Windows 7 crashes as computer starts

Just came across a problem on my laptop today... it starts very well, from quickly... but once it's usual with my background and others, on-screen he stated that Windows froze and it looked like for all the problems and I have to restart. He did this and returned on the property. But I ran my check of computer problem and he said he might have to with the fact that the programs automatically start as starting the computer (not the exact words) upward. My best guess is that might have to do with the Apple programs, given that I had problems with my computer hooked to closed due to them before.

Don't know what that might be, is the last thing that I have installed the latest updates from Microsoft. Unless there is a problem with the edits themselves, I have no idea of what might happen and what (if any) I could do about it.

I don't think that it is a virus, spyware or malware, because I've been keeping up to date with regard to analyses and things seem to be clean in this area.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: Just anti-virus scan, and he says that the archive is protected, so it cannot parse the files (which are almost associate flashplayer). Which is insane, because none of my friends are.

Edit, Edit: Just did a reboot, and everything loaded normally, after I had selected, everything that that is Apple.

Edit, Edit, Edit: You have a reboot and it is loaded normally as well. I think he may have had something to do with the Apple programs. Will keep an eye on it, just to make sure.

Hello

We appreciate that you tried to perform some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. As the problem will not occur after that apple disabling related services, you can reinstall the software from apple, then check if the problem persists.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium x 64: activation of the service Windows Update crashes my computer after upgrade RAM

A few days ago I had two sticks of 2 GB GSkill RAM by mail. Here's the same brand, model and size as the pair currently installed (obviously). (Sticks alternate according to the specifications of the card from my mother)

After you have installed the new RAM and the computer starts up, it freezes within about 30 seconds of connection. Before installing the new sticks, I had no problem whatsoever.

My first thought is that I sit the RAM properly, then I go and reinstall it. I start, and the same thing happens.

So obviously this RAM must be bad, right? When I take out news, not gel. Ah, but when I remove the OLD stuff and use new instead, I ALSO no gel. So maybe it is not the RAM.

Then I reboot in safe mode. No gel. Interesting. I opened the window 'System' and it says "memory (RAM) installed: 4.00 GB ', which is correct." I opened CPU - Z, and it reports also 4 GB of memory. I run a few hours and have no problems whatsoever. So I say to myself, there must be either a Windows service or a 3rd party service is causing the issue and not the new RAM.

I disable all services of 3rd parties and restart in normal mode. It freezes. OK, so maybe (though unlikely) I have a virus any (I say probably not because I have to) run the module additional firefox NoScript, and set to block all flash, javascript, xss, iframes, etc. - in other words, only allow to my whitelist and B) I have Windows Firewall and running McAffee and updated.). But I decided to first try Windows services for the hell of it.

So I enable only the services that start in safe mode as my reference, disabling the rest via services.msc. I start normally and not gel. Great, then maybe it is a Windows service. I start which allows one service after another without any problem. I get to the bottom of the list and select the Windows Update service. Within literally 10 seconds my computer crashes. Large.

As a validation test, I put all services back to the base line of safe mode and only allow Windows Update. I start normally, and again once it freezes.

Another test of validation, I start with all normal, but disable Windows Update. Do not freeze. I'm going to start Windows Update. Yet once, it freezes for about 10 seconds. So clearly something is in place.

As a third and final sanity check, I remove the new RAM and run a Windows Update. He finds a few optional updates, but not critical. My system is up2date.

My only attempt to solve this problem so far was to backup all Windows Update DLLs (C:\windows\system32\wu*.dll, although I don't know if these are good) and do a scan sfc to replace them with copies of 'good '. It did not work.

    So my question is:

Why cares Windows Update that I have 4 GB of memory installed?

    Thank you

    Jon

    1. I 'upgraded' from the RC of Windows 7 x 64 for Win 7 x 64 Home Premium.

    2. I use McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0i, DAT version 6060, Scan Engine 5400.1158

    3 No.

    4. No, I put together this computer myself.

I think the USB storage is a separate issue. And.

I think I * may * have solved the problem of origin with one or more of the following (don't know who):

    • Updated the software of the chipset of the card from my mother.
    • Updated HD Windows audio drivers to the recommended ASUS (Realtek) HD audio drivers
    • Updated since Windows installed NVIDIA display drivers for version NVIDIA WHQL.
    • Increased my tRFC (refresh time of line) to 70 52 clocks clocks. Set my GSKILL DRAM voltage recommended by 2.1V. Off the SPD DRAM configuration (I read that ASUS is not entirely based on the SPD and can affect things on its own).

I had WU for 20 minutes from writing this post without a freeze, so we'll see. (Previously, it would freeze within 10 seconds of turning on WU)

  • Just how I'm a veteran disabled in a Veterans Administration Hospital is going to be able to keep your windows 7 crashes my computer

Just how I'm a veteran disabled in a Veterans Administration Hospital course in order to keep your windows 7 locking up my computer and putting pop ups all over my screen. I have a Toshiba 1 years with a broken modem computer and so I can never go online to validate and it locked up my computer, so I bought a new better version of Windows 7 called the PRO version to replace Home Premium and now he is locked up, saying that it is not authentic. I'm starting to hate you - all at Microsoft as MY only time spent here has been playing games on this new computer with broken modem. My wife who lives in Texas bought this thing so since I am in Tennessee she can't stop. Here is my email address I want one of you, acquisition cards fresh rich to do something before going on facebook with my old to old to play dell games and tell the world how you - all to former fighter in this country now. E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

I ordered my Windows 7 PRO to Microsoft online of my old Dell, but he wasn't a download, and they should have sent me the numbers with my new box product, but they did not. Microsoft online sent what they thought was my internet address, but I could not see any emails, so they have my money and are happy and I have a piece of plastic and no numbers and I am not happy.

I suggest you hop on the Microsoft Store website and check your order history.  It should show what you ordered there.  You can post exactly (copy and paste) that you have ordered from here here (do not include product key.)

I assume that you chose "ship" among three given choices:

    1. DOWNLOAD + backup drive (add $14.95)
    2. Download
    3. Ship it

I'm not sure how they handle that - but I guess that they * could * keep your product key handy in line as well (since you suggest they we sent to you) and if that's true, then maybe you can retrieve your product key from the same web page, different link.

You said that they you sent product key, if I understand, but you have never...  I would ask them to do it again and check the address that they gave to their first record.  I stay on the phone with them while they sent and no crashes until you get the key to product by e-mail.

    • Dial the 1-800-MICROSOFT (1-800-642-7676) for technical support of the product in person, or
    • Call 1-877-MY-MSSTORE (1-877-696-7786) relating to your order of Microsoft US Store and get help with downloading and installing the software

I'd be surprised if the area they've sent you did not have a product key.  Maybe they do this now to prevent hackers down the product keys for good boxes they ship - but... it would be a little 'out there' for me.

On (in fact) that box of yours, I think that you should have:

    and

So you're saying that none of these things are there?  If they don't ship their software with the product key, I can see the second is not inside the box - but the first should definitely be there.

If all else fails - perhaps you should return; Although since you opened the box - you can not qualify. They can make an exception; all you can do is ask.

I had this problem too. He has not happened since I disabled the new message alerts (not only sounds, but the popup and tray icon). rcharlie, I think your problem is different. I helped someone a few hours ago with similar symptoms where helped to disable alerts. And then, we determined that alerts could be activated IF we have disabled hardware acceleration to tools | options | Advanced | in general.

Yes. Or rather, the test message, I sent with hardware accel disabled and alert activated has not crashed the computer. Will update if it crashes again.

Whenever I load my games that all crash after 5-10 min I have all new drivers and all games are compatible... PLEASE TELL ME WAT I'M DOING

    Hi LZYGA09,

1 you get an error message before or after that you get the black screen?

You can try the following workaround to find the root cause of the problem:

Please check if you are facing the same question when working in safe mode.
    Step 1.
    1. reboot your computer.
    2. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows 7 Advanced Startup Options.
    3. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode safe.
    4. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start in safe mode of Windows 7.
    5. when Windows starts, you will be at a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Windows 7 goes into safe mode.
6 do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

    Step 2
If the question had existed in Mode safe, make the boot minimum troubleshooting to find the root cause of the problem:
    Clean clean boot:
    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    The user account control permission.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type
    password, or click on continue.
    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load starting points.
    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
    5. click on OK.
    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

If the problem is resolved to check what is the cause of the problem, referring to the link given below:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    8. in addition, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software problem on your computer.
Reset the computer to start as usual
    9. When you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
    10. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue. On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    11. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    2. I recommend you to run online Virus Scan to remove any infections, as appropriate.
