Windows 7 screensaver stretches pictures.

How can I stop Windows 7 native stretching photos pictures screen saver? I don't have this problem in previous versions.

If you download and install Windows Live Photo Gallery and then go to the customization area by right clicking on your desktop, you can select Windows Live Photo Gallery as Saver screen and things will work as they did previously. photos will not be stretched.

  • menu Spry disappears when the window browser pulled/stretched manually

    Hello

    my menu spry seems to disappear when the browser window is pulled/stretched manually expand beyond a certain point. He himself the stack when the window manually reduced to a narrower format. This is regardless of the float property, either to the right or left.

    I'm still at the stage of construction of the building/dev...

    {.menuWrapper}

    float: right;

    width: 60%;

    margin-top:-38px;

    }

    Thank you!

    There are two problems here.

    1. when the browser is an average width, any adjustments in place, no problem

    2. when the browser is reduced in width, there is not good enough real estate menu bar, so the last item of the menu, and then double to the high slot the MenuBar

    3. when the browser is expanded, the bar of menus is able to escape alongside the image of c2c_logo, but because you set a top margin-38px, the menu bar springs out of sight.

    Solution:

    1 give the menu bar more real estate to remove white space next to the actual image, which makes the smaller image or the default method, change the image to a background image. The latter will provide the best way to provide the necessary space for the menu bar.

    2. After doing the above, you will notice that the menu bar disappeared once more, the top margin should therefore be adapted. The top margin will be in the region of 120px

  • Windows cannot find the pictur error ~ 1.exe

    Windows cannot find pictur ~ 1.exe error, when you click ok then pictur ~ 2.exe cannot be found, and then click ok and imagev ~ 1.exe is not found. Happen sporatically throughout the day and the error messages inspire each other to end up with dozens of the same error message in the task bar. There is no pictur ~ 1.exe in msconfig. You need to determine how to make this error go away, or which is looking for this program, or to all the less determine where it is sought.

    Although I always think you should ask the help of expert antimalware, if you want to dig a little deeper on your own, here are 3 ideas, neither has no guarantee of success:

    1. take a look in the event viewer (start > run > eventvwr > OK) and see if error messages are displayed that give the name of the routine which tries to launch these exe files.

    2. learn to use the process monitor (and, perhaps, Process Explorer).  These are powerful tools, and the learning curve is a bit steep.  I can't help you here.  See the links in the sidebar or the other of the two pages linked above.  You can start by watching the video here.

    3. in association with the use of Process Monitor, create an exe file with the name that appears in your error message and save it in a folder that is in your path (for example, C:\Windows).  You can make a copy of an existing such as Notepad.exe exe file and rename it to picture ~ 1.exe or create an exe of your own by using a tool like ExeScript.  If you get real ambitious, you might learn a little windows script (for example, this tutorial) and have your exe file displays the name of the process that called it (again, to help you with this is beyond my skills).

    If you try one of these ideas and are able to go to the bottom of your problem, please post back with the details so that others (especially me) can learn.

    1. in the Solution Explorer window, click on [organize] menu item.

    3. click on the [view] tab.

    Hello cathygrasso,

    To have a windows.old folder you made a custom at one time Setup.

    The windows.old folder contains Photos, music, etc. from the previous installation.

    After a Custom Installation, you will need to copy your data.

    You don't say if you're worried about losing your data from your current Installation or from the windows.old folder.

    I recently installed Windows 7 and now the screen saver will not work.  I have been informed that there is a problem in the Windows 7 operating system.  How can I solve the problem?  Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    There may be several problems with this behavior. The most common is a device that is active on the system and prevents the screen saver to detect a State of inactivity for time-out set...

    One of the most frequent reasons for the behavior you described is caused by one of the VOIP, such as MagicJack devices. If this unit is used, see the following link.

  • How my camera compatible with Windows to download the pictures

    I have windows 7 on my computer at home, but my camera supports Windows xp 64-bit will work I have to download to download my photos?

    I have windows 7 on my computer at home, but my camera supports Windows xp 64-bit will work I have to download to download my photos?

    ===========================================
    OK... something to try...

    Connect the camera to the computer via a USB cable and
    Turn on the camera.

    Reach... Start / computer / removable devices
    Storage...

    Look at the drive letters and see if one of them
    represents the camera. He can say removable disk

    If the camera is recognized... right click on the drive letter
    and from the menu choose... Open or explore.

    The directory of the memory card in the camera must
    poster and if you browse through the various
    files, you must find the photo files.

    Once found... you can copy/paste the pictures in a folder
    on your hard drive.

    Simple and the best solution IMHO is to use an internal
    or external USB memory card reader.

    It will not drain your camera batteries and can be faster.
    FWIW... download from the camera when batteries
    can be low after a long photo shoot could result
    corrupted photos.

  • Windows wil lnot open pictures says windows cannot find the file (photos were recorded he said before that)

    Windows will not open photos says windows cannot find the file (photos have been saved he previously said)

    Thank you

    Hello

    I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. Form when you try to open pictures? Is it in Photo Viewer?
    2. What type of files you are trying to open?
    3. You are able to open the photos in the Photos App?
    4. What is the brand and model of the computer?
    5. You did changes to the computer before this problem?

    I suggest you to try the steps below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

    Method 1: Run the utility to search and index and check.

    a. press the Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.

    b. click on Troubleshooting.

    c. Select display all on the upper left corner.

    d. perform research and solving problems of indexing.

    Method 2: Restart the Windows Search service and check.

    (a) press Windows + R key and type "services.msc" and press ENTER.

    (b) locate the Windows Search service and right-click on it.

    (c) click Properties and check that the start option has been activated.

    Method 3: If the problem persists, I suggest you to run a full scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner (MSS) to ensure that the computer is virus-free.

    The Microsoft Safety Scanner free is a downloadable security tool that allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malicious software. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

    Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Windows 8 how burn pictures on the disc please?

    Hello

    I just upgraded to Windows 8 and I found it very handy until I have came to burn pictures on a disc, can not find how do.

    It is said that they are ready to burn, but does not give you a link.

    In the drop-down action menu it says burn to disc, but when I click it a window appears but nothing happens?

    Ta!

    If you're still having problems with this, or someone else who has difficulties, it's a simple solution.

    I had trouble too and found this site to answer my question... which none of the answers helped. Once I figured out I thought I might as well try to help my fellow burners. :)

    When the screen appears and says that they are waiting to be burned or are ready to burn it you go to 'Manage' in the upper left corner. Until it clicks. A toolbar appears at the bottom, and tools will tell 'Finish burning' (or something to that effect.) Until it clicks.

    A pop up should you name the CD. Appoint you. And bam. It burns the CD and he jumps right out when it's over.

    Really simple just really hidden.

    I hope this helps! If I need to be more detailed please answer, I would be happy to help in anyway.
