  • Windows mail problem receiving emails - error 0x800CCC0F

I have Windows mail 6.0.6000.16386 v..  For some time now, it has become progressively more reluctant to receive emails, to the point at which it now 'expires' leaving me with error 0x800CCC0F.  I can send emails without any problem, but need to use Webmail to retrieve messages.  Any ideas?  Bob.

Try to compact and repair the database of WinMail (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  Attention also to the antivirus interference that may lead to problems (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).  You can also try to remove your e-mail account, then closing and reopening WinMail and add it again.  Sometimes, the parameters for a given account are 'lost' and which solves the problem.

You can also check to see if a webmail access works very well, if you have this ability.

  • Windows 7 live receives but cannot send

I can receive messages but when I try to send IO get the following message is displayed:

The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] Server may need to be configured. To find the server settings for * address email is removed from the privacy *', please contact your e-mail service provider.

    Subject 'test '.
    Server error: 451
    Server response: 451 denied outgoing mail - 174.96.173.193 - see http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/residential-home/support/topics/internet/email-setup.html [R0209002]
    Server: 'mail.twc.com '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC79
    Protocol: SMTP
    Port: 587
    Secure (SSL): No.

I lived all the parameters with Time Warner, and they are correct.  I can send email from the web server to my PC, but not on my PC.

I did send message using my email through TWC MAIL and webmail twc is good and works.  TWC has been able to configure parameters (server settings)
but still get the error.  The TWC server settings are mail.twc.com (incoming and outgoing server), the incoming port: 110, outbound port: 587

This just started happening after I sent a message with the help of a group of addresses that contains an error.

I could export for more security. If you use email online (such as Yahoo/Gmail/Outlook/MSN/Live), so all your data is safe and "in the cloud", you can re - install any time (or even get a new computer) without losing anything.

But given that you use e-mail TWC, AddressBook and emails are only stored on your hard drive, which means uninstalling is probably going to lose them.  It's a very "1990" handle mail way and I do not recommend.  Most hard drives die after 5 years - but that's just the average average, some die prematurely.  And that's to say nothing of what happens if there is a fire, disaster, flood, or other event (flight or drop your laptop) is not return the whereabouts data.  Best recommendation that I can have is to use Outlook.com (or another service of your choice) to ingest your emails in a cloud backup location.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Windows Live Messenger receives but cannot send - BB8310 on Rogers

I installed Windows Live Messenger on my Rogers BB 8310.  I have no problem running it, I can log in and see my contacts.  Also said them that I'm connected using a wireless device.

They type in messages will appear on the screen of BB.  However, when I type a message and press on send, I get the following error message: "your message could not be sent. (Error: there is a problem with the server.)  Please try again later.)

Nobody at Roges support includes even the question, and still less be able to answer.

Found the solution.   The authorization would be put on BES.  Everything is fine!

  • Windows Mail telling me connection lost and unable to receive emails.

original title: How can I receive emails?

I have Vista home basic system. I use Windows Mail to receive emails. Use for at least 5 years. Recently I get the error message saying my connection lost. Cannot receive emails. I can send.

It could be your ISP server is on the fritz or your antivirus software has got the update and broke things.  Check www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 and also check your account via webmail if you can to check what is not not a problem on the server side.  Alternatively, you can try to compact and repair the database to try and solve the problem (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).

  • Outlook Express cannot send and receive emails and cannot sync to the phone.

    Hello

I'm a Microsoft Online Customer Service, which contacts on behalf of my client. My client has problem with Outlook Express, which cannot send and receive emails, and cannot sync to the phone. He receives this error message below:

The host 'SMTP' could not be found. Please check that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'POP3', server: 'SMTP', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 11001, error number: 0x800CCC0D

I'm not sure of the sync with the phone number, but the account settings are not yet near. SMTP is not a host name or a server name. You must find the correct POP3 server settings.

  • I can receive emails, but cannot send suddenly.

I can receive emails, but cannot send suddenly.  I get a message of rejected authentication.  It seems to have started after I upgraded to El Capitan.  At that point, I lost all my mails, but they reappeared a few weeks later.  Why I can't send emails?  Once I put them in a folder I can't access it from Xfinity so I can't answer.

Use the Mail connection doctor to make sure that your SMTP server settings are correct.

SMTP means Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, but if you want an easy way to remember what he does - send messages to people.

Mail (El Capitan): Use the connection doctor

You can try to use the e-mail search tool to check the correct e-mail settings.  E-mail service providers change their settings without talking to Apple for the Apple software may be updated.

    https://www.Apple.com/support/mail-settings-lookup/

If Apple does not settings from your e-mail service provider, this means that your email service provider did not give them to Apple.  If this is the case, you will need to contact them and ask for the correct SMTP server settings.

  • I can receive emails, but cannot send on my dell mini that I use when traveling. error-0x800ccc6a

I can receive emails, but cannot send on my dell mini that I use when traveling.   My internet provider (and that of the hotel) said that there
"coming out of email corruption ' ' and must be repaired.   Help

On the road, most of the providers are blocking SMTP Port 25. Frontiernet is no different.

Note that this completely mentions authentication. I would put Frontier and make sure the SMTP port, you need to use. Once changed, it will work in the home and on the road.

  • -ERA [AUTH] username/password invalid. I use MS2007 0n a windows xp system. When I try to send/receive emails, the system remember my password, it will not except my password.

About 3 months ago, I started to apply the zone enter the network password in Outlook when I tried to send/receive email.  I was using WIndows 2003.  I worked with my ISP, that would be to delete and recreate my email accounts (sometimes it would work for a day or so, but the problem will come back).  Microsoft has stated that they do not support Windows 2003 and recommended that update for 2007.  A day after the upgrade, the message reappears.  I had my speed of the laptop and hard drive updated and cleaned for any potential problem, but the problem still exists.
