  I came to this point: during installation PROCESS, almost at the end of this message pop up "'WINDOWS Setup COULD NOT CONFIGURE WINDOWS TO RUN on THIS COMPUTER HARDWARE".

  My PC is: ENVY dv6 7214tx

  3rd gener. Intel Core i7-3630qm

  processor 2.4 GHz

  1 TB HARD DRIVE

  8192 MB DDR3 SDRAM

  Blu - ray optical drive

  Windows 8

  NVIDIA GeForce graphics card

  WLAN & Bluetooth

  I changed boot to the DVD - ROM option, SUPPORT of LEGACY enabled, disabled SECURE BOOT.

  What it might useful to you guys, it's the actual installation takes apx. 5 hours, then he came to the point of pop up window mentioned above.

One day, I had no problems and the next, I am unable to find all the networks.  When I try to connect to a network, I get a message that Windows cannot find any network.  When diagnosing why link is clicked I get an error dialog box "Windows Wireless Service is not running on this computer. When the Windows network diagnostics dialogue box I click on 'Start Windows Wireless Service' and then told me that Windows cannot resolve the problem and ask contact me my network administrator or ISP.

  I tried several fixes of different forums and nothing has worked.  I ran the antivirus scans that have not found anything.  Y at - it a fix for this problem?

  1 have you checked the State of the wireless autoconfiguration WLAN service in the services window?
  2. do you have any security software installed on the computer?
  3. have you made changes on the computer recently?
   
  We will first try to manually start the wireless service, i.e. the WLAN AutoConfig service. To do this, connect to the computer as an administrator.
  1. Click Start, type services.msc and press to enter.
  2. Locate the autoconfiguration WLAN service, double-click to open its properties window.
  3. on the general tab, change the startup type to automatic and click on the Start button.
  4. click on apply, then ok.
   
  Try to connect to the wireless connection and check the result.
   
  If the service still does not start, run the System File Checker tool to scan the computer for the corrupt system files and automatically correct. To run a sfc scan, try the steps mentioned in this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

  TO activate the wireless service: click Start, type services.msc and press ENTER. Scroll down to 'wireless zero configuration' and right-click on it and select Properties. Set it to automatic and not Diaslbed and press the Start button, and then click OK.   HP computers have been known to not let you install Vista on a non HP bought replacement hard drive

  There were a few posters with this problem here

  If the OEM disc for this particular laptop, you should be able to reinstall it as many times as you want as long as you have not changed the main material (the motherboard)

  You can change the hard drives, RAM, etc.

  I presume that you boot from the Vista DVD

  Peter-try completely remove Adobe Flash Player, and then reinstall. I did this on my machine and will need to see in the next few days if this has worked for me or not because I don't know how to manually recreate the guest. Best of luck and post back how it goes!

  If you use an ordinary W7 installation DVD and use no recovery disc, the most common cause of this error is the lack of SATA drivers.

  Download and extract these files on a usb flash drive. First file listed is for W7 64 bit.

  Plug the flash drive into your laptop and start your installation of W7 DVD.

  When you get to install it now click on that and click the option advanced player options.

  Then choose load a driver.  You should now see all the sata on your USB drivers.

  You can check a box and it will include the compatible sata driver to install.

  Proceed from there, and I hope that will install W7.
