Windows 7 32-bit slow start of blue circle hangs on the network icon in the tray for 10 minutes, some programs don't load until the problem resolves.

Hello world.

It will be long and windy.

I have a problem with my Dell XPS M1530.

im going to write down the details of my question, short first. so if you want you can read my short story on my laptop and I.

  • Slow start.
  • Network at startup initialization problem.
  • Blue circle weighs on my network icon in the taskbar notification for 10 minutes or more. then she disappears with the problem that everything starts to operate correctly.
  • some startup programs do not start until the issue is resolved. (blue circle disappears) i.e. Dell touchpad, magic disc, pda.net and perhaps language bar.
  • programs that have to do with the network or the internet such as IE or center network to hang until the issue is resolved.
  • Some programs won't load if started up that the problem is solved. i.e. open office, cakewalk sonar.

Another thing, I noticed. If I have automatic network connection configuration and the network is in range when I launch firefox I can actually serf the web regardless of the question.

I'm not the only one having this problem, but solutions that work for some do not work for me. some of the things I've tried to understand.

  • has run msconfig to see if it is one of the start up programs or cervix causing the problem. found nothing.
  • has ran the command cmd, I forgot what's it called some thing/something else. It digitizes and restores the registers according to me. did not help
  • Used pc AVG scanner. then corrected all the errors found and the questions. did not help.
  • reinstalled the network drivers. did not help.
  • Ran startup recovery tool to fix problems at the beginning. did not help.
  • Booted up my laptop in SafeMode with network. Works very well

Also, the problem started not with win 7 install I had it on my laptop well before the Enigma.

im running Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. as if lately, about 3 months ago, my laptop started to start slowly and be laggy when the system boots. I have no much attention at first. Since the question does not disappear on its own, I noticed that my network in the notification bar icon has a blue circle probably because its network initialization or loading something that is bound to it something as is. After about 10 minutes the issue resolves itself and everything works fine until I have reboot or restart. also if I put my laptop to sleep when I start it it works fine. I think that the time to resolve that issue got longer it is about 10 min now but it used a lot less. at least that's what I recall. In addition, I noticed a few more things. If I left click on the network icon does nothing when normally it will display network connections. If I right click on it displays troubleshooting and Open Network and Sharing Center. Troubleshooting doesn't help and returns nothing. Network and sharing Center is suspended until the problem resolves. in fact, some programs won't load until it the problem goes away like internet explore, network and sharing virtually Center almost everything what has to do with the network and also other programs that require a little more resources e.g. cakewalk Sonar. In addition, other startup programs and services such as Dell touch pad, magic disk, PDA. NEt don't start until after the problem goes away. What else... the kicker is that while the issue is to present the networks I connect to automatically are in fact very well and I have internet, even though the network is still initializing. what I mean is that if I start my portable firefox and launch (cannot use IE because he hangs up) I can go online and the serf of the web.

Well, I am at a loss and don't know what to do next, except to format and clean install. However, people who did it until the problem was which leads me to believe that this is one of the windows updates may be.

If someone knows how to fix this problem or can give a kind of constructive contribution, I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Kosmosis,

I had the same problem, and after fishing trawl through the web to find answers, this is the most reliable solution that I found. At the very least, it will help to determine where the problem is.

(1) reboot your computer.

(2) go to Run--> services.msc

(3) to sort the list by status (click the heading)

(4) see those blocked at the 'boot '? These are your incriminated objects.

Apparently, Windows has problems initializing services, and until he solves, or give up, he can't go the rest of the startup procedure. Different people get stuck on different things. For me, it was the 'Server' service as jams it for 20 minutes or more.

You have 2 options:

Right click 1)--> properties and change the Startup Type to "automatic (Delayed). This requires to load later, that hopefully allows all the rest at the end of initialization so that you can use the computer first.

(2) read the Description of the service and see if you can find whats causing it to get stuck. In my case, 'Server' rule of network discovery, file sharing and printing. I realized that I UNPLUGGED a NAS from Buffalo, who worked as a print server as well. My windows was blocked to find a printer on a network that was no longer available. Remove the printer from devices solved the problem.

If all else fails, you can always try to disable the service. This is probably not the best reccomendation, like its there for a reason, but it might help you to troubleshoot.

    Hello

    1. Since when are you facing this problem?

    2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    3. do you get any error code or error message while starting?

    I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    If you have not tried the steps in the following Microsoft article, then try to clean boot and check if it helps.

    How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Note: Once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 7: to reset the computer as usual.

    Method 2:

    Step 1:

    If the problem persists, you can create a new user account and check what is happening. To create a new user account

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/create-a-user-account

    Step 2:

    If the new user account works fine then the old account has been corrupted, you can follow the link given below to fix the corrupted user profile.

  • Windows 7 64 bit MCE Spinning question blue circle

    OS: Windows 7 64 bit on my HTPC.

    MediaBrowser running inside MCE for the Organization and appearance of my HTPC

    We leave the HTPC on 24/7.  If we look at a movie on the HTPC, it works perfectly.  If we close not the film down and leave running, next time we try to watch a movie or do whatever it is we get the blue circle without end ring that turns and continues to turn until we completely stop/restart the computer.  Just out of MCE and MediaBrowser does not help.  A reboot is required.  We have posted this question in the forum of MediaBrowser and they said it's a MCE/Windows problem... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

    Thanks for asking!

    When you watch movies in the HTPC (Home Theater PC), the system crashes.

    The problem occurs all using the standard video option or only when you use the tile MediaBrowser?

    Third-party programs may cause the problem.

    To check, I suggest you to put the computer in a clean boot state and check the cause of the issue.

    Clean boot:

    When the computer starts to boot, programs non-Microsoft will not be started and would avoid any interruption of their share.

    Check out the link:

    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Note: once you are done with the boot, follow step 3 in the article to restore your computer to normal startup.

    Note: If in case, you are connected via a connection wireless, and then when you start the System Configuration utility to perform the clean boot, click Startup and Services tab one time and check wireless see corresponding section are checked (enabled).

    I hope this helps. If the problem persists, or if you need help with any problem of Windows to the future, let us know and we would be happy to help you.

  • Visual C++ 2010 Express on Windows 7 64-bit slows everything

    Hello

    After suffering for a week, I can find no clear response from everyone and decided to seek the help of this community. I am trying to do the work of development using Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express. I recorded my Visual C++ so that it works without obvious interruption. When I am trying to build my code in Visual C++ Express, it slows down the normal behavior of my machine. For example, a browser window or a file browser explore (My Computer) takes about 20 seconds to appear after clicking. The volume control bar takes forever to pop up. I followed the process on the Task Manager window, but nothing is abnormal, and memory consumption is well below the red line. More important still, this happens whenever I try to work in C++. Do not do Java (Java obviously has its own virtual machine so everything goes not on a virtual computer died there too; does not affect the machine). The only problem I managed to isolate is probably the 64-bit windows.
    I've been Googling for an acceptable answer but can't find anything. People are formulating opinions ranging from the instruction sets at low altitude on the PC with the ambiguity of high-level code. I don't know what on Earth is wrong. I have core i5, Memory Cache L3, 8 GB of RAM and 500 GB HARD drive. This cannot be a problem of the standard of PC...

  • Explore Windows 7 64 bit slow loading screen and windows welcome does not

    Hello guys :D

    I had this problem yesterday and look really weird because I use several method to solve for 'Blocking with the Welcome screen' or 'Windows Explorer is not responding. So here's the problem:
    As I said, I had the windows with the "Welcome" screen stucks But some time later, about 15 minutes that it full load. Well, THIS IS more BIG PROBLEM: my office was black with my cursor! About 10 minutes, this return to normal, BUT the icons are not loaded. And when I click on any folder or right click of mouse, WINDOWS EXPLORER IS NOT the ANSWER (error status code c0000185 InPageCoFire) and need to restart. I restart and once again, does not. My laptop is now like that, turn on, wait 15 minutes and watch "Windows Explorer is not responding" and turns off.
    It makes me really mad. So I really appreciate for your help. Sorry if this question was asked before

    Uh, seems to be still the gel, you can try another way! Enter again the Advanced Boot Options, then choose 'Safe Mode'. Your loading windows basic drivers and services that could help you get into the windows desktop without encountering any problems. Once you're in safe mode, tap Start menu and search for "cmd". Right-click on 'cmd' and select them "run as Administrator". When the command prompt appears, check your disk file system error hard by typing "chkdsk c: /f" (do not type the quotation marks) if "c:" is a drive letter on your Windows 7. Restart your computer, and it checks file system of the disk for errors. When the analysis was finished and reboot, re-enter the Advanced Boot Options, choose "Safe Mode" again. And then open command prompt with administrator, and then type this command "sfc/scannow" (do not type the quotation marks). SFC (System File Checker) can check your file system were healthy or not. Wait until after the analysis. Then, restart your computer. If these tips don't help, update your status question. :)

    Safari. When opening a site, the page frequently does not. The blue progress bar moves about half way and then stops. I can get to move usually by reloading the page, but it's slow and frustrating.

    It does occur on a particular site. Now, it seems to be fairly general.

    WiFi is good so I don't think that's the problem.

  • I am unable to get the computer manufacturer to send the disc to reinstall Vista. I tried to do this task almost 3 weeks. I need to reinstall Vista so that I can upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit. Please help me. I have the product code.

    I mistakenly installed the 32-bit version of Windows 7, and I try to install the 64-bit version.  Info on other forums says there is no way to do it without a disk... I do not have with the computer.

    To go from 32 bit to 64 bit, you have to do with a FULL 64-bit version, by performing a clean install. so I don't see what the problem on Vista reinstall is.

    Unless you have Vista 64 bit, it will not help you upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit.

    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  • Windows 7 pro 64-bit slow start up AND slow reinstall

    So I get up in the morning, play my usual MMO... which is actually in beta at the moment. But I had to leave and I left my computer running. I come home after 6 hours or more, and it is completely off. Mind you, I have sleep mode and never close under the power management settings. I use a computer tailor-made with Asus M5a87(I think that's correct), AMDphenom ii x 6, 4GBx2 ddr3 am3 (8) and (don't laugh) ati radon hd5550 1 GB video card. I bought the motherboard, processor, RAM and HD (1 to) all at once on a year and a half. I overclocked my video card, but only a little bit to where he barely makes a difference.

    in any case, I come back home and my computer is turned off. I have a protecter surge, not this old dusty or hottest with other cards. I turn it back on and I'm greeted by a bunch of 1.5 hours to the top. At the time where I'm not even on the desktop, I am then greeted with a Standard gray windows task bar and all programs, including the start menu, are super slow and the gel to the top. Imagine that Windows 2000. I try to turn it off properly but who ends up being an endless cycle, so I invited a closed group. I've put it back later on, once again super slow. White/black menu appears asking if I would try startup repair. Don't know why not? It takes so all night. Nothing is 'evil' with the commissioning. So I pop in my Windows 7 cd and I boot from the CDROM. I try to run from the cd startup repair. Same results. I start from the CD, this time trying to restore a few weeks a "last known good configuration". Yet once, lasts approximately 5 hours and ends by saying that it cannot be restored. I try later. Once again, impossible to restore. So, today, I get home from work, thinking I'll just do a fresh install. I travel by this new facility and then this, once again, is super slow. It was "Expanding Windows files" for 3 hours and I'm still at 31%. I'm sorry. I happened to test both RAM sticks, they are Kingston HyperX series. (One out and try one at a time). If ever, I can't get it on my desk, I can never understand if its my processor which really slows things to the top or not. I can't on the desktop. So any help I can use inside the Bios would be nice LOL.

    I would like to close my question as "answered". 'S done it, the hard drive that was fried. So I hope that this question will in the future to help other people.

  • Chinese PC troubleshooting Windows 7 32-bit slow and random freezes

    A user has a Windows 7 PC from Dell's traditional Chinese version.

    During the investigation into his slow and problem of slow performance (random freezes), I tried running sfc/scannow in command prompt. However the command stopped at 56% with an error message regarding the protection of resources (sorry it's in Chinese), so the sfc has not completed.

    When I tried to start Windows in safe mode, the options menu advanced boot could not be considered. It was only a black screen. Clues? Someone has already tried to uninstall the antivirus software. User customer a lotus notes 8.5 is installed.

    People, I thought that random freezing is caused by a failing hard drive, so we replaced the material.

    Thanks for reading.

  • Satellite U940 Windows 10 update, very slow start to the top

    Hello

    It looks after upgrade to win10, the SSD is not used to quickly boot up the laptop.
    How can this problem be solved?

    In tools, defragment disc, it shows all of my partitions as SSD drive so I can't defragment.
    Why are they displayed as SSD? I think that the basic motivation is a 500 gb HHD and only a 32 GB SSD is included.

    Also in the management of the computer disk SSD drive shows only 11.22 GB of capacity and is not used (all 11.22 GB free)

    Help, please. I want to get the quick start of the win8.1 and at the same time be able to defragment my HARD drive.
