Windows 7: Wifi works is not in safe or normal mode

Hello

After a BIOS recent update HP my Wifi (light-F12 key) was first released in normal mode, but it still worked in safe mode. Then after a few fault-finding, he then went out in safe mode! I have a F12 button that works as a button on / off for Wifi, is 'white', is "red". Currently affects in break mode and does not turn white.
I tried the following methods to try to get it working again, but nothing helps: -.
Device Manager: network card: Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller - uninstall > restart > reinstall * Wifi does not
Network adapter HP and Realtec driver update * both completed successfully. WFII does not
Restore Windows to previous 1 month * restore complete. WiFi doesn't work do not
BIOS check to make sure that the adapter is enabled * adapter "Enabled". WiFi doesn't work do not
BIOS check keys F * F keys ok. * Wifi does not
COMODO antivirus, uninstalled and reinstalled * Wifi does not
Then I took drastic measures back the laptop to the factory setting and by a return to the top of an external drive. Last backup date was June 2013. * This does not solve the problem either.
Is my laptop spec:

I know it must be something to do with the software, as it worked fine, then stopped working in normal mode, but worked in safe mode. Then stopped working in safe mode also.
LAN cable connection works very well with the laptop.
Thanks for the advice/help you can give me
Graham

According to what you have done, I suspect a hardware problem, possibly with the onboard wireless adapter.

    If you are not able to start Windows try first HARD drive recovery option:

    Download your applications and devices in Windows 8.1

    Don't forget to check the updates of the firmware on the router, because who can have a definite effect
    on connections Windows 8.1 same if other OS systems connections are fine.

    Check with support of the system (motherboard for customized systems manufacturer) manufacturer or the manufacturer of the real device driver updates. If there is no newer versions re - install the same. Ask known in their forums (if any) problems.

  • WLan / WiFi works does not properly on the Satellite C55C-C-16f

    Hello

    I just bought the laptop toshiba Toshiba Satellite C55C-C-16f mentioned in the title, and there seems to be something wrong with the WiFi adapter.

    Sometimes it connects to the WiFi, but most often, when I start the computer (whether by or stand when it is off), it finds no network and cannot connect to my WiFi router. Usually, when I restart the computer all of a sudden does ot connects to the network. I tried the filming of standard Windows problems, but it can not find problems or repair.

    I hope you can help!

    Best regards

    I just have the same problem with my new ray. If I have more than 2 m from the router, the reception is 1 bar. Most often the laptop can't find any network.
    I tried to put maximum performance in energy saving mode, but it doesn't change anything...

    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
  • HP elitebook 6930p wifi works does not after imaging system
    I recently created an image of a hp elitebook 6930p and cloned it, when I noticed that the wifi does not work (although he was working at some point before I start Imaging). If I use an ethernet connection, internet works fine.
    I am running windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit on them.
    I have a good number of them and I installed a fresh windows OS on one and there is no problem with the wifi.
    1. Tap the Panel fast wifi 'button': when information, fast volume buttons work, the wifi is not
    2. reset the default settings in the bios: Unfortunately, these laptops were given to us and there is a password on the bios. I tried to enter anything. I'm afraid to push more in case there is a measure of protection against theft on too many failed password
    What else can I do to fix this?
    Have you checked HP Connection Manager?
  • Windows 8 keyboard works do not, but just for a specific profile (NOT a hardware problem)!
    Hey people this is the strangest question.   Device Surface RT of my wife had the keyboard AND the small button of windows on the prior to completely stop working.   The game mouse and left and right mouse keys still work.   Also, there is still a small noise when you press the keys, but nothing appears on the screen.   I tried to plug and reconnect the cover touch, tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers, and then I put in place a whole new profile on the machine and the button keyboard and windows worked fine.    Then I connected to our desktop PC of Windows 8 with my wife and found that the keyboard does not work there either!   Maybe there is a setting or another that has been altered in its account of Microsoft and now the setting is homelessness... it's the strangest problem.   Has anyone ever heard talk about him?     I consider just ditching her account and setting it up with a new one but it has invested heavily in ongoing one since it is also his e-mail address and she had a bunch of applications.
    Thank you
    Mike
    None of these methods did the trick.   The real solution was to change a configuration setting in the center of the "ease of access".   I had a setting called "Turn on filter keys" turned on, as well as some detailed within this feature options.   It was probably the result of my daughter for 3 years getting there when I wasn't looking :-).    Given that I had roaming profile through devices settings, it affects all devices connected to this account.   After that I fixed it in the same place, the new setting propagated to the others and the problem was solved!   I hope that my pain on this is useful to someone else in the future who runs into this problem.
    In addition, I hope that Windows 8 product team numbers how 'error proof' this 'feature' which is configurable in the next update of product, since I can't imagine any scenario of "ease of use" could involve expanding the physical buttons on the keyboard and windows stop working while still making small noises as if they work.
