Windows 7 to automatically connect to the network after the standby or Hibernate mode

This just started two days ago after an automatic update Windows 7.  Whenever I wake up my laptop, I have to manually connect to the wireless network.  He used to connect on its own.  Not changed anything with the network or router.  I have the connection to connect automatically, but it doesn't.  He, however, automatically connect when I start the computer.  I tried all the tricks of problems of the past... I see the network and it will connect and works fine after that I have to manually connect.  Just can't understand why, all of a sudden, he stops connection.  Again, this started 2/10 after a Windows automatic update... it seems that all updates have been security patches and I hesitate to uninstall them because I don't really know what one of them is.

Yes! I think that I fixed it. I tried all this without result. Then it hit me. Turn off the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is fine and good, but what the USB port? They can do this also. "' Go to the Device Manager and do a right click, Yes, the network adapter and uncheck this box, but also do it for the" USB Root Hub "under"controllers of Bus USB.

  • My PC (Windows 7), will automatically connect to the new networks unknown wireless is in the range. I want to stop it.

I found a variety of positions that describe how to disable the "connect automatically" option for a specific network you connected to in the past (via 'manage wireless networks), for example:

They do not resolve my problem because my computer connects automatically on * new, unknown * networks that I've never connected to the front (and also, even after it connects to these networks, they do not appear in the list under 'Manage wireless networks').
Apparently, it set to the default behavior to automatically connect to the new network he meets, and I need that to turn off. Thank you.

  • Portege M750 restarts after the standby or Hibernate mode

Since I remmember I use my laptop with activate the sleep and hibernation features.
A couple of days, it started not to restart after the sleep or Hibernate mode.

You have to take the battery or current alternative, then it starts but without taking the sleep/hibernate.

Another thing is that when you press the switch on the alternating current led, which is normally green button, it flashes yellow with some sort of a code long and short flashes.

This happens with different OS cause I tried to reinstall and the problem persists.

    > Another thing is that when you press the switch on the alternating current led, which is normally green button, it flashes yellow with some kind of code long and short flash

I know that if there is a failure of memory the * power indicator * flashes repeatedly on and off the power (0.5 sec) if there is an error in the slot A the indicator would blink twice in orange, and then green.
If there is an error in the B slot, the LED will Flash orange and green twice.
If the error is in the two slots, the LED flashes twice green and orange.

By the way: it's your BIOS up-to-date?

  • The computer is not automatically connect to the printer

Sorry, I don't know exactly where to put this question, looking for any help I can get.

Hi, I work with someone who has a range of printers hp 2035 connected to a desktop computer running windows vista. another person has a laptop running windows 7. It obviously takes the laptop home, and every morning when he connects to his computer laptop back to the network it can see the printer, but not to print on it. HOWEVER, it can print a test page, and after that, it is good to go, until his laptop computer goes idle, date to print a test page to print again to it.

Looks like the computer is not automatically connect to the printer, but idk a permanent solution, guessing just a bit at the moment and it made the test page thing, but is a bit of waste paper right? any help would be appreciated.

UH... I don't know any way for volumes of BB to the card and display without the running Device Manager. You may have a few weird things configured on your computer, deleting things from appearing in the system tray? Very strange... is the desktop running software? When it is, and the device is connected, the device manager must run.

If you really can't find it, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the Desktop software and try again, this time not to select this option as you go.

  • Try to connect to the wireless computer after freshly installed Windows says I am connected to the router, but I have no internet access

    Original title: connection problem

Hello! I recently did a clean installation of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and I use a wireless USB adapter. Windows says I am connected to the router, but I have no internet access, and I have this yellow on trinagle. Work of all my other Windows 7 PCs, but this one. Could someone help me? Thank you!

    Hello

Welcome to the community forums of Microsoft and thanks for posting the question. I've surely you will help find a solution on the issue. I see that you are unable to connect to the wireless network after you perform a new installation.

I suggest you to consult the steps described in the article:

    Method 1:

You can try the steps in the link and check.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/wired-and-wireless-network-connection-problems-in-Windows

You can update the driver of windows 7 on the manufacturer's Web site.

    Method 2:

You can remove and re-create the wireless network connection, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, type ncpa.cpl , and then press on Enter.
    b. right click on your wireless network connection and then click Properties.
    c. click the wireless networks tab.
    d. under preferred networks, click your Wireless
network and then click on remove. e. click on view Wireless networks.
    f. under management of the network, click refresh the network list.
    g. under Choose a wireless network, click the wireless network to which you want to connect, and then click Connect.

    Method 3:

If the steps above don't you can uninstall and reinstall the NIC drivers and check with the question.

    a. click on Start menu, in the Search tab type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

    b. right click on network adapters and click Uninstall and restart the computer.

    c. after rebooting, install network cards and check with the question.

    Method 4:

You can temporarily disable the antivirus and firewall on the computer and see if it helps:
    Enable or disable Windows Firewall
NOTE: Turn off Windows Firewall might make your computer (and your network, if you have one) more vulnerable to damage caused by worms or hackers.
You can see the following link to disable the Antivirus installed on your computer software.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks

Please follow these recommended steps and post if you still experience the problem. I'd be happy to help you further.
  • Internet connection problem; A few days ago, my computer (Windows 7 OS) stopped connecting to the internet. DNS

A few days ago, my computer (Windows 7 OS) stopped connecting to the internet. When I troubleshooted, it produces an error of "your computer seems to be configured correctly, but the device or resource (DNS server) does not. I Googled it and tried a lot of things that have been suggested - flushing the DNS, reseting the TCP/IP, etc... None of them worked. At the end of the day, I did a restore of the system to a restore point a few days before starting my computer having these problems and then it started working again. But whenever I have to stop and restart my computer, the problem happens again. Any help as to what could be the problem or how I can fix this problem would be much appreciated!

You have McAfee? McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and this is the cause of problems of internet connection for most, if not all, users of McAfee.

See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee

Some customers may experience a loss of network connectivity and/or errors in McAfee Security Center after a recent update

You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.
