Windows 7 presents Session Active - no user not connected?
OS: Windows 7 Pro x 64
I get this message when I mstsc (RDP) on a remote machine (several machines all have the same problem):
"There is an active user connected to this system. Please do not try to connect to this system... »
How can I remove this message?
Clicking OK irritates me for remote desktop. "User" said is actually me under another account named "H1339', but I do not click close the session when I connect (not disconnect).
I looked at the process and services but nothing does not run under "H1339", and yet I still get this message whenever I connect.
Any ideas? Suggestions? Please, I beg you.
Thank you

Clean install of Windows 7 but the activation key does not work
Hello, enter a new installation of Windows 7, the first OS on a new construction of the mine.
The problem I have is that the activation key will not work, the problem would beI use a Windows 7 (updated for Win Vista)? Or do I need a newproduct key?Thank youEricHowever, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.
15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.
So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.
If your computer comes with a qualifying previous license such as Windows Vista or Windows XP and the certificate of authenticity is still attached to the machine in good condition, then the COST is reason enough to represent the compliance to the software license agreement. No previous required software installation, which means you can do a clean install with Windows 7 Upgrade disk.
How to do a clean install with upgrade disc:
Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
Click Install now
Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)
Click on drive Options
Select the disc/s click on Delete
Click new
Click on apply
Click OK

Opening a session with the user not admin
Hi all
I get this error when I connect with the user not admin.
"Application is in maintenance mode, new connections are not allowed."
No idea about this will be really helpful. You must identify yourself with the admin user and exit maintenance mode, the steps are here:-http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/hp_admin/ch10s02s05.html
That could post even though the steps are sometimes people find a bond far too difficult.
Select Administration, Application and settings.
For the show, select Advanced settings.
Click OK.
Select system settings.
Application in Maintenance mode, select an option to allow use of the Application to:All users: all users can log in or continue working with the application.
Administrator: Only administrators can log on. Other users are driven out and prevented to connect until the option is given to all users.
Owner: Only the owner of the application can connect. All other users are unable to open a session. If they are currently logged in, they are forced from the system until the option is given to all users or administrators. Only the owner of the application can restrict administrators to use the application. If your selection is more restrictive than the current setting, click OK.
Click Save.See you soon

Hi guys
I had the same problem and after looking at many found that a codec was corrupting the libraries used by WM11.
First: exec cmd in administrator mode (run as administrator) regsvr32 /u mmswitch.ax bad codec in my case
Second: regsrv32 wmp.dll
Third: import that it keys to register, you can do a .reg file, saving with Notepad:

A: apparently, this is caused by a mixup of version in the registry. If you get rid of the incorrect information, Media Player will stop complaining and run very well. Here's how:
* Click on the round of departure.
* Enter REGEDIT.
* When you are prompted, click on continue or enter an administrator password.
* In the registry editor, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Setup\Installed key versions. Just like you should navigate in a certain folder in Windows Explorer.
* In the right pane find three values named wmp.dll wmplayer.exe and wmploc.dll.
* Click each of these values in turn, and then choose Delete on the shortcut menu.
* Close the registry editorMedia Player should now load without any gripes. -Neil j. Rubenking.

I got an asus computer notebook windows vista, upgrade from vista to windows 7, now I'm not able to do a clean install of windows xp, when I try to install XP, it says that hard drives are not connected & windows cannot find not the hard drives, so once again installed windows 7, is there a way to overcome this problem Why do I get the message windows xp does not detect hard drives? I even formatted the hard drive & tried to install Xp, but still, I get the same message.
The answers will be appreciated...
Thank you
Because the Windows XP installation CD does not have the necessary disk controller drivers. You will need a floppy drive to provide the drivers of controller for the installation program, or you will need to burn a CD of Windows XP with the controller drivers slipstreamed into the installation. A CD of Windows XP with SP2 included may have the necessary drivers.

How change the default resolution for windows to use when the monitor is not connected
Hi, how can I set the resolution by default that windows uses when the monitor is turned off or not connected at all? My problem is that normally I use 1920 x 1080, but when I put the pc to sleep or just turn monitor and leave it like that for a while with a few app maximized, when I get back and turn the monitor on the resolution is correct but the enlarged window is resized to 1024 x 786 resolution. I tried to change in the registry DefaultSettings.XResolution a DefaultSettings.YResolution in all instances and it worked fine for a long time. Then some update that happened and now it no longer works. I reinstalled the system, but it still does not. How can I force windows to use always the 1920 x 1080?
It seems that TMM disabling did the trick. Maximized windows are not yet moved to the left edge of the screen, well, those who have been maximized is maximized correctly as they should. I had to disable TMM through registry as I had no MMR in Task Scheduler.
If anoyone is interested I've followed the instructions described here:

Windows Server 2012R2 KMS Activation Key - do not increase
Hi all
I managed to set our key KMS data center on a dedicated server of KMS in our Organization. The KMS server is published in DNS (nslookup-type = _vlmcs._tcp = all OK). I started to install different Windows ("autonomous" and facilities of VDI) 2012R2 servers, however the number of KMS does not increase even if I have activated at least 30 machines. Note that our facility is for key KMS data center of Windows Server edition 2012R2, no office or Win7/8/10 KMS key.
The current number is set to "10" (all the time).
I also tried to broaden the pool of the VDI, but the number remains the same.
I did not CMID duplicate, I don't have a rogue KMS server (and clients are not directed to another KMS server - we have only a KMS server in our Organization).
I also followed this post, but without success:
https://blogs.technet.Microsoft.com/ASKCORE/2011/02/08/KMS-count-is-not-increasing/
Thanks in advance.

WebDAV session no error but not connected
I am very eager to get running with webDAV. I see two main use cases:
(1) cRIO pushes to a remote WebDAV server log files
(2) cRIO acts as a webDAV server to allow remote clients to access files
"Why" is in both cases, because it's a safer way to transfer files, particularly with active HTTPS.
My first step was to set up a WebDAV on Windows 7 server (one of the many how - to of)... After some tinkering (I put the virtual shared folder in C:\ProgramData\ as for example my desktop does not read/write accessible by the default windows WebDAV server), I was able to connect to the windows ' DAV Server from a browser with (in my case) http://192.168.1.40/cRIO/ where the name of my virtual folder is cRIO.
My next step is to try to access this window ' folder DAV of the cRIO (on the same network), and this is where I am stuck.
It seems that the "open session" will happily blow almost anything and not report an error, even when I sent entries as a username = name of user domain\username and password empty or even an incorrect IP address... This makes troubleshooting and learn a new interface rather like playing hide-and-seek blindfolded.
I left the last set of "inputs" that I tried as default values, except for the user name and password (for obvious reasons).
Long story short, I can't understand why this (code below) will not work? for any idea or suggestion would be appreicated!
Anyone?
