    The installation is a counterfeit.

You have an OEM_SLP installed, which is ONLY valid when preinstalled by the manufacturer - your machine was built 2 years until Windows 7 came out and cannot support such a key.

There is an Activation exploit current in an attempt to circumvent the Activation and Validation of requirements.

You must reformat and reinstall using authentic materials and key.

you need to change your product key to the one on your COA
Click Start, type slui 3, press on enter

    Additional information:

Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:

OEM SLP: This key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)

COA SLP: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or at the bottom, [or in the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but must be used only in certain situations (for example, if the OEM SLP key stops automatic activation for a reason any). The key must be activated by phone. (Note: all manufacturers that use the SLP OEM system are bound by contract to include a certificate of Authenticity sticker (COA), which has a COA SLP key, on the computer)

  • Windows Vista does not boot, black screen after "windows loading files...". »

I have a laptop HP Pavilion dv2000, it came with windows vista, so I don't have a boot disk. When I try to start it, it will say "windows loading files...". "with a bar, once the bar is loaded it will say microsoft Corp. (with the copyright symbol) and another bar with a bar made up of three small bars of loading through it, once that is done, it will show a black screen. I have installed recent updates and I can't access the restore mode or security system.

    Hello

The possible fix is the same that you can not boot the system currently.

You need to make a computer repair/restore on another disc, borrow a friends Windows disk.
or buy one from the manufacturer of the system. See the methods in BOLD above which also shows how
a repair/recovery disk which is bootable.

It may not be repairable by a user and the help of a real store of the computer (no leeks and peaks at)
a BestBuy or other BigBox stores) or Support from HP is required.

Rob Brown - MS MVP - Windows Desktop Experience: Bike - Mark Twain said it right.

  • Windows 8 will not start black screen.

It has been three days, I've tried everything I can find. I start my computer, I see the screen with the icon where you sigh, it loads and I get a black screen with a mobile cursor.

Any help I see is to go to this or that on desktop and run everything that... I CAN'T go to my office. I can't start a backup drive (managed to get a copy, because the computer did not come with one) without getting through desktop Start menu. I can't do it in safe mode without going through the menu through my office... What am I supposed to do when ALL I get is a black screen? No amount of ctrl + alt + del or restart lead me anywhere I try to reboot and I'm frozen on a blue screen that says loading. I hard reboot and I'm back to the black screen.
I would just reinstall, but the computer came preloaded so I don't have the keys.
    Someone help me please!
F8 and all other combos keys that I found online, do nothing, pull up no menus, still called gateway and they said tapping deletes during the power upward would pull up the menu bridge... nothing.

Well, I discovered something that many people do not know apparently. I called gateway and he was telling me what to do, get a crazy thought I was doing it wrong. All I had to do was press DELETE to get their menu upwards, but every time I did it I did have 'no signal' on my screen. After a huge clothing "Yes, my screen is plugged! When I don't type at least something shows to the top, etc etc... "he gave up and told me to drop it.

What I realized: you can't get through all the menus with a connected graph card. I don't know why I didn't think, in retrospect, that should be obvious, at least to a person in the forums help much, I went.
If you have a similar problem make sure that you are using onboard graphics (which means completely disconnect all other cards manually). Only then can come bios.
Arrived, made a fast start, has managed to get malwarebytes running and had 11 malicious files. How my boyfriend or I took those up is still a mystery, it's funny I did some quick tests every morning and they come clean. Guess I have to do a full analysis more often.
  • Windows XP starts with a black screen and hangs for two minutes before the end of the boot process.

Original title: Windows xp slow at startup delayed to the office after you download the updated April 8,2011

    Hi kaeli,.

    ·         Have you checked the problem in safe mode?

Step 1: Try to start in safe mode to see if you can start fine.

Step 2: If he is able to start fine then try try perform a clean boot to normal mode to check whether a third-party program is causing the problem.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

You can also read the following article to resolve the problems on the issue.

  • Windows 7 starts problems with black screen and the cursor because of power failure

I'm on a Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium OS. Start-up problems arose after the power failure (accidentally unplugged the charger, the battery was not in place) during a video call in Skype. Accessories attached to the laptop at the time were a Logitech Webcam, a dongle Bluetooth, microphone and headphones.

When starting my laptop Asus N81VP, he'll go as far as the 'Starting Windows' logo, then I meet a black screen with a mobile cursor. I don't then right click, CTRL + ALT + DELETE.

    I tried the things:

Start Up Repair = "cannot automatically repair."

System Restore = no available restore points

Windows Memory Diagnostic = at 100%, no screen of detected problems, then black with mobile cursor

Networking Mode Safe Mode/Safe = black screen with cursor mobile

Activate video low resolution (640 x 480) = black screen with cursor mobile

Good known Configuration = black screen with cursor mobile list

Start Windows normally = black screen with cursor mobile

Please help me. I've had this laptop for less than a year, and it would break my heart to have to re - format.

You seem to have exhausted most of the options available in such cases, except two:
D ' log in under a different account.
-To restore your registry files manually. See below for more details.

On your heart that could get broken: have you considered using the imaging facility that is integrated with Windows 7? You can find it in the control panel / backup and restore. This is somewhat marginal in the feature and it can be finicky, but it saved my butt several times.

You can restore your registry files manually to a previous point through the steps described below. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. Note that it may reset your password to a previous value.

    DIR C:\Win*
    Dir D:\Win*
    dir E:\Win*

    I'll call this "Q:" drive

    xcopy *. * Q:\MyRegBack\
    CD RegBack
    dir
    8. review the dates of the software, system, and SAM files. The files created before or after that is your problem?
    9. If they were made before the problem appeared, you can then type these commands:
    copy software / y...
    /y copy system...
    /y copy Sam...
(the two points are part of each order)
    10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\MyRegBack to Q:\Windows\System32\config.

  • After using a third party partition manager program left to extend my Windows 8 partition, the system of Windows 8 start to a black screen and Windows 8 partition of the drive letter has changed

Original title: problems of Windows 8

I have Windows 7 (32 bit) and Windows 8 (64-bit) is installed in a dual boot. I tried to extend the partition of Windows 8 with a third party partition manager. Subsequently, I restarted after having learned so much.

Later, the first thing I saw was that the locked screen image is replaced by a blue color. Photos of the user are also missing. Once connected, it took a long time for windows everything ready, and I'm stuck in a black screen with the mouse pointer.

I entered in Safe Mode and found that the drive for Windows 8 letter has been changed (C: = Windows 7;) D: = recovery partition; E: = Windows 8, new drive letter; F: = Windows 8, old drive letter), I tried to change the drive letter, but it does not work.

Partition of Windows 7 works well (it is what I currently use to put this problem), and I can access the data in the partition of Windows 8. I tried the methods of different repair without result (such as chkdsk and sfc/scannow).

Can someone help me with this please? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

I understand that you have a problem of black screen with Windows 8 and the drive letter for the partition of Windows 8 is also changed. This problem is due to the use of the third party partition manager program because it affects the registry files and causes the instability of the system.

Try to run auto repair from the Windows recovery environment and check if that helps.

Method 1: start the recovery environment with installation of Windows 8 media.

It is another way to boot the PC and launch recovery tools when something goes wrong with the operating system.

Please follow the steps below. Insert the DVD to install Windows 8 on DVD-ROM and restart your computer.

    (a) once you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.

    (b) select the good time and the type of keyboard .

    (c) click on repair your computer in the lower left corner.

    (d) select Troubleshooting to Choose an option screen.

    (e) click on advanced options in Troubleshooting screen.

    (f) click Auto repair of Advanced Options screen.

    (g) following, choose the operating system by clicking on its button.

    (h) Windows 8 will be looking for problems on the hard drives and verify that all required files are intact.

Method 2: Run the restoration of the system of the Advanced Options screen.

System Restore to restore your computer to a previous state, quickly and easily without losing any of your files and personal settings. Sometimes when you install programs or drivers, they can affect some system settings and prevent other programs to function properly. You can use system restore to restore these settings to their previous state

    Follow these steps:

    (a) once you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.

    (b) select the good time and the type of keyboard .

    (c) click on repair your computer in the lower left corner.

    (d) select Troubleshooting from the Choose an option screen.

    (e) click on advanced options in Troubleshooting screen.

    (f) select System restore.

After the system restore your documents and files will always remain to their previous state.

If you do not install Windows 8 media, I suggest you connect to any other computer and create a floppy disk to install Windows 8. Using this disk, you can run the troubleshooting provided methods.

How to create the installation media for a PC refresh or reset:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

You can also try the same steps using the bootable USB key. You must select USB as the first boot to the BIOS device.

Note: Microsoft don't recommend any third-party partition manager program because it corrupts the registry files and cause the instability of the system.

Write to us if you're still having problems. We will help you.

    I have a Satellite L300-1AP model no PSLB8E.

I can switch off and restart it, will begin to start, then exactly the same thing happening.

    > pressing the zero key "0" turn on the power, when you see a white bottom bar and hear a glance release the Zero key and it should start installation or reinstallation of your system

I doubt it will work because this function is NOT implemented on Toshiba notebooks European but as I know about the series of notebook Toshiba U.S.!

You can try to press the F8 key. An option called fix my computer should then be visible. Select it, then choose Toshiba HDD Recovery. Then a HARD drive recovery procedure must begin.

But if it of not possible to choose this option, and then you take your recovery disk and must try to boot from it.
If you don t have a recovery disk, and then use a CD of original installation MS windows, or you can order a new disc of recovery from here:

That sounds like a hardware error and you need a real computer store (no leeks and glances at a BestBuy or)
