  Problem:  After I do a backup one using ghettoVCB on a local VMFS volume, I have a virtual machine that I can start something happened to that running.  However, sometimes I just need a file from the OS level, which means that I would need to start to get them, but then I have an IP address conflict.  I can't imagine a way to have the NICs turned off and still be able to move the file.  If I change the IP addresses, the software that I need to create the file that I need to transfer no longer works because, although there no need of constant connectivity to the seller, it is locked to the public IP address.

  Material:  I have two 4 ESXi hosts to work, each with local VMFS volumes.  They share a private vlan common and a vlan common public.  They each ssh, ftp, wput, wget, and rsync available.  I have a Windows 2003 Server VM which also hosts a NFS and the VI client and other VMWare tools.  It also has private and public interfaces as do virtual machines that would be to make and receive the OS files.

  Although not my area of expertise (and you're welcome to ignore it and just after to the other forum), I did do research in any case and believe that the problem involves the corruption on your hard drive (although I could certainly be wrong - it is more likely to be the case if the full error message includes "drive cannot find sector requested" but you don't get the full error message, so I don't know). To try to fix it, if that is the problem, follow these steps:

  Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

  While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run. They tried to set itself to run at the next reboot. Answer Yes and restart to run the program. It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause.

  If this does not work, test better clean your hard drive. To test your hard drive, check the manufacturer and try to diagnosis HD (http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html) or this test: hard drive diagnostics tools and utilities (storage) - Corp of TACKtech (http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287). If it passes the tests, there's probably nothing wrong with it and you must do to the other support forum. If it fails, which include in your post on the other forum and let them advise you how to proceed.

  I hope that the above solves the problem. If this isn't the case, I am confident, they can help you in the other forum, because that's what they specialize in. It would help if you posted the message Word for Word that is accurate and complete, including all codes.   Hello Karena R, yesterday, I downloaded and installed Windows Live Mail, and I must say that I prefer Windows Mail Live Mail program. After making sure that Live Mail is the deafult for all messaging functions and that the entry "Mail Protocol" was now back to the list of saved files, I checked the problem mentioned in my original post. He is not fixed! Another small problem is fixed now if. In my "drafts" mailbox I have some e-mails stored there and when I click on one of them upwards now comes an email with the appropriate address inserted in the address line. Who could not before. I used to get this error message, which is now the new title of my post. So why the difference when I click on email address that I find on Web sites? Now, I also find that by Michael following the instructions (below), I do not see an entry "mailto" but his suggestion to step d. type in "URL Protocol" is not appropriate because it is already there. The installation of an entirely new email software should have my computer all the necessary entries for the new program to function properly in all respects. So what's happening?   Normally the flasher will check to verify the operating system, but I can't on this one.  It does not separate out ROM file, even if it does not check if the operating system you can always extract the file BIOS and flash BACK.  I would try it first in windows.  It will tell you if there is a control in place.
