  The following two services are not on my Windows 2008 x 64 server:

  • VMware VirtaulCenter Web services management

  • VMware Server VirtaulCenter

  What I find weird is that other VMware services are:

  • VMware vCenter Converter Server integrated

  • VMware vCenter Converter worker integrated

  • VMware vCenter Update Manager Service

  I have struct trying to figure this problem on mine.  You guys can provide any help would be greatly appreciated.

  FYI: I connect to a database that is not on this server.

  I would definitley check first newspapers.   They are in c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Logs.   You can also watch the last thing to change.   All services using a service account where a password might have changed?   Any change of SSL certificate?

  We use vCenter Server 5.5.0 build 1476327 installed by using Installation Mode on Windows Server 2008 R2 with SQL 2008 R2. All SSO, inventory service, vcenter, customer web etc, are on the same server.

  VCenter server service is set to automatic (startup type), Local System (connect as). However at the restarting windows server vCenter, vcenter service does not automatically start and it gives error in the vpxd.log below. But if we manually start the services vcenter, it works very well.

• Windows 7 - print spooler starts is not after the October 14 update

  I have a HP pavilian HPE running Windows 7 professional 64-bit.   After that the windows updates were installed on 14 October, the print spooler service does not start.  So yesterday I used the system restore to go back, and the problem was solved.  Today, I removed some old print drivers and re-installed updates, and now the print spooler service does not start again.

  You get an error message when the print spooler service stops?

  Try these steps and see if it helps:

  Step 1: Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard, type services.msc and press enter.

  Step 2: You can get the Print Spooler Service in the window and double-click it.
  Step 3: Check if the Startup type is set to Automatic. If this isn't the case, set it to automatic and restart your PC.
  Step 4: Check if the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically on reboot (given that the startup type is set to automatic).

  Step 5: Also check if the status shows running under the status column in the print spooler service.

  I've set up a new service of database on a cluster of 3 nodes running 11.1.0.6 and I can start service manually without any problem, but if I bounce the database, the database service does not automatically start even if the database is running - what is the procedure to make sure that the service starts automatically with the database?

  I read a lot of posts here and all over the internet about this problem.
  None of them correspond exactly to my concerns and the situation.

  Printer share is my main concern.
  The printer is connected to this computer, and I want to be able to print from other computers.
  I have 2 other computers, both with Windows 7, and they used to be able to print through this computer.

  Test/check I've done:
  I disabled my antivirus/firewall and run SFC. EXE. He has not found any breach of integrity.

  Workstation lists its dependencies such as:
  Bowser (watch is not in the list of services)
   
  Service of Network Interface of store (on the road)

  SMB 1 x Mini Redirector (watch is not in the list of services)

  Netlogon (depending on the workstation)
  Configuration of Terminal Services (depending on the workstation)

  Final note:
  Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator will start, but it is set to manual.

• JDeveloper starts does not after MAF 2.1 update

  12.1.3 JDeveloper / MAF 2.1 / Windows 7 Prof 64 bit / JDK 1.7

  I just updated the MAF from JDeveloper extension (Help - Check for Updates).

  I had earlier version 2.0 of the MAF and it worked very well.

  After this 2.1 update, I was not able to start the JDeveloper. The update succeeded.

  It gives me error when I try to open up JDeveloper below.

  I also tried to remove the "system12.1.3.0.41.140521.1008" folder, but it is still not start.

  I've seen other posts in this forum but some developers could start JDeveloper after the update.

  Can you get it someone please let me know if there is a way to solve this problem?

  Not exactly what goes wrong with your installation.

  In general JDeveloper 12.1.3 must be started with JDK 1.7

  You must also have 1.8 JDK on your machine, and the extension of the MAF will need to know its installed location.

  I suggest that you remove the system12.1.3 directory, and then re - install JDeveloper in a new location.

  When you install JDeveloper, if you use the installer of pot, make sure that start you with JDK 1.7.

  (Should be fine if install you using the exe file).

• First Pro CC2015.2 starts is not after the upgrade

  I'm on WIndows 7 using a Z820 workstation HP with Xeon processors and not updating applications seem to work as expected. PP would load and appear in the Task Manager, but would not load the user interface. AFX seems to hang without any notification. Photoshop does not load the Welcome screen (which could be a new default) and doesn't connect to the libraries. The same Illustrator and seems to crash on quit.

  We followed its not fixed, but the documents mentioned above. And atlast, we solved and fixed problem by following the steps.

  (1) who crashed Apps services.
  (2) the cmclean.sql as a user apps Runned.
  (3) rebounce DB.
  (4) all services started.

• Problem starting wondows Vista after installing updates error code 0 * 80070002.

  I have Vostro1400 from Dell with Windows Vista. After you install the updates recently, the screen is empty. It doesn't show anything except cursor (arrow). Diagnostic equipment doesn't show any problem. Windows does not start in SafeMode also. If I tried to restore from previous restore point then it will display the error code 0 * 80070002.

• I can't start my computer after installing updates to manualling

  This happened almost a year and once from time to time I revisit the issue to see if I can find a solution.

  I tried to download the new version of Windows Live Messenger. Installation did not work because I needed a certain update. This hard drive (I have several) was not install updates for a while. Up to this point, I just thought it was a nuisance, but not a major problem. Because my computer would not install the updates on its own, and I needed a special update for the new Windows Live Messenger, I went online to find the update to install. I got the update ID (I don't remember what it was) so I quickly found and installed. Everything seemed fine until I restarted my computer - or attempted to guess - after installation. My computer won't start. I get a screen asking if I want to start Windows normally or start windows repair.

  Here are some of the things I've tried so far:

  Start Windows normally: a screen comes up saying something about checking the disks and it is recommended that you do not stop the disk check. I do not have anything and immediately it says that the disk check has been arrested. He stays on this screen infinitely - believe me I left on this screen for hours.

  Repair Windows: I used windows repair in the past for other problems and it worked wonderfully. This time I click to run windows repair and I go to a blue screen with the background of the blue sinuous line of vista but there is to this and nothing comes up.

  Safe mode (and any version of safe mode): when starting, I pressed F8 to start the extended options. All safe mode options lead to the same thing. I get a list of drivers and it says please wait... It always gets stuck on \windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys and it is going nowhere.

  I tried almost all the options in the F8 menu and they all be given the normal startup problem or safe mode

  I then tried to do a repair of my disk of vista system. This time - unlike the previous attempt to repair windows - I got the menu normal repair. Unfortunately, the repair "attempted to correct the disk error" during more than 15 hours. I then shut down my computer, once again beaten by my computer.

  I always use this computer with other drives with no problems. Thus, it is certainly a problem on the hard drive and must be associated with the update I installed manually before this problem.

  Since you are unable to boot into safe mode and unable to repair the system, you can try to boot from the Windows Vista disc and try to perform a system restore.

  Method 1: Try to perform a system retsore.

  If you still experience the problem, then try to perform a checkdisk to repair bad sectors on the hard drive.

  You can boot from Vista disk full or to run Checkdsk select command prompt from the System Recovery Options menu.

  a. Insert the installation disc.

  b. restart your computer.

  c. click on the Start button, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart. If you are prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.

  h. close all applications and restart the computer.

  I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your Acer Aspire 2920 Crystal Eye and check if it helps to get the webcam working.

  1. Click Start.

  3. In the list, click on programs and features.
  4. Check the webcam software and uninstall it.
  5. Restart the computer.
