Windows 7 cannot find the HP network printer to install.

Original title: windows network printer problem 7 and HP

I just bought a new computer with windows 7.  I have a HP printer connected hard wire t my verizon router.  My old computer running windows xP can find the printer on the network wireless.  My new computer running windows 7 sitting right next to him does not have the printer to install.  I had HP tech support those who are working on this for many hours and they cannot understand it.  I need help with that.  How to get windows 7 to see the printer.  How can you help me?

It is rare that there is no option to specify an address

Now that you know the address of printers, you can successfully ping it?

  • Moved from Office Windows 7 from one room to the other and now it cannot find the wireless network

    Hello world

I have a HP Pavilion running Windows 7.

He was hooked through the ethernet in a single room.

I moved it to another room where there was no inflexible access, so I relied on the use of our wireless network.

Now, the computer will not even find the wireless network.  When I have the help, it says "no available connection."

In the center of the network, selecting wireless has a red X to the left of the green signal bars.

At first, I wondered if maybe the computer was in a "dead point" in our House, but I've put a laptop beside him and he found the thin wireless network.

    Any help?

Update: I tried system restore and tried to stop/resume knowledge network locations, but to no avail.

Here is the info on my card wireless directly from HP site:

Original driver for the solutions of Dualband network Atheros 802.11 Wireless Module a/b/g/n.

I found what I think, it's their website, (http://www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-drivers.php), but surprise... they only model # s, my info does not.  Ugh.

  • Cannot find the Adobe PDF printer

I'm trying to convert a Word document to PDF by right-clicking a Word document and it saying to convert to Adobe PDF. I get the error message "cannot find the printer 'Adobe PDF' or"Acrobat Distiller". You want to run the installer in repair mode? "I try to run the repair mode and it will work the repair mode, but nothing changes. Also, I used to have an Adobe tab in my Microsoft Word program, but it's over. All these problems started when I got a new computer that is running Windows 7. Any idea on how to solve this problem? Now I'll have to use PDF Complete, but I prefer to use my Adobe!

No, but you may need to do some work to get AA8 to work on your system. The first step is to update, currently in 8.3.1 (you have 8.0.0 that maybe your problem). AA8 is not certified for use on Win7, but several people have managed to make him run. However, you may encounter hickups sometimes even if it runs. In the meantime, try to open the document in WORD and print it on the Adobe PDF printer. If it works, you have at least one method of production.

The next step is to understand why PDF Maker does not work. To do this, open the document in WORD, and make sure that the Adobe menu appears. In WORD 2007, it will probably be the right most of the Acrobat named menu item (which is on my WORD 2007 with AA8 system, although this is a VISTA machine). If this menu does not appear, then the macro from Adobe in WORD must be enabled.

If the printer is not running, then the additional work is needed. Let us know what is the current state, and then we can go from there.

I triend manually configure the network using the SSID and key phrases, but still nothing.

    Help!

I would like to perform a hard reset by removing the power of the whole machienethrough the power cord for 30 seconds. Depending on whether I have would reconnect the printer to the wireless network and set a static IP address.

  • Windows 8 cannot find the printer

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8610 (Network) wireless use Windows 8.  When I click on print the 8610 is selected, but it says that it can't find it.  I then click the printer usually following the HP ePrint and turns.  I can then select the 8610 and considers that it is and can print.  Even if he can find all the other printers, I can't print from any of them.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

Thank you for details on the issue.

This problem can occur because the printer settings, network or home group corrupt or incorrect.

I suggest you to run the troubleshooters homegroup and printer and check. Please follow these steps:

    a. press Windows + C keys and click on Search.
    b. type Troubleshooting in the search box and click on it in the search results.
    c. click on "display all" and then click "homegroup".
    d. click on 'Next' and follow the on-screen instructions.

Later, you can choose "printer" instead of "homegroup".

  • 5525 printer cannot find the wireless network

    Help

I'm not good with technical stuff and need help with this problem.  Printer works well before going on holiday - power off, including the CISCO router when we went away--returned and turned on any return, printer will not connect to the router again.

Have reinstalled router without result.  All other computers, phones, etc. to connect to the router fine.

Wireless network test that the MAC address filtering is enabled, they suggest however have checked this and it's not.

Wireless configuration wizard can find the network but it just seems impossible to connect to him.

Please assume the lowest level of technical understanding when you reply!

    Thank you

    Hi K27,.

I see that you are having some problems getting your Photosmart 5525 reconnected to your network after just unplugging a bit. I understand that you have your information wirelessly, but I don't want to set a link here which will take you to our HP print and doctor Scan, which can help you check some things on the wireless network.

Since you already feed the router to bike, I would recommend restoring the default values of network on the front panel of the printer. You'll want to have your printer on the home screen (should say Photo, Apps and copy). On this screen you want to touch the key/tool icon in the upper right corner, then you want to click on wireless and made scroll down looking for default network. Once you click on that it will ask if you are sure and you want to say Yes. Once that is done, I would recommend the router/printer power cycling tips that were previously provided and then run the wireless configuration that you've been already and it should be able to connect at this time.

That should hopefully fix it for you, so let me know what happens and I wish you a nice day!

  • Windows 8 cannot find the printer Canon MF4350D driver

    Separated from this thread.

Hello.  Thanks for the links and the response of the second person.

I'm also trying to get my Canon MF4350d printer to work with Windows 8.1.  I downloaded Canon drivers and install them.  My computer says my printer does not work properly and the driver software is updated.  But it still does not print.  The computer says "error" when I press print. When I use the troubleshooting, he said that the problem is a document it the print queue.  Well, it is the document that I am trying to print.  Any ideas?  I'm about to throw my computer Windows 8 by the window.  I can't afford another printer!

I'm running into a problem with my B209a find a wireless network.  I'm not well versed in wireless/network please bare with me.   I have an iMac with OS X 10.8.2.  Recently, I upgraded my router to an Airport Extreme.  My Mac can see the printer correctly, however, the printer cannot now see the network.  Airport utility, I see all our appliances listed under wireless clients and an IP address without a name (printer?).  Doesn't look like not to add manually wireless clients is no longer an option.

The wireless is configured with WPA/WPA2 Personal Security.  The radio is set to 802. 11A / n - 802.11b/g/n (automatic).  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?  Thank you.

    1. Printer, restore the configuration of the network printer.
    2. Turn on the radio to the printer.
    3. From your Mac, connect to the network printer called hpsetup.
    4. Open Safari and select Bookmarks-> Show all bookmarks.
    5. Select Hello on the left.  Your printer should appear in the main window of Safari.
    6. Double-click the printer.  The printer's internal web page should appear.
    7. The Green Network on the printer web page tab.
    8. Select Wireless (802.11) on the left

  • HP Officejet 4620: Office Windows 10 connects to the wireless network printer but do not print

I have a HP Officejet 4620 all-in-one that I try to use with my desktop computer. The printer has been added to my home network, and I added the printer to my computer via the tab "Devices" Control Panel settings, but when I try to print, nothing happens. The printer icon appears in the bottom right of the task bar that says the printer has "0 documents pending. Strangely, another computer in the office at home, also running Windows 10, can connect and no problem printing to the printer. I tried to install/reinstall the drivers, reset my computer, reconnect with and without a cord USB, and none of this helps. Any ideas on how to solve the problem? My computer was running on Windows 7 until this month when I updated for Windows 10, so I don't know if it's part of the problem or not.

  • Windows Installer cannot find the "Crusher".

How can I get rid of these annoying errors on windows install, impossible to find the "Crusher?

The first message appears usually when I try to start a program or shut down the computer, 'Shredder.  Error 1706.  Valid any source not found for the mill product.  Windows Installer cannot continue. "If I click OK it starts a series of Wintows with"Please wait while we configure Shredder. "Come then:"the component you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or another removable disk that is not available.  Insert the disc of "Destroyer" and click OK. "(I have no such disc.)  and "the path '1' is not found."  It's the bottom of the rabbit hole and I click on CANCEL.  No harm, no fault.  I learned to, click CANCEL has the first appearance of this embarrassing sequence of messages and as if I knew what I was doing.

If someone out there REALLY knows how to "fix" this?

    Proudcon.

Its caused by a third party utility that you have installed, possibly a maintenance utility

  • [SOLVED] Cannot add the Vista network printer

    Hello!

I have a Kyocera FS1118MFP of k-x installed in a XP machine and shared with other computers.

I installed it successfully in other XP machines, but I'm not able to do so in all Vista machines...

    I already formatted Vista.

    I have the following settings:

-The discovery of the network: WE

    -Value private network

    -File sharing: WE

    -Public folder sharing: WE

    -Password protected: OFF

I've run the wizard for XP network enabled file and printer sharing and then restarted.

I put the same workgroup for Vista and then restarted.

I don't have any of the following AVs installed:

I.S. Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro or Kaspersky

I downloaded the drivers from kyocera and installed on Vista and tried to add the printer again...

Nothing seems to work. Please help me...

Already done that it did not work...

    Found another solution but...

The printer has an ethernet port. Connected that to the router, then install the drivers and successfully detected and installed the printer...
