Windows 7 not genuine when reinstated windows 10

Hello

I upgraded to windows 10, but found I didn't like or pass to set up, so within 24 hours, I went back to windows 7. Do, Microsoft gave me a non-genuine Windows 7.

Is it possible to get a genuine window 7. I don't have a product key.

Run the tool MGADiag from the link below.  When he finishes, click on 'Copy' and paste the results into a response.

  • I get an error, "this copy of Windows is not genuine" when I try to reinstall Windows 7.

I tried to reinstall Windows on a machine running Windows 7 Build 7601 made-to-measure and now I get a "this copy of Windows is not genuine error» I was trying to transfer the operating system of a 30 GB SSD to a new 90 GB SSD as the space available on the 30 GB version has been insufficient.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I really need to clean all drives and reinstall from scratch on the 90 GB SSD drive, but I'm not able to get order of format etc.

  • Why windows 7 says it is not genuine, when it is authentic

At least once a day, this message appears in the lower right. When I right click on computer and go to properties, it says windows is activated

This looks OK to me - but you are consider a reformat/reinstall - and since it is a key to retail sales, it is likely that you do not have the appropriate license.

This machine almost certainly came with XP Pro installed - or nothing - as it was made in 2005 about.

  • Windows not genuine when it is actually

I was given a DELL laptop and told to fix an error Validation of Windows.  On problems and not knowing the origin of the Windows license, I bought and installed a retail copy.  After that, I always get the Validation error saying "windows needs to function properly the files have been changed.  I posted the MGADiag below.  Any help would certainly be appreciated.  Thank you.

So very well and why you get the message. Windows 7 Pro would be logical for an E6320 aimed at the corporate market. Also departmental systems do not always have the recovery partition. The disc provided by Dell is evil which is unusual because they know what version of the laptop came with. More relevant is this point of the ball which is specifically stated that the message will go up because of the service pack

ISO to match your COA label is here, download the file and the Windows 7 USB tool download from here. Use the tool to create a USB bootable (4 GB min) with the Windows image on it and boot from the drive. Use the key on your COA label.

Personally, I would be chasing Dell to drive right to your laptop.

  • What to do if the copy of Windows is genuine when MS wrote that is not

I received the message "this copy of Windows is not genuine".  Windows 64 bit Vista came installed on my laptop when I bought it almost 2 years ago.  Why I get this message now?  MY COPY IS AUTHENTIC.  What am I supposed to do?  I'm not a geek & dirty with records or something like that.  I find it very upsetting that MS did something like this & there is no where & no, you can call to get them to do it right.  I don't have to understand something like that by myself.  If Microsoft will do checks like that, they should do things or provide a toll-free number for when they go wrong.

    Hello

I would say allowing you to run the Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics tool then copy and paste the results into an answer here for further analysis:

Also I suggest you to check your product key and report to Microsoft about the issue.

Select Start, right-click computer, click Properties, select change product key (under Windows Activation) and enter the product key of 25 characters (from the COA sticker). Click Next to activate via the internet. Restart your computer.

  • When I came out of hibernation, a window appears saying that Windows is not genuine

    Windows not genuine message?

I have a ZT Systems Core i7 PC with Win7 Home Premium 64-bit. It's about a year, but recently, when I came out of hibernation, a window appears saying that Windows is not genuine.  When I close and re - enter my ID in the Properties window, it checks and says that the activation is successful.  Why this message keep appearing from time to time and how do I get rid of him?  Thank you!

A product id is not a product key. your product key is on your COA attached to your computer. (if your laptop, it may be in the battery compartment).

    MGA Diagnostic Report:

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )

    Once downloaded, run the tool.

Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button.

Click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this stage) and then paste (with r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your message. (please do not change the report.)

Please indicate the version and edition of windows from your COA. do not specify the product key from the COA.

    One issue per thread:

Activation and Validation issues more look the same on the surface, but can have many different causes and bugs. This is why we ask a diagnostic report and it is also why we are asking that you create your own thread for your question (in other words, do not post your question in another thread).

It is simply too complicated to try to resolve the multiple problems in the same thread.

How to post in your own thread

  • Message that Windows is not genuine

I have a message in the bottom right of my office that my copy of Windows 7 is not genuine, but it is.  This is an update from HP for Vista, which was originally installed when I bought my computer about 4 years ago.   The upgrade was part of the purchase transaction in time.  When I try to enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit SP1 valid I used initially to install the program, I get an error message.   What can I do to fix this?  Thank you.

See this thread that may help you:

  • Re: message "this copy of Windows is not genuine".

Hello, this morning the following message appeared as my wallpaper:

    "Windows 7".
    Build 7600
This copy of Windows is not genuine ".

Windows was preinstalled on my laptop (i.e. is authentic).
I searched Microsoft, their solution is to run RSoP.msc - when I try to do, I gives me the message "Windows cannot find ' RSoP.msc". "

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey,.

And what Toshiba laptop you have exactly?

Windows 7 preinstalled or another OS?
This product key, you can find on the lower side of your computer?

  • Windows 7 product key blocked - not genuine notice

My T420 is 3 years old and all of a sudden yesterday I received the notice and black screen saying "this copy of Windows is not genuine". And nag screens on it about every half hour (and annoyingly at startup).

I tried several fixes online, including the re - enter the product key. When I do this I get the error 0XC004F063. There is no place to contact Microsoft for a replacement key, it says to contact Lenovo.

I talked to Lenovo support this morning and told me I might need to reinstall Windows, and they were mailing - me to restore disks. He checked and said with this error code that I had to call Microsoft.

I called MS and we checked the product key... it's blocked. I gave her my product ID and which is also blocked. He said to come back to Lenovo.

Lenovo doesn't know anything about. Or what to do about it. The woman was told she had someone call this morning with something similar, if it was Windows 8. She checked and several other people support had similar appeals this morning. She also said that I would probably have to reinstall Windows. I asked if she would have never had this before and she said no. I asked if she knew other people having these calls before and she didn't say that she didn't know. I asked that if it seemed suspicious that all of a sudden some people had this problem. It seems that Lenovo blocked a series of product keys. It was covered on if she was really out of hand and said the Commissioner knew it and they would look inside. When I asked if they would contact me if they found anything, she said that this does not work like that. They you me sending restore disks and I am for the reminder Friday to see if someone knows something.

In the meantime, here is my log Genuine Ms. It seems correct to my untrained eye... does anyone have any ideas or know of others, especially in the last 24 hours?
