Like to know where to buy it, it is a matter of choice, but make sure what you get from a reputable company. Avoid auction sites online, because they can be a source of counterfeit software.

A full commercial copy of Windows 7 contains DVDs that allow you to do a clean install or repair the installation.

Should have started a new one for you.

    To answer your question:

    > Do I need advocate? I use AVG free Edition 2012 and Wise registry cleaner.

1 AVG is supposed to close Windows Defender. This is because AVG has his own Defender. To have 2 defenders on the same machine will create conflicts.
Thus, you don't need Windows Defender if you moy.

1st thing to try is the system in safe mode restore to before the problem

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.

If you tried to log on to Windows and received an error message telling you that your user profile is damaged, you can try to fix it. You will need to create a new profile and then copy the files from the existing to the new profile. and if you need to reinstall vista, here are the different ways to do it:

Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

  • Why do my colors differ with Win DVD maker?

Here's the long version... I use Windows Movie Maker 2.6.  I have a bunch of photos I shot in raw (Pentax K10 - D) and edited in Photoshop. In the middle of the process, I thought I'd be a good idea to calibrate my monitor, so I downloaded the software and calibrated using an old HueyPro.  When I put in place the film in MovieMaker, the colors looked really good.  After putting on the DVD, the colors are off. in particular, the uniforms are disabled.  They should be a dark blue.  On the DVD, they have much lighter air.  (All the colors are a little off, but the Blues seem to be particularly affected.)  If it helps, the DVD is just as bad on the PC and TV ;)

I'm sure it's a question of color profile.  However, I'm over my head on how to solve this problem.
In the System32\spool\drivers\color folder, including the color profile Huey.  Adobe also has its own wsRGB.icc and wscRGB.icc to (c:\users\Steve\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows).
ANY ideas?  Thanks for your help!

  • installation of Windows Vista x 64 with another DVD

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I have s few questions in my mind and I hope that I would get a good response from here.

    1. I bought a Windows Vista Home Premium x 32 and only x 32 DVD's in retail package. Now, I intend to move from Windows Vista home premium x 32 to x 64 so that my system to be able to use fully the 4 GB of RAM instead of only 3.3 or so GB of RAM (and also to increase more RAM later). Given that I don't have the Windows Vista Edition installation disc Home Premium x 64 (DVD), I would be able to install Windows Vista by using another copy of Windows Vista x 64 with another x 64 product key (without going into the 'product key' and automatic activation)? And after installation, I will use my 'product key' for activation, I was able to activate it with my retail Windows Vista x 32 'product key ' to run x 64 Windows? Or y at - there a site where I can go online to download a legal Windows Vista Edition Installer Home Premium x 64 (*.exe, *.) ISO, etc.) ?

    2. I found that I could order the Windows Vista Edition installation disc Home Premium x 64 (DVD) of "http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/1033/ordermedia/default.mspx". The DVD is free, and I just need to pay for the shipping & handling of 10.95 USD by standard mail and 20 + USD (payment using 'Credit card') International mail. 1, the problem is that I did not have any kind of 'Credit card', is the any alternative to order the DVD? 2. If I am using another credit card to order the DVD (e.g. credit card of my sister), it will be fine and it will be 100% sure? 3. I live in Malaysia, if I ask for the DVD, I could choose the delivery options ' US $10.95 shipping & handling charges?

1 borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD(not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If your Vista is a retail copy/license, you can use the same key as the 32 bit

  • MS wrote that Windows 7 Professional comes with MS Games; they have disappeared. How can I get them?

I bought a HP Pavilion, manufacturer dv7 - 3098ca, with Windows 7 Professional installed.  There are 2 directories with the word 'game' - HP - games and games.  They both contain the same set of HP games (2 identical sets).  According to Microsoft, Windows 7 comes with the same games that have been installed with Vista business, normally residing in the games directory.  Can someone tell me how to get the Microsoft Games that were supposed to be included with this system?

Normally, you should see games under all programs. You can even search for games under boot and search for the Games Explorer button.

If you see missing, perform these steps to install them:

    1. click on start, control panel

    2. open programs and features

    3. click on "turn Windows features on or off".

    4. uncheck the games

    5. click on OK

    6 restart the system

    7. Repeat steps 1-3. Check the option games

    8. click on OK

9 restart the system... the games should be back now

  • Search box in Windows 7 to come with the program association problem

    I am running Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit operating system.

For the last few months there was a problem with my search box of the start menu.  I can search for in any folder without problems, but when I type a query in the search box and select "Search everywhere" it comes up with 'there is no associated program to perform the selected action. Please install a program or, if such is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel. "I have no problem if I just type a search query in the search box and let it load suggestions, only when I hit 'search all' above the search box.

I have searched extensively for a solution online, but so far running checkdisk and ' sfc/scannow' does not work.

    Thank you

You don't do something wrong, I just use a large number of protocols in my work and have many installed applications that use them.  An example of a protocol that we both share would be the mailto: Protocol.

Frame background bit: on the internet, you are more familiar with the two protocols, HTTP: and HTTPS:.  You might also be aware of the FTP: file transfer protocol.  To test a Protocol, you can type in your box to run and click OK to see what is happening.  For example, if you "start" text only "HTTP:" (without the quotes), you will have your browser pop open (on a blank page, since you specify nothing after the Protocol for it to open).  Even with MAILTO: causing open your e-mail program (if you have included an email address after the: brand, you would get an e-mail message préadressé).

In any case, it seems that your research protocol has been removed. Creating a profile on the computer usually will correct it (because each user has their own set of preferences of Protocol), and then you'd have to drag your files to the new profile and make "your" again.

But first, you might try to remove and reinstall the search within Windows System.  Here's how:

    1. In Control Panel, select programs > Turn Windows has or not
    2. Search Windows Search in the list and turn it off, click OK, let him finish and reboot as requested.
    3. Go back and turn it on, let it install and there still restart (Yes, a lot of reboot)

At this point, it should be reset and I hope that the Protocol is implemented again.

  • By Satellite A300 - 15 c comes with Vista DVD

    Hello

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A300 - 15 c to some queries:

Is - this type is delivered with Windows Vista DVD?

    Hello

The new Toshiba notebooks seem to be delivered with the image of Toshiba HDD.
This means that Vista and all the other drivers, tools and utilities are already preinstalled on the HARD drive and the image is placed on another partition.

You can burn this image on DVD to get a recovery DVD.
As I m not wrong not it must be preinstalled software Toshiba called recovery disk creator. This tool can be used to create a recovery DVD.

Once again; the books are not delivered with the Vista DVD.

  • Why in the world a laptop would not come with a dvd player? This is the most stupid thing ever

I do not buy laptops often, it's only my second laptop computer purchase after having spent five years with an HP laptop. Was not the greatest, but it helped me to get through school and work. Now, I buy an acer because I heard a lot of people it's a great brand, but I'm quickly doubt that. Why? It is not a cd/dvd drive. Why in the world a laptop never would come without one? I'll come back this and am greatly disappointed with this brand. I did not and will not encourage anyone to buy an acer laptop.

  • 8.1 Windows restore laptop comes with windows 8

I have the TouchSmart from HP Envy 15-J003cl provided with windows 8.  I have installed all updates including windows 8.1.  Process has been without incident, but slow.  Many updates of HP and Ms.  I created a flash back/restore, also a lengthy drive.

Anyway, my question.  Is it possible to create a recovery media that includes my updates?  It would be a problem if I have to go through the same process of update again.  The probability that I needed to do a complete restore is perhaps small but I still want to know what is possible.

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you

    Hello:

I can only answer to your first question.

Use only the 512 MB drive boot the PC to access the system image you created on a portable hard drive or DVDs.

Should not exceed 32 GB flash drive would be to create a recovery disk with partition recovery on it (but the recovery partition will be copied will be for W8, not 8.1).

  • How to add music on DVD with the DVD maker program?

I have recently made a DVD with 469 photos and you want to add music. However, when I click on the button music add I can get some of the files from my Itunes library but the a folder that I created with 11 songs for this DVD shows empty.
