Windows 7 shows that is not authentic

Greetings,
I have a laptop with Windows 7 I bought at Best Buy.  The machine came with Windows 7 Home.  I then bought the "Anytime Upgrade" to Windows 7 Professional.  Gets the activation code by following the instructions on the card, entered the numbers in the fields on Windows 7 upgrade.  The computer has done its thing, restarted and worked as Windows 7 Professional.  The next time I start the machine, it has a black background and a message in the lower right corner telling me my copy of Windows to non-genuine.  How can this be?  Windows has been installed on the PC by the manufacturer (ran since April fine without any problem), then once I've upgraded to Windows 7 Professional using the Express upgrade, I get a Windows is not real error message.  Any ideas?  In addition, as an info - this computer never saw the Internet and will not be connected to the internet, so I know that there were no viruses.  Thank you

Usually, automatic activation no is not made after an upgrade Express and you will need to manually call this.

I think that maybe it's time to admit defeat on this one - there is obviously a problem with permissions from somewhere, but I have no idea where to look next, so it would be surgery tingling at best.

You may be able to repair the system with a repair installation, you need a disk with SP1 integrated. If your current is not SP1, then download one using links from this site...

    http://www.heidoc.NET/Joomla/technology-science/Microsoft

and burn the ISO to disk (don't just copy it)

and follow the instructions for installation of repair by http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

Sorry, I could not identify the cause!

  • My computer says that is not authentic, if it is authentic.

My computer argues it is a non-genuine version of Windows 7, I got a message when logging, asking to buy, ask for help, or continue, as well as the black desktop and the corner error message. My computer is completely authentic, he had a problem before, and windows was installed on a different drive, which was also, perfectly authentic. It was about 9 months ago, and so far, I have never received any message claiming that is not authentic.

I have run the program from another forum that I've seen, to see the results of the analysis, and I'll post them in my next post as soon as I get a reply.

    Your installation is a counterfeit.

The key used is the infamous stolen Lemovo key - which was never properly installed in a lgeitimate system.

You must request a refund from your provider.

You should order a your manufacturer revoery disc set to be able to reinstall your original operating system-if you then upgrade to the full edition, you will need to purchase an upgrade to legitimate a form or another.

  • We need a replacement for Windows Home Server that does not cost $700

We need a replacement for windows home server that does not cost as much as a PC. 2011 is not really available and 2008 has compatibility problems, because it is based on XP and Server 2003. None of the motherboard manufactures will support XP (thanks to MS) and more recent SATA drives do not work in my motherboard more old.

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

How to uninstall windows vista if it is not authentic

    Hello

You do not uninstall as such.

You would normally buy a legitimate operating system disk / license and do a clean install with it, by removing the non-genuine Vista during the installation process.

Or you can download this program (Darik Boot and Nuke) > make a Bootable Disk with him > Boot and wipe the hard drive of everything:

    http://www.DBAN.org/

You can buy a legitimate operating system if you want to continue to use this computer.

  • Windows 7 Pro (OEM) suddenly not authentic

    Hello

We have a Dell Vostro computer laptop that was preloaded with Windows 7 Pro and have had it for about 2 years.    In recent weeks, Windows began to vomit warnings that Windows was not genuine, and we can also download updates Windows on it.   No changes were made to the computer, and does not install any major software or changes were made.

Looking at work - properties, it shows that Windows is activated.  In addition, if we run the WGA Diagnostic tool, it shows that Windows is genuine and activated.   So, we are really confused on this issue.

Dell support had us try a few things, which included the re - enter the product key (using the key on the sticker of MS, which is located on the computer) and forcing activation to run again.  Finally, they said that we had to reinstall Windows (what?) or call Microsoft technical support.  And the right to call Microsoft's $400 or $500.

Everyone else ran into this and found a solution?   We also tried updating the BIOS of the machine, without change.

Windows has detected a feat of activation. You have a Hewlett-Packard slic table in a Gateway computer. It was put there by a pirates load program.
You need to reinstall your windows to get rid of it unless you can undo everything that has been used.
  • my windows defender shows that it is off, whats with that?

When I check-in for the security of my computer, a window tells me that windows defender is disabled; I followed the directions as to what to do, but no luck. I would like to clean my computer, because I recently had a virus that affected my hotmail.

    Thank you kindly, annie

    Hello

    ·          What anti-virus program do you use?

    ·          Windows operating system you are using?

Some security/antivirus/antispyware products can cause this error. Try to uninstall the antivirus program, and check.

Some third-party antivirus software will turn off automatically Windows Defender if the antivirus software has already built defender.

Note: don't forget to enable antivirus if the issue is resolved.

  • Windows 7 says that's not true, after being installed for some time. Does system restore or recovery.

I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit for system integrators that I purchased from newegg. It has been installed since April / May and worked fine until now. I've tried some other solutions to this problem, and none of them seemed to work for me. Here are the diagnostic information.

    Hello Craig and Biggttee,

Thanks for posting your question on the forum of the Microsoft community.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
I suggest you try run MGADiag.exe and check.
    See this link:
    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52012

If this does not help, then use method 2.

    Method 2:
Please follow these steps and check the issue.

    a. Click Start, type cmd in the start search box.

    b. right click on cmd and select run as administrator.

    c. type the following command at the command prompt and press ENTER.

    net stop sppsvc

(It may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)

Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, that's ok.

    d. type the following command one by one and press ENTER after each command:

    CD %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

    Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat

    CD %windir%\system32

    net start sppsvc

    slui.exe

    e. Activation of Windows dialog box will appear. You may need to reactivate and to re - enter your product key or Activation can occur automatically.

    f. run the MGADiag.

Please also refer to the advice given in this link: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/6d5e9a33-e7ca-4b2e-9d1f-2774a622cacf/validation-code-50?forum=genuinewindows7

    I hope this information helps.

    Thank you
