• If I create an image of my windows 7 hard drive, should the new drive size match the old drive?

  I want to create a backup of my hard drive that has windows 7 on it.  Do I need a hard drive of the same size or can it be smaller?  I want to put the hard disk image is smaller but still would have enough space for all the data on my computer. Thanks for your help!

  I installed my new Satellite Z830-10j. No recovery or other. Clean fresh new windows. Seems to me that all drivers were forund by Windows. But I can't restore the driver or software for this little button above the touchpad. It is the button to block the touchpad in the case where you write a lot about the keyboard.

  Out of curiosity, but why you did that? What is the reason for this? I mean you've had perfectly configured and don t working well the OS and I understand the people who do this.

  Updates MicroSoft screwed up my OS and I had to get it reinstalled. When it has been reinstalled, I had to reinstall XP as I had no BONES at all. This means that has been reinstalled XP with SP2.   I just recommend to install ATI Chipset + Display Driver V6.14.10.6430 as a first step, before you start to install the other stuff listed. As written Jasmine make sure that you have installed all the Toshiba designed the tools and utilities in the correct order. I think that all the FN functions will not work correctly.

  In some cases, the image file was too big and didn t game on a single disc as a result, you may receive two disks

  Please use the forums for answers.

  We will need a little more information to help you.  What kind of graphics card do you - brand and model?  If you are unsure, you can find by right-clicking on computer, go to properties, click hardware, then Device Manager tab.  Expand the section that says graphics card.  It is the driver, you will need to download - the most recent for your graphics from the site of the manufacturer.

• HP ENVY 17-j005tx Notebook PC: network card wireless Intel N 2230 sporadic but recurrent connection Wi Fi problems. Which driver to use?

  I have an old HP Envy computer of 12 months with a 2230 Intel® Centrino® wireless-N wireless adapter.

  In the last 6 months, the PC has suffered sporadic but recurrent problems of WiFi connection with the failure of the connection or drop-outs. The PC connects to the router, but fails to obtain or maintain an IP address. It has been with Intel driver version 15.12.0.6, pilot day February 25, 2014, installed by Windows Update, on June 16, 2014.

  When I contacted HP support on January 9, 2015, I have been instructed to download the software from the HP Web site. This driver has an HP publication date of 1 November 2013 and installed the driver version 15.10.0.12 with a release date of June 25, 2013.

  Updated Windows ran later that day there and I wanted to install the drivers updated Windows 8.1

  It's very complicated to have the latest version on the Intel site, older versions installed by Microsoft Update and even older versions on the HP website.

  File (WAV) Audio Waveform format is a Microsoft and IBM audio file format standard for storing an audio bitstream on PCs. • Just reinstalled Windows 8, which wiped the drive hard, but now it says my hard drive is using more than half of its capacity, although it should be nearly empty.

  The title says it all.

  I reinstalled windows 8 which apparently erased from my hard drive. After starting my computer upward even once, I noticed that I had free 826GBs of 1.81 on my hard drive (Local disk (c)), even if it should be almost empty. When I pointed out all the contents of my hard drive and go to properties of what he says his only help 114GBs of space, unlike what 'My Computer' told me.

  I noticed that a folder in the drive Local (c) entitled "Windows.old" which has my old program files that would make account 96GBs of used space. I tried to remove that but he told me that I needed permission from the "SYSTEM".
