Windows 7 ISO has only 32-bit, 64-bit version
I bought Windows 7 Professional earlier this year. ISO I downloaed (backup DVD of NO) has only the 32-bit version on it. I can install Windows 7 Professional 64-bit?
Download Windows 7 Professional 32-bit or 64-bit. ISO and follow the instructions below to create your own installation DVD. You will always use the product key that you got, but the DVD will be created from the. ISO file that you download.
32-bit Digital River: http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-65804/X15-65804.iso
64-bit Digital River: http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-65805/X15-65805.iso
Check it. Downloaded ISO file is not corrupted:
Download and install of SlavaSoft HashCalc
HASH, CRC, AND HMAC CALCULATOR
http://www.SlavaSoft.com/HashCalc/index.htm
For Windows. ISO file just place checkmarks in the boxes of SHA1 and CRC32. In the main window of HashCalc "data format" box located in the top left corner should be set to "file".
In the 'Data' field, click on the... located at the top right and then click 'Cancel' If you get a "Insert disk" window pop up. After clicking cancle, you should see a window 'find '. This allows you to navigate to the folder where your. ISO file is stored and click on the file. You should now see the. ISO file that you clicked on listed in the box 'File name' located at the bottom of the "Find" window Now click on the button 'open '. The data field should now show the path of the directory/folder and the name of the. You have selected the ISO file.
With only the SHA1 and CRC32 checkboxes are checked (do not place check marks in all the other boxes as this can slow the time it take to calculate values) click on the 'Calculate' button at the bottom of the main window of HashCalc.
It will take anywhere from 30-60 seconds for the calculation and the SHA1 and CRC32 data values to display.
These values are not case sensitive, so a lower case 'a' is the same as a capital letter "A" to the extent where results are concerned. However, they must match those I posted below.

Upgrade to 64 - bit with this situation?A few years ago, I bought a PC which has Vista installed on it, but I was given a Windows 7 Upgrade disk to install Windows 7. I was able to create a clean install with upgrade disc. Recently, I discovered that my processor can support 64-bit, so I want to go to that. Problem is the upgrade disc contains the 32-bit version, even though I believe complete dics of Windows 7 contains both versions. It does not mean that I am eligible for the 64 bit version of Windows 7? It's terribly confusing. What are my options for installation of 64-bit? The 64-bit version can be downloaded or something? I even use the same product key?
Will be the product key, I received with my job to drive upgrade with the 64-bit version, I downloaded?
Yes.
The key of Windows 7 works with 32 and 64 bit, but can only be installed at a time.
You may need to use the phone activation, two methods to do this are below.
1. call Microsoft use the manual phone Activation
Note: If you always install Windows page enter your product key, do not enter your key and uncheck the "Automatically activate when online" then click OK/next to complete the installation.
1. start by clicking on the start menu, and then type: slui.exe 4
2. press enter on your keyboard
3. Select your country.
4 Select the telephone activation option, enter the number, do not select all options and wait for a person pick up, then explain what happened.
2. call Microsoft use the manual phone Activation
Note: If you always install Windows page enter your product key, do not enter your key and uncheck the "Automatically activate when online" then click OK/next to complete the installation.
1. open Windows Activation - click the Start button, right-click on computer, click Properties, and then click on the option change your key.
2. click on show me other ways to activate.
3 type your Windows 7 product key, and then click Next.
4. click on use the automated phone system.
5. click on the location nearest you from the drop-down list, and then click Next.
6. dial one of the available phone numbers listed.
7. do not select all options and wait for a person pick up, then explain what happened.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions from Installation Windows 7 & responses -
Hello.
I wanted to ask you for example in Windows Server 2008 32-bit when there are Windows Deployment Service. From there you can add images and then you can install windows on the network. So I wanted to try to do it with the cd Windows 8 Pro where I but I couldn't do that because in the catalog of Sources, I find "install.esd" not "install.wim" how the server or service request, with the cd of Windows 7 you can do, but you can't do that with windows 8 Pro I have buyed haved. I want to try to do this with Windows 8 Pro cd on the network because I have 3 pc at home with Windows 8 Pro and I wanted to try out the service deployment with windows 8 when I need to install pc so I prefer to install it on the network not on cd or etc. P.S. for all PCs with windows 8 pro I have buyed them, I have license key and etc.
I use the 32-bit version of Windows Server 2008 in thw.

Windows 8 will be a 32-bit version?
I have some programs that are designed to run on a 32-bit system and I'm curious to know if there will be a 32-bit version of Windows 8 created? Thank you
Yes, Windows 8 will support 32-bit (x 86), 64-bit (x 64) and processors of holdings of ARMS in 32 and 64 bit versions.
Windows 8 32-bit by default to disable 16-bit applications, so if you have 32-bit applications with 16-bit installers, they will not work by default. You can open the control panel > open the applet of the 16-bit subsystem and can get your applications to work.

Site to download Windows 7 ISO offer only French & Korean (wrench!)
Hello
I am trying to download a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit English ISO from this site:
https://www.Microsoft.com/en-AU/software-download/Windows7
When I enter my key it offers me only the Korean versions or French to download. My key is a wrench bought in 2009 at the Australian Microsoft online store.
I just spent 1 hour and 10 minutes on the phone with Microsoft that bounced me between Windows support, billing and back to Windows support. The last operator said that he would send me a direct link, but he has just sent me the link to Service Pack 1, NOT the complete ISO image! (He then hung up on me before I noticed that the link he sent me was bad).
Anyone had success downloading an English ISO of this site?
Thank you

I've been running cardfile.exe 3.0 for years. Works fine on my home laptop running Vista. New office system is Windows 7 64-bit. I found here in these forums a good workaround solution to enable a feature (http://www.mediafire.com/?4ah27wr4x164hl4 - and thanks a lot again!), but the display of fonts is wobbly - everything is "extended" fonts - I was wondering if a version greater than 3.0 could be loved more than 3.0. Help appreciated.

Windows Vista Edition home premium 64-bit / windows exporer stops responding
I bought a new HP printer while a touchscreen IQ525 of HP through BestBuy in February 2010, I run the programs, the pilot and the material that has been pre-installed when I bought my machine, kept windows updated and has (only) antivirus software protect my computer with windows defender help. A month ago my windows Explorer I ran sfc/scannow, ago damaged files that can not be repaired, I find the problematic files in following all explained step-by-step in other forums I was asked for the original disc of vista for insterted to solve the problem but never got one with my computer. How can I fix this without having to buy a new set of windows vista disk? I think that I already paid for the one that was installed on my computer before my purchase.
Hi Rosenlove,
If the (SFC Scan) System File Checker has found errors and inviting to insert the Windows vista disc, you will need to insert the Windows Vista disc to fix running.
However, since you do not have the disk and the computer are pre-installed with Windows Vista and since it a new computer, I would suggest contact you HP support and see if they can help you with this question and shipout Windows Vista disc.

I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

Original title: upgrade Windows 10
I made an iso file for windows 10. I am waiting to upgrade until all the bugs are being developed. My question is: will the iso file of windows 10 still work to upgrade my computer to windows 7 after the date limit to install the free version?
The ISO will work after the date limit, but you can buy Windows 10 after the date limit, if you don't improve and activate it before that date.
Windows 10 is delivered as a service:
Windows July 10 release - build 10240
Windows Update 10 November - build 10586 (with many updates depuis.13,.29,. 36)
If you want to take advantage of the free offer, you must do so before July 29, 2016.
If you the newer versions are released before then, you can always download and install when it becomes available.
You could also install it now then download updates via Windows Update as soon as they are available.
Task of pre-required
When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

then

- How to: upgrade previous versions of Windows using the file ISO for Windows 10
then
- Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
- Reboot several times, and then try again.
- Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
- If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
- Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
- If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
- If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
- If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
- If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
- If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

where can I get firefox 64-bit versions? where can I get older versions of firefox?
It's really frustrating.
After the installation of Iceweasel 20 of my distribution is no longer restore previous session at startup.
My distribution is no longer firefox 18 door which was the previous version. He wears an iceweasel 10 version that does not have this problem.
Of course, the problem is not reproducible with fresh profile but I don't want a darn empty profile. I want my story.
And download 64-bit version or an earlier version of firefox from mozilla.com is almost impossible. No links are provided. You can try the best a random URL in the hope that you find the one that leads somewhere.
You can get versions of Linux 64-bit from the FTP server.
The regular download page offers only 32-bit versions, but these version will work on 64-bit and Linux if you have 32-bit versions of all the plugins and libraries. -
Has anyone else tried to get the English version of Windows 7 ISO of the MS download site? I have a valid key and the website let me only to get the Korean or French version. English useful MS tech 'UN' told me that the English version is no longer supported and should I install one of these versions and then download the language package and install it. Has anyone else been in this position? It was a horrible experience with the online chat with technical support.
Marcus,
Some people have persevered with contact support via the link on the MS download site and have finally received the download links temporary for an English version. [You will find these discussions if you looking for the Korean forum as most people in your situation included that word in their title of the question. I don't remember one of these threads containing any additional info that would be of no use to you.]
If that does not appeal to you & you still cannot find your original installation disks, then buy a disc-relocation
- Amazon now stock reinstallation DVD for just a quid [the link is for their UK site site American stocks also to them].
- These seem to be exactly what they claim they do not have a product key and that they are specifically described as being for reassembly only - in other words, they are not an attempt to distribute pirated Windows.
- You must use your own product key for activation.
- Make sure order you Windows 7 edition {Home Premium etc.} that is identified on your certificate of authenticity [the label that contains your product key].
- Some of the sellers provide 32 bit and 64 bit DVD, while others provide one or the other. So make sure you order the right kind.
- These discs can do everything what a system repair disc can do, so you'll not need to make a separately.

Hello
I try to have a system dual boot on a 2012 end iMac 27 inches with Intel i7 under OS X El Capitan v10.11.4 who had replaced running Fusion HD. I created files .iso files to both a .cdr WIndows 7 all-in-one 32/64 BIT DVD and a DVD from 32 to 64 BITS of Windows 7 Professionaland also downloaded the BootCamp5.1.5621 drivers. I created the files .iso on a USB disk ejector WD Passport 160 GB ATA. When I try to use BootCamp to create a WIndows 7 install disk from the selected .iso files, it is said that this version is not 64-BIT and it requires 64-BIT install on my iMac. What Bootcamp, look in the files of la.cdr/.iso it determines that it is not 64 bit?
Please use your product key and download an ISO only 64 bits from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7 and place it in your Documents folder. Find a 8 + GB USB Flash drive, which will be in the format / erased by BCA. Run BCA and use the option create USB Installer (it should automatically check the software download option). When you are prompted, point to the ISO. This installer from USB can be used repeatedly.
El Capitan will create Setup with BC6 USB drivers. Please follow install Windows 7 and previous versions on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support and follow steps 1 through 16 in the Windows 7 installation section. Pay attention to step 11 in particular.
