Window size of Windows Media Player 12

When I use Windows Media Player 12 to play a video file or picture it starts in a small window.  And the small window is going to be in the upper left corner of the office.  How can I configure to start 'enlarged '?  It irritates me that and I have to manually re - its maximum size to display the content.  Someone please, one that has an answer contact me @ my email address: * email address is removed from the privacy *.

Thank you.

I think I have solved the problem.  I 'release' wmplayer in the taskbar, and then I click wmplayer in the Start Menu, selected 'Properties' then changed to 'run' wmplayer maximized.  Finally, I deleted the wmplayer.exe in the folder "Prefetch".  I have likes wmplayer to the taskbar.  So far, it starts enlarged and has been a lot of work.

I just wanted you to know.

  • Size of Windows Media Player

Hi, I'm new to Labview software

I currently use it for my project and I try to incorporate the Windows Media Player on this subject. However, size always changes depend on the video size that it plays. My question is: How can I size the WMP, so that even if I play the 800 x 600 pixels it will be just in the original size?

    Thank you

Simply create a property node and the game to all write, set values, and your order will be limited to what you put in the size.

Microsoft windows media player does not retain the previous size. is irrtating so me gift of reorganize its size every time when I open it.plz help I want stable wmp version 11, version 12 is sucks.

    Hello, Simone

I'll assume you're on Windows 7. Windows Media Player 12 is not supported on Windows Vista or XP and as such, you will need to go back to Windows Media Player 11.

You can check the permissions in the registry to ensure that it is able to record information.

Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.

Open the registry editor by clicking on start, type regedit.exe in the search box and press on enter, you may be prompted to continue.

In the registry editor, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, MediaPlayer, then Preferences.

It should be an element named LastLocation_26, right-click on it and select Rename, and rename it to old LastLocation_26.

Leave the open registry editor and open Media Player, then move it to your favorite place and close Media Player.

In the registry editor, press F5 on your keyboard and check if LastLocation_26 has been recreated.

If this is not the case, there is probably a permissions problem.

If so, the location must be registered.

  • Album art size - Windows Media Player 12

Repost this, in the hope that someone (obviously not MS, who clearly couldn't care) has an idea how to solve this
I've seen dozens of discussions around the intarnetz on the issue of small album art in Windows Media Player 12, but does not find a definitive 'yes' or 'No' to the question of whether you can get something larger than the resized image pathetic 240 x 240 display when you play a track. Is this possible? If I play titles in Foobar or MediaMonkey (the two programs I hate, BTW) I can get album art to display 'properly' (i.e. the actual size of the image) but cannot find how do in WMP12
PS: Mods - do NOT mark this question as "answered" once some muppet of first line reads and publishes a 'response' nothing on it. Also, do not rename the question "how to get album art to display more than 240 x 240 - I don't want" more than 240 x 240' - I want it displays THE ACTUAL SIZE OF the WORK - just like WMP always used to do. ' " Thank you very much.

I found a solution for the problem of art version 32-bit windows 7 wmp12 album also (since prior to the given by me is true only for Windows 7 64 - bi wmp12).

    Here it is:

Make a backup before doing the prescribed steps as mess with registry can lead to a DEAD computer.

(For backup just click on COMPUTER in regedit.exe, and then file-> export-> 'file name' (may take a few minutes))

    1) go to the path in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences

    (2) then create a key with the name 'PlayerModeAlbumArtSelected' and set its value data to ' ' as '0' (without qoutes) (for the creation of new key, right click anywhere inside the window and select "new-> DWORD (32-bit) Value")

    (3) then find the key with the name 'ShowAlbumArt' and its 'value data' the value "1" (without qoutes)

The Windows Media Player 12 now shows the original AlbumArt who put you in the song.

    Enjoy!

  • Windows Media Player album art size seems reduced

    Windows media player

I'm running on windows 7, 64 bit. When I open windows media player and click on albums, all my albums are displayed. The size of the album icon is square about an inch. When I click with the right button on a selected album icon and select (open), it will open and give me a list of all the songs of this album. My problem is that the album icon should always be the same size, one square inch. However he some how size is reduced to about a quarter of an inch. Why? What may have caused to change?

It is also possible that the Album column is too small. Resize the column to expand the album icon. Tim Baets

  • Windows media player switches will not remain on the view full screen because then a minute

I watch a video stream on windows media player from wwe.com and generally it works quite well but he just started to turn off full-screen after a minute of me clicking on it someone knows a fix for this, it starts to become annoying it spend every minute, that I started to watch it on the normal screen, but I want to go back at the mercy of full screen for any help I receive

    Hello jamessharmon_3349

It is designed to run reduced to save resources for other applications that are running at the same time.

Check your display settings to see if your screen saver is set to activate so that maybe that's why your Windows Media Player minimizes full screen.

You can use the Task Manager to see what processes running high when WMP is reduced to a minimum. It could be a resource as Antivirus taking over CPU causing WMP decrease its size.

    Thank you

  • Windows Media Player incorrectly displays Photo DVD

Whenever I am watching a DVD on WMP the entire image doesn't appear on the screen. It's normal display size or full screen that I choose but its almost like if the image is enlarged. I also noticed that to click on the menu options of DVD rather than the buttons being where the words on the screen are they are an inch or so off the coast on the side.

    Help, please

    Hi Obecný,

This happens with any particular DVD?

    1 reduce display settings:

    a. Click Start, click Run and then type desk.cpl in the Open box. Or, right-click an empty area of the desktop and then click Properties.

    b. on the settings tab, move the slider to 800 X 600 screen resolution.

    c. Select 16-bit for the color quality, and then click OK.

    d. some display drivers can support playback of DVD at higher resolutions and color depths. If this solution works, using a driver updated, you can read the DVD at higher color depths and resolutions.

    2. try to reduce the video hardware acceleration in Windows Media Player:

In Windows Media Player, on the Tools menu, click Options.

In the performance, under video acceleration tab, move the slider more close votes to zero, and then click OK.

If this allows to read DVDs in fullscreen, it indicates that there is a problem with your graphics card or driver. It may be possible to obtain an updated driver from the manufacturer of the display adapter.

  • Impossible to copy files to the Sansa Fuze using Windows 7 (drag and drop, or Windows Media Player)

    Hello

Yesterday, I bought the Sansa Fuze and I have problems copying files to the device using either Windows Media Player (Sync) or Drag and Drop (Explorer).

    The symptoms are:

    (1) the device is recognized and available in Windows 7 (Series USB MSC - sorry don't have it with me right now)

    (2) took me to upgrade to the latest firmware, which has worked flawlessly

    (3) when I try to drag and drop a file on the device (I use Windows 7, 64-bit), it starts, but doesn't seem to calculate the size of the files or waiting time to download correctly.  It is followed by a slow progressive, until the computer crashes, resulting in a constant 100% of the CPU.  The only solution is a hard reboot

    (4) when you use Windows WM, the device is recognized, okay and the synchronization starts, but it then stops without reason.  Once again, the processor springs and requires a reboot

    (5) using the results 3 and 4 in 1-5 files being copied across, but not more.

    (6) I tried several albums and one album at a time, but cannot determine if that makes a difference.

    Help, please!

    See you soon,.

    Richard

It may be a bug in Windows 7. But one thing to try is to go to the Device Manager (assuming that Windows 7 still has), uninstall the "rocket" (under USB controllers), and then run add hardware to find and reinstall the driver.

Use the MTP with Windows Media Player mode, MSC mode without.

  • Windows Media Player Toolbar gone!

Up until recently (September 2010) on Windows Media Player, there was a little extra toolbar that allowed me to repeat the large or small sections of a guitar tutorial DVD, so that I could watch the action repeatedly playing with her. It was also available for bookmarking to a specific section, so I could go straight to it. It is!  This small extra toolbar disappeared without a trace! Can someone tell me how can I find? I don't speak of orders Stop, Start, Pause, Fast Forward & reverse. It's all there.

In addition, the DVD used to open small screen - in a version it now opens full screen every time. Even if I can reduce the size of the image, it's just another sign of the old program does not as it should. Would be very grateful for any help. Eric - Sydney Australia

  • The slopes in ripping in Windows Media Player

When I tear my live CD I don't want a gap between tracks. In addition, I do not what have to rip the entire CD as one long track.  Is it possible to reproduce the CD tracks are separate, but there is no difference when listening to them permanently?

    Thank you

RIP you your CD to MP3? If so, there is no solution for making gapless playback. This is how works the MP3 format. It leaves a small silence at the beginning/end of the tracks. The only solution for the MP3 format is to make a big MP3 with all of the disk.

Is there a way to make your CD ripped without interval. The Windows Media Player options media to be ripped off without interval by selecting Format: 'Windows Media Audio Lossless. I believe that no loss is a format which is gapless. A side effect is that the sizes of files when you check out files are rather large.

  • Windows Media Player 11, DVD video, not big enough in fullscreen

During playback of movies DVD with WMP 11 and in full screen, the video does not stretch to the edge of the screen.

I have a flat screen monitor set to 1600 x 900. When I entered the mode full screen the video becomes a bit larger, but does not fill the edges of the screen. In other players such as InterWinDVD player or video Media Player Classic DVD of the CCCP play full screen completely to the edges of the screen (except for two black borders on the top and bottom do wide screen of culture).

However in WMP 11 200% is not big enough. I was wondering if it is possible to get the video to play 300 or 400% in size?

    Here's what I mean:

    Hey Helldiver.

Check if you have the plug-ins installed to support the features of DVDs on your Media Player. Windows Media Player is a complete DVD player when combined with a DVD decoder (MPEG-2 decoder) with features such as full-screen video playback controls, ads chapter DVD and integrated pouch.

If you are running Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate, DVD capabilities are included as part of the operating system. If you are running Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista business, or Windows Vista Enterprise, you can enhance your DVD playback experience by purchasing a pack of decoder DVD or upgrade to a more powerful version of Windows Vista.

Here is a link to the list of plugins that you can install to get the features of full fledge for you DVD:

Try to install these plug-ins and see if you can get the service your DVD playback fullscreen

  • Windows Media Player - print the contents of the library

    Hi guys

I have a pretty extensive library of music stored on my PC and run on Windows Media Player 11.

My wife just bought a new MP3 player and I want to select these pieces she wants synched on his device.

I want to do it is have a print to track quotes as they appear in the WMP library so that it can go through and mark the tracks you want she wants. At the moment I can't find a way to do this other than by entering a series of screen shots and pasting in Word.

Any suggestions there or the will of the screenshot is the only way.

I want to avoid having us as well sitting there scroll down the list and choose the tracks as they appear.
