Suggestions?

Hi Etty,

You can run the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) command and check if it helps.

You can follow the steps to follow:

a. open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made the programs, on Accessories, right click invite, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

b. type the following commands. Press ENTER after each command.

DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Note: Look for the space after 'exe', 'online' and 'image'.

c. close the command prompt and check if the problem is resolved.

Thank you.

No, it means that you are misunderstand any error message you see.  There is no service pack 4 for Windows XP.  All reputable antivirus meant for Windows XP software will install on Windows XP service pack 3.  If you have problems to install antivirus software, your computer may already be infected.

You must install one antivirus resident program.  Do not install the Avast and AVG; Choose a.  You can have other anti-malware of on demand software.  The best of them is MalwareBytes AntiMalware (free).

If you would like more information, please proceed as follows:

1 display the full text, without paraphrasing, of any error message you get when you try to install a software of your choice.

    2. after the URL (link) of the Web site from which you downloaded the antivirus installation package.

    3. click on start, then run, then type the following command in the "Open" box and click OK

    Msinfo32.exe

When the windows of Information System fills, click on edit, and then click Select all. Click on edit, then click on copy.  Then paste (CTRL + V), the copied data in your response here.

  • Cannot connect to internet after upgrading to windows xp professional version 2002 service pack 1.

    Hello

My labtop is hp nc6000. I have upgraded to windows xp professional version 2002 service pack 1 and I can't connect to the internet.

I used another computer desktop to download service pack 2 and 3, but still cannot install these due to no internet connection.

I also tried to upgrade the drivers of hp nc6000 obtained from another computer, but received a message that the package cannot be decompressed - another copy must be obtained.

    Please help with kindness.

    Thank you.

Are you trying to connect wireless or ethernet cable? Have you checked your connections are enabled? If you use the wireless option, you use the hp or windows connection manager?

I sugest you try to connect with an ethernet cable and go to the network connection in Control Panel and check if your local connection is enabled. If you connect through a router has the DHCP settings.

If you use the wireless you will need to enter the connection as a new SSID and key details

    Hello Demars_will,

Thank you for your message.  There are a few known bugs for this problem.  Try these two steps:

    Try first to this step:
Put your XP CD in the CD drive.
Click "Start" > click "Run" > Type EXPAND/r 'TheCDDriveLetter' \i386\SPOOLSV. EXE C:\Windows\System32 and press "Enter."
Click "Start" > click "Run" > type SPOOLSV. EXE/install and press "Enter."

Click 'Start' > right click on 'My computer' > select 'manage '.
Click the (+) sign next to Services and Applications, under Select 'Services '.
On the right, locate and double-click "Print Spooler" > auto value startup > select 'Start' > click 'Apply and OK.

A test to see if the spooler has begun.

If this is not the case, click HERE for a registry change that may solve your problem.  There are a few different registry changes, I don't know if you have tried this one or not.

Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.

Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.

It will also tell you here what Service Packs, if any, are already installed.

Then, choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Packs, first of all the installation of SP1.

  • Problem with my pc running on Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3

Whenever I started in the last 2 weeks the date and time did not update automatically.

Despite the manual update each time by clicking on 'Apply' then 'ok' it still does not next time.

Example of today, the system was still dated Saturday last about 21:35, although the actual date and time was 12/11/11 and 11:22!

    Antivirus running analyses are virus-free.

The system works well, it's just that niggling question.

    Advice appreciated, thanks.

See your regional and Language Options in Control Panel and make sure you're ready for the correct location.  Also, I would check under Date and time and check your time zone.

I get the error message with the title "Adobe Connect Add-in has stopped working". The message said: "a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. "The only button I can click on is"close the program ". I made sure that the screen resolution is a multiple of 16 ("1280 by 768 pixels"), as this article says. I use Adobe Connect 9 with the 'named price model host. Does anyone have the solution to this problem? Thank you.

Do not know what could cause the problem, but Vista is not an operating system, for what it's worth.

I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the Flash Player and see if it helps Uninstall Flash Player | Windows.

It looks like not the resolution of the screen is the problem, as you mentioned, it should be something else. I would also recommend that you check your video drivers to see if there is an update, because who could help.
