Windows 7 activation error ""you can be a victim of software counterfeiting. " This copy of windows is not genuine. »

Original title: Windws claims key is no longer valid.

Windows worked fine, but suddenly I started to get a notification sayingyou may be victim of software counterfeiting. This copy of windows is not genuine. "I've had my laptop for about four years, and as I understand it, the windows license is not supposed to run out for as long as my laptop is functional. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may cause this problem? Or am I actually supposed to renew my license windows after a few years?

I tried various other suggestions, but none have worked. For example, many places would you delete the ""wgatray.exe ' file in Task Manager, but the file does not exist. " I also tried to enter my product key, but instead, I get an error code: 0xc004f063. Please help me.

Try the following:

Click Start, right click on computer

Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click on the link 'change product key '.

Enter the product key located on the COA sticker attached to the bottom of your laptop or in the battery compartment. Click next to activate via the Internet.

You use a license key in Volme - and this key usage has been limited to one region, probably because the owner of the key or MS has noticed that the key was abused, but the owner has too many devices in this area to be able to easily change the key or the operating system on all, so they opted for the more expensive option.

If you are a member of this organization, contact your system administrator - if not, then your installation is a counterfeit.

It seems that your machine came with a version of Windows installed - for which version and edition of Windows is allowed, according to the COA sticker on the case?

  • You may be a victim of software counterfeiting error

My father had the same Dell computer for a couple of years now and never had a problem with the license.  Now, we get the error for counterfeit software.  The Windows updates won't run no more, and go to the posting form led to an offer to purchase for Windows 7.

I tried uninstall for December 2014 patch, such as recommended in other posts on this subject and that has not worked for me.

  • Lost Windows 7 Activation, get the message this copy of Windows is not genuine

I took computer at Staples after I turned off my computer when Windows 10 attempted to settle without my consent.  I lost everything, but the Staples technicians have been able to get all the return after a "factory reset".  Now 30 days after I plugged everything back up and reinstall all my software, I get message "this copy of Windows is not genuine".  Also the popup that says: "you can be a victim of software counterfeiting."  I called Staples and they said ' don't not to reply to the message to repair Windows and it's probably a scam ', and I had to bring my new computer (I is not happy that Staples course does not resolve Windows 7 in the first place because I now get these warnings).  My question is: can I trust the message that says to go on this web site to repair Windows?  Also, after the upgrade to Windows 10 for a long time, I am now wants to just go ahead if it makes me this problem... How do I do that?

How to: fix Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 active or true reports after cancellation of Windows 10

  • "After the start of my PC, I get the message" you may be victim of software counterfeiting ".

It happened two days earlier. When I start my PC, my desktop wallpaper becomes black and I get the message that is mentioned in the question. Please help me get rid of this problem.

    Thank you
