Windows 7 does not recognize the graphics cards

I have been using the same PC for the last six years of the game without any problem, I upgraded to Windows 10 and things went to * a few days after talking to Microsoft Care I was told that with the latest version of Windows 10 updates and other updates my system is no longer compatible with Windows 10 and I did a clean install to Windows 7. now, Windows 7 does not recognize my graphics cards 2 x 'GeForce GTX 480"with SLI configuration.

In "Device Manager", it shows two units operating as VGA standard with no details etc.

It install drivers for the 'GeForce GTX 480"because it does not recognize their being there.

Any ideas or help... Please also stay simple for a non PC Geek

  • Portege R700 - Autocad 2011 does not recognize the graphics card

    Hello

I have toshiba Portege R700 with 64-bit win 7 installed.
I need the computer for use with autocad 2011.

For some reason any auocad does not recognize the graphics card installed on the computer.
I suspect it because very little memory is allocated for the graphics card.

How can I change with the memory allocated for the graphics card, or perhaps, can someone show me where can I find a driver that supports autocad.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

What Portege R700-xxx you have exactly?
As far as I know the graphics memory cannot be assigned manually.
Everything is controlled by the graphics driver and you have no influence on this

You can try updating the graphics card driver maybe it would help.
The most recent driver found on the page of the European driver Toshiba
If not, you should check the manufacturer of the graphics chip driver

    Good luck

but I fear that you may be taken in this GPU issue described by butz in post #13 here:

You can try to switch between GPU and CPU by pressing Ctrl / Cmd + E, or you try disabling GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the bar of the App, or on the top of the menu bar, deselect the box Performance GPU. You may also uncheck performance GPU in your preferences.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize the sd card

Well this morning I wanted to add a file to my SDCard which is used for my wii.  When I plugged in on the sd card, nothing happened.  No noise, no windows pop up, nothing.  So I went to my computer and one c, d and e drives where it.  Went to the Manager of peripherals and nothing there either.  This card is a scandisk 4 GB sdhc.  my laptop is old about 3 weeks, just like this sd card (bought both on a Black Friday special;).   I used this card a few days ago on this computer without any problem at all.  The computer does not have a sd slot, so I have to use a usb card reader.  I can't find a brand name on the player.  I was however able to get my old sd card wii to read on this computer with the sd card reader, so I know that the card reader works.  I also tried an old usb 2.0 all in a player and had the same results, my new 4 GB sdhc card will not load, but the old card 1 GB sd (it is not sdhc) had no problem.  This sdhc 4 GB card reads perfectly into the wii.  I pulled out my old laptop which has vista sp2 on it and used the card readers and had no problem loading the new 4 GB sd card.  So, by doing that, I think I have excluded the possibility of having a bad card sd and poor readers.  I have no other sd sdhc card, so I don't know that's what is causing the problem.  Like I said before less than a week, there, everything was fine, and the new computer was able to read the 4 GB card.  Were there an update of windows 7, which would have affected this in the last days?  My computer is set up to receive and install all the new windows updates.  I uninstalled all the usb on this computer drivers and reinstalled them.  I did the same thing with usb card reader drivers.  If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this problem, it would be great thanks.

I was unable to read an 8 GB SDHC, formatted and used for a camera Olympus E - PL1. The card would not be read either on my desktop with Windows 7 using an older SD USB card reader or a 1-year-old Thinkpad W500 with built in SD slot using XP. It was to «put the disc in drive x...» "and act like there is no card in there. After researching on the web, it seemed that it might be a hardware problem. After buying a new USB card reader whichspecifically says that it supports SDHC , the problem is solved on two computers. Apparently, the new SD HC versions seem to need some electronic more or something to decode the higher formats.

Bought card reader has an Interior "Pro all-in-one USB Card Reader/write" stock # 08308 to Fry for $7.99. Now, without any updated driver 8 GB SD card files are now visible on computers through the USB drive and works like any USB key.

There are many other brands in the store, but the point is to buy one that appoints SDHC as supported. This hinterland supports SD, SDHC, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, and so on.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize the SD card in the Device Manager

That pretty much sums up it. I can't understand. my SD card is not launched in 'my computer', but my device manager recognizes it, and little noise "da dup" turns on when I put the SD card in and out. Please help me, I have pictures of my studies that I need it. Anyone else having the same problem? the same answer? Thank you!

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Stefano,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

This problem can be caused if the SD card is damaged or the card reader may not work properly.

    1. What is the brand and model of the SD memory card?

    2. What is the number of the model of the Packard Bell laptop?

    3. you receive an error code or the message after inserting the SD card into your laptop?

    4. have you made any recent hardware or exchange of software on your computer before the show?

    5. have you tried to insert different SD card in your laptop?

    6. have you checked the SD card in another computer?

    7. you try to connect the SD card to a built-in card reader or externally by USB port card reader?

    8. is the specific question to a SD card or any type of cards?

    9. are you able to detect the SD card in the Device Manager?

    Open the Device Manager:

  • Install Windows 8 does not recognize the system drive

I built a new machine (chart below). Since this is a new machine and not an upgrade, I bought Win 8 Pro 64 bit OEM to do a clean install. The SSD is my system disk that Windows 8 will be installed. Four data drives are mirrored, two for the other two. Construction went perfectly. The BIOS recognizes all six disks: 1 SSD, 4 HDD, 1 DVD.

Insert and boot the disk of Windows 8. Accept the EULA, enter the product key. Arriving at the page "Where do you want to install Windows?", only four hard disks are listed. The SSD (installation to go) is not found by Win 8. ??? I tried to change ports SATA, cables, power supply - no difference. For each new change of hardware, the BIOS still sees everything. This isn't a hardware problem.

The question remains: why the installation of Windows 8 does not recognize the SSD drive. All five disks are on AHCI. I'm not in RAID.

I spoke with crucial technical support of all (manufacturer of the SSD). They were also surprised that the drive does not appear in the list.

Does anyone have a solution? I spent all the money on hardware, as well as the new version of Windows and I cannot install it.

This is the real kick in the teeth: Microsoft won't support me. The OEM of Windows 8 version is the same as manufacturers, such as Dell or HP. Support told me I had the support of the manufacturer. HA! I am the manufacturer. Either that or upgrade from an earlier version of Windows. This means that any that a new construction machine will get ZERO assumption of Microsoft. All just great.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Windows 8 Pro 64-bit (full version) - OEM
    Intel Core i5 - 3570K
    Card mother GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H
    Crucial Ballistix 2 x 8 GB DDR3 1600
Crucial M4 2.5 "128 GB SSD (system disk)

Rosewill Challenger-U3 ATX Mid Tower Case
    SeaSonic M12II 620W 620 Bronze PSU
    ASUS DVD writer

The DSS must be LOW LEVEL FORMATE.

Once, there may be no other [HDDs] not connected to the SATA ports.

    Install Windows 8 Pro now.

[Edit] Can someone please mark this as answered? I can't because I posted the question. Thank you.

  • Satellite A110-294 does not recognize the wireless card

    Hello

    the question is:
Why my Satellite A110-294 does not recognize the wireless card?

I re - install Xp PRO with all the drivers.

I have try all the drivers Wireless: Wlan intel + proset intel atheros wlan + wlesscmgr

I don't understand, can you help me?

    Thank you
    André

    Hello

To my knowledge, the A110-294 uses the Atheros WLan card and therefore the Atheros Wlan dirver should be the right one.

You can find the latest driver for Atheros WLan here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

    Just a question;
You see the local network card in Device Manager? I mean, you should see an Ethernet controller or an unknown device in the network adapters
The driver is missing, then the device must be marked with a yellow exclamation point

  • Moto Q does not recognize the memory card

I just added a 2 GB memory card that is approved for the Moto Q 9 M... For some reason, my phone does not recognize the memory card. In the memory section it shows the card is unknown.

With a previous discussion, I saw, I did add the memory card on my PC. It does not recognize the card... Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Jason

Try formatting the card on your pc and then install it on the phone. If it's 2 GB sandisk it should work fine. If the phone or the card is left. Sometimes reformat card strives to set everything right.
