Windows 10 caused a power failure internal repeated at Dell Inspiron 7000 series (7548)

Hello. I got a Dell Inspiron 7 perfectly good Series I bought 6 months ago.

Windows 10 was just installed on my laptop and about 10-15 seconds after I log in there is internal an error - power failure. It happens every time.

It's a little ridiculous. It does not resemble a system restore point is recorded by Windows 10 so can't retrieve Windows 8.

Some tips would be great.

THX.

There is a problem with the driver for the secondary graphics card. I disabled it and it fixed my problem (for now). It's just a temporary solution until Dell and AMD meet. I'm upset that Dell announces that PC as being "Windows 10 loan" when it is well obviously this far from it.

I installed the update of windows the other day to return to find the catastrophic hard drive failure. I've never had problems with this computer before. I wonder if anyone has had similar problems. I lost a lot of work, the photos that I'm never going back.

Is it possible that windows update caused this hard drive failure?

    Hello

Windows updates won't cause failure catastrophic hdd. In addition, I would like to let you know that hard drives are mechanical devices with moving parts, so they are subject to wear and tear expected. It may possibly do not mechanically at a given time. However, most of the manufacturers branded their product with an average (usually supplied by total number of operating hours). But if a part is defective or there is some manufacturing defects, service life of the drive, a bit more in as little as a day.

Other factors are primarily external in nature. Mounted sudden power can cause a drive failure, as can cause fire or damage, as well as a number of computer viruses of water. Exposure to high levels of magnetism can disrupt the classic functions of a player, as well as net impacts. If dust gets in a car, it can become a catalyst for an eventual failure.

Can someone help me out here?

You will first need to go to the website of manufacturers for your model computer and first find out if there are native drivers in Windows 7. A large number of computers that are preloaded with Windows 10 do not pilot have native support for Windows 7 by the manufacturer. If there is no native driver, you will need to consider returning the machine and buying a machine preloaded with Windows 10 Pro with downgrade rights to Windows 7 Professional. Or look through the catalogue of manufacturers for systems already preloaded with Windows 7, usually the business sector will have these options.

  • 15 Inspiron 7000 series 7559 - paved touch Windows 7

I recently installed Windows 7 on my Inspiron 15 7000-7559. I managed to find most of the drivers and get the working material.

However for the Touchpad, I can't find driver or software for it. Windows 7 uses only the default drivers mouse Compatible PS/2. When in the Dell drivers site, there no drivers for input devices.

It works very much like a regular touchpad, but it doesn't have the additional function, as two fingers scrolling etc.

It's always very good to me until I realized that my Palm will accidentally hit the touchpad when typing. Looking at my old dell laptops, I saw that there is a feature of rejection of palm for the Dell touchpad.

Windows detects this trackpad as Atmel Maxtouch.

Can someone please advise me were to find a compatible driver for this problem?

Help and support is greatly appreciated.

What is the Windows experience index?

Read the article above about it.

    Your score of 3:

A computer with a base score of 3 is able to run Windows Aero and many new features Windows Vista at a basic level. Some of the newWindows that Vista advanced features would not have all of their functionality available. For example, a machine with a base score of 3 can display the Windows Vista theme at a resolution of 1280 × 1024, but might struggle to run the theme on multiple monitors. Or, it can play digital TV content but might be difficult to read the content of the TV high definition (HDTV).

And make sure you have latest hardware drivers Vista installed on the site to manufacture ' e, not through Windows updates:

  • Following Windows upgrade 2-in-1 10 no automatic rotation of screen on Inspiron 7000

I have an Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 that I just upgraded to Windows 10. Following the upgrade, auto-rotation of the screen has stopped working, and I could not allow him because the button in the notifications area to do so was gray. I also found the check box turn on in the display settings dialog box, but after allowing that the screen has always refused to auto-rotation.

Note that this function works very well under Windows 8.1, so I know it can't be a hardware problem.

Then I went to the Manager of peripheral and deleted devices of two sensors, thinking that Windows should detect and reinstall the drivers for them once I restarted. There is unfortunately no, and detection devices have been in Device Manager. I've never seen a version of Windows that does not detect missing drivers for hardware existing after a reboot and re - install automatically.

Now, all the options to activate the rotation of the screen disappeared, so Windows apparently didn't know that the motion detectors exist.

I've looked everywhere for these device drivers so I can install myself, including the Dell site support using my service code number and drew a complete blank. Where can I get drivers for detection devices, or otherwise get this problem fixed?

Please help, a 2-in-1 is pretty useless if I can't get the display to auto-rotation. Thanks in advance!

Seems, that I figured this out...

When you uninstall the sensor devices by using Device Manager, Windows 10 do not detect after a reboot and automatically installs the drivers as Windows normally would for any other device (as long as you have the setting enabled in the "Devices and printers" dialog box, it is enabled by default), as I had mentioned previously.

This is because the sensor for my model laptop drivers (Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 (7348)) are part of the Dell 'Intel Chipset Driver' package. There is absolutely no mention of this on the downloads page, which obviously is not very useful:

    www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails

Once I installed this package, all the controls for the rotation of the screen appeared, but they were always in gray.

It turns out that controls the rotation of the screen now gray when you have the laptop open in the "normal position", or with the keyboard on your work surface and the tilted screen back as you would normally use for any another portable computer. Once you either place the laptop on the direction tries or with the keyboard completely folded backward, those controls 'sober up' themselves and can then be changed. To the best of my knowledge, this was not the case in Windows 8.1, and it's easy to fall into entrapment.

Live and learn I guess, but it's not an obvious problem is easy to understand, or at least it wasn't for me. I hope this helps someone.

1 slave the drive in another computer and try to read the data in this way

2 buy or borrow a pregnant USB hard drive upgrade disk hard inside plug it into another computer and try to read the data in this way

    3. If your equipment is damaged by using Knoppix or similar CD linux to retrieve data won't work because they depend on your working materials

  • Windows 7 starts problems with black screen and the cursor because of power failure

I'm on a Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium OS. Start-up problems arose after the power failure (accidentally unplugged the charger, the battery was not in place) during a video call in Skype. Accessories attached to the laptop at the time were a Logitech Webcam, a dongle Bluetooth, microphone and headphones.

When starting my laptop Asus N81VP, he'll go as far as the 'Starting Windows' logo, then I meet a black screen with a mobile cursor. I don't then right click, CTRL + ALT + DELETE.

    I tried the things:

Start Up Repair = "cannot automatically repair."

System Restore = no available restore points

Windows Memory Diagnostic = at 100%, no screen of detected problems, then black with mobile cursor

Networking Mode Safe Mode/Safe = black screen with cursor mobile

Activate video low resolution (640 x 480) = black screen with cursor mobile

Good known Configuration = black screen with cursor mobile list

Start Windows normally = black screen with cursor mobile

Please help me. I've had this laptop for less than a year, and it would break my heart to have to re - format.

You seem to have exhausted most of the options available in such cases, except two:
D ' log in under a different account.
-To restore your registry files manually. See below for more details.

On your heart that could get broken: have you considered using the imaging facility that is integrated with Windows 7? You can find it in the control panel / backup and restore. This is somewhat marginal in the feature and it can be finicky, but it saved my butt several times.

You can restore your registry files manually to a previous point through the steps described below. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. Note that it may reset your password to a previous value.
    1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
    2. Select repair in the menu that looks like this:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode
3 log in as administrator if you are prompted.
    4. Select repair when prompted.
    5. Select the command line in the menu that looks like this:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7
    6. identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be one drive other than c, but it will not X:. You do this by typing commands
    DIR C:\Win*
    Dir D:\Win*
    dir E:\Win*
until you find the Windows folder.
    I'll call this "Q:" drive
    7 type these commands:
    CD /d Q:\windows\System32\config
    xcopy *. * Q:\MyRegBack\
    CD RegBack
    dir
    8. review the dates of the software, system, and SAM files. The files created before or after that is your problem?
    9. If they were made before the problem appeared, you can then type these commands:
    copy software / y...
    /y copy system...
    /y copy Sam...
(the two points are part of each order)
    10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\MyRegBack to Q:\Windows\System32\config.

As indicated whenever I Plug and on my adapter on power point, there would be a power failure, and the trip is changed. What is the problem? And is covered by a warranty? My warranty 3 years on local warranty site, including the part and the work that is still valid with the exception of the battery (which is only a year)
    Thank you.

    Yes.

If it trips the circuit breaker for any outlet plug in, then it is defective and a fire hazard. I do not recommend using again.
