Windows 7 OEM on Acer laptop re-installed, now have the problem of activation key.
Hi, I'm new here.
I bought an Acer laptop last time that built in Windows 7 Home premium installed in it.
recently, I have been having a driver conflict that caused the blue screen and I cannot load windows more than little time after. a guy tried to fix with another version of windows, and the result is that I lost the files of recovery which is supposed to be in the drive.
I use a Windows 7 trial now and it does not accept my previous license... How to solve this?
Should I get a specific Windows 7 home download?
Thanks in advance.

Recently had to do a restore on Acer laptop on Vista, now have the erratic cursor
I recently had to do a restore on my computer and my old Nemesis the returned cursor erratic! Unfortunately, I don't remember how I fixed it before. It is certainly not the touchpad. When I type I suddenly find I hit in the middle of a word in the document.
Hello

I suggest that you follow the steps below:
Method 1:
Reduce the sensitivity of the touchpad and check if the problem occurs, follow these steps:
a. click on the menu "Start" and click the option ""Panel.".
b. change the view by category to large icons option, click twice on the icon named "mouse"... The 'mouse properties' window opens. Go to the tab "device settings". Click on the button "settings". A window titled "Properties" appears.
c. examine the left panel of the 'Properties' window and expand the option 'sensitivity. ' Click on the option 'touch sensitivity. '
d. reduce tactile sensitivity in moving the slider to the right, to the label of "heavy touch. Experiment with different levels of sensitivity until find you one suited to your needs.
Click on the 'OK' button to close the "Properties" window Repeat the operation with the control panel "mouse". Your new touchpad sensitivity settings are now saved.
Method 2:
Turn off Hide pointer option follow these steps:
a. open the mouse by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking hardware, and then clicking on the mouse.

I CS5.5 Master Collection and you want to transfer to a new laptop. The CS5.5 was an update for CS3 Design standard and I have all the disks and serial numbers. I just uninstall both programs a laptop and install them on the other?
You can do it, but you don't have to install cs3 in order to install your upgrade of cs5.5.
You can launch the installation of cs5.5 and you will be asked your cs5.5 serial number. Setup will ask you then select the product (in a drop-down list) calling. Select cs3 and you will be prompted for the serial number for cs3.
Enter the correct number at the right time and to proceed with the installation.
If you no longer need these programs on your old laptop, disable (help > deactivate) before uninstalling so that you can keep your two activations.
