Windows 7 is not friendly when installing programs

I got nothing else problems with Windows 7 because I bought this computer. I spent countless hours with your support staff (HP) as well as support staff from companies I bought software that will not download on my computer. Below is my last means of support to Roxio:

I have already received your explanation of long pages how to install your product on Windows 7. First of all, please excuse this next part I'm about to tear my hair!

All I want to do is to install your program! I don't want to be a computer programmer! Windows 7 is a huge piece of _! Anyone can help me with the fact that I can't seem to install anything. Is there someone in your organization who can help me to disable all "security" features in windows 7 that stop me from using my computer as a useful tool as it should be? I already spent the money to upgrade to your Creator 2010 when 2009 worked just fine on my old computer because windows 7 has said I should. Well now it won't download to my new computer as well as your download Windows Installer Cleanup utility tips to get rid of the traces of the program who don't settle. Well guess what people - Microsoft has removed this utility from its Web site because it screws to the top of your operating system! WHAT NOW?

I have a very busy life - two children, two jobs, not enough time and not enough sleep! I need things I spend my hard earned money on to work the first time, without having to get an another diploma in computer programming.

I had several sessions with your personal online support that eventually included a clean installation of Windows 7! I got it! I want all the features of 'Safe' windows 7 is off! I am the ONLY user of my computer! I am the administrator! I won't be asked to give permission to download something on my computer just to come back and say that there no download in any case! I don't want one set of instructions in a 55-page memo explaining how "easily" this problem could be solved! I don't want this 'HUGE' issued to be fixed at this time only she either happen the next time I decide to purchase software to try to make my life easier. I want a permanent solution!  I won't contact you again this topic! I is uncomfortable to have to contact HP on a problem of Windows 7, but Microsoft will not support my Windows 7 because it was installed by HP, when I bought your computer! I spent a lot of money on this computer and so far I WAS NOT HAPPY! :(

See if you can download the Windows Installer Cleanup utility through this Microsoft link.

Windows sometimes has protection files and dumps in a hidden location similar to this one.

"C:\Users\usernamexxxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Virtualized\C\Users\usernamexxx" typed in the box to begin running with the correct user name and the line includes quotes.  Discover the subfolders of this location, particularly one called downloads

If no downloads never go away and find themselves in the situation above, read this.

What does Internet Explorer protected mode?

Internet Explorer protected mode is a feature that makes it more difficult for malware to be installed on your computer.

In addition to helping protect your computer from malicious software, protected mode allows you to install wanted ActiveX controls or modules when logged in as an administrator.

Protected mode is enabled by default in the Internet, intranet, Local and sensitive sites areas and an icon appears on the status bar to make you know it is running.

By clicking on 'Protected Mode' (just above and to the left of the clock) allows you to disable.

What ever you end up disabling or removing make sure you note how to turn things back on.

    Try to upgrade manually:

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

  • Vista to Windows 7 Upgrade not activate when it is installed on the bare machine

    I have two laptops.

The first belonged originally to my employer and originally had an OEM of Vista installation.  After that I bought them that I've upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium via the upgrade Vista product. This laptop is dead in a final very recently.

Also the second laptop was bought by my employer, but as bare metal (they were more able to transfer licenses of Windows). He had no OS installed. I was not able to install a copy of Vista on it (because the purchase of the laptop one did not include the disks of Vista). So that I could not transfer activation. Windows 7 upgrade-to-Vista install has worked well on the bare machine (after downloading the drivers and others) except for activation, where he could not say "you cannot use an upgrade installation."

I guess, reading a bit on this topic here, I'm out of luck on the old Windows 7 license transfer (although I'd like to hear otherwise). Even if this is the case, I need to know what I need to follow to install a version "authentic". I don't want to build the machine from scratch once again, if I can avoid it - it was very tedious. I don't want to 'upgrade' to Windows 8.

He would work to install a version of Windows 7 OEM on top of the existing, or must they be installed on a naked machine? Is there a different version that works if that won't? (Special bonus question: would such a facility, if it works, make the machine that is eligible for a free upgrade of Windows 10?)

Thanks for all your comments and responses.
