and run sfc. "during the attempt to system recovery and" Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and managed to fix their. " Details are provided in convertible bonds. Journal windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log"in Safe Mode with command prompt.

I apologize if my description is a bit vague, but I need some urgent help with my computer. I tried all the solutions I've come across, but the same problem persists.

  • cannot move the application window = Windows does not know how to do windows.

It is quite ironic that the company that filed the name windows does not the best job to design a GUI of windows desktop:

    1. If I run a browser with multiple tabs (usually 30) opened with a connection with limited bandwidth (cable modem), the browser window opens but is locked in place (it cannot be dragged by the grab bar) until all the tabs are loaded.  ~ 30-40 seconds.  What is happening with this?  Who designed the graphical interface of Windows?

Furthermore, is not a failure to set bookmarks, multiple tabs are left open because many activities underway, that's what tabs are for.

    2. If a secondary application window / "door" is open, the application window is locked in place.  If an attempt is made to drag the window of the grab bar, the pane starts a queasy nod.  The pane must be closed before the window can be moved.  The component can then be reopened to complete the desired operation.  Is this a real problem?  Well Yes, sometimes a lot of time is wasted juggling and spinning to get the installer of Windows GUI/desktop as you want, for example: obtaining information from a window of the underlying application and before deciding what to do.  This applies to windows, not windows, not MAC OS, Linux not.  Windows forever.

Re. 1. If I run a browser with many tabs...

It is not so much the result of the design of GUI but a work function how graphical operating systems.   Events, such as the mouse messages are queued in a message loop, and there is a communication between an application program and Windows if a callback procedure.  The operating system cannot always respond instantly when an application is busy as any other treatment happens.  Open the 30 windows! on the application startup is a lot of treatment and is bogged down the loop CPU and message.   If you want an instant answer to OS any level of demand, you can look to a supercomputer rather than a PC multi-million dollar.

Re. 2. If a secondary application window / "door" is open, the application window is locked in place.

The "sub-sub-window/pane' is properly called a modal dialog box.  Windows are usually coded in modal form (which means that they should be closed before a continuous program) when they include a message critical, or can be used to configure the application settings.  If you would like more information see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modal_window

These two conditions certainly exist in other operating systems.

  • Windows does not start - XPS 8300

I have a XPS8300 (2010) who does not successfully start windows.  System Restore does not resolve the problem.  Especially when I try to start it, the HARD drive runs very fast, Windows does not start, the screen turns off, but the machine does not stop automatically.  A few times I was able to press F8 and load it to the ' last known good state ", but this does not work normally.  When it works (like now) the function of machine reasonably well and I can access the files.  So I think that the HARD drive may be OK.

I ran the ePST - he tried repeatedly - and he never performs the test.  No error code.  The screen turns off and then sometimes it just hangs. But earlier it gave me a code of "beep".  It's "1 - 2 - 3.

Tried to run the Dell diagnostic online, but it's pretty slow, I can't tell if it has "hooked", or if it is still ongoing.

Would appreciate recommendation on next steps.

A flaky power supply can cause these problems, and they are quite common.

    Hello, David Bry1,.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that when you try to print from a number of different applications, you do not see the preview of the document you are printing. I would like to assure you that I see the preview as well when I print. Let's see how we can get this resolved.

I advise you to ensure that the printer software is up-to-date on your printer Brother DCP-7065DN. Please choose 'Available Software' brother printer and scanner software for macOS Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, and Mavericks

If a software update is available, please install and then test and see if you get the same result.

    -Ran CCleaner and Spybot S & D
-Manually reset the registry values with regedit.
-J' deleted all AppData and plugin files.
