Cannot download the software because the entry in the downloads window says "canceled."
Internet access: Juno dial-up. Browser: Firefox 18.0.2. OS: Windows XP Pro. No antivirus program. I could not download the software of three websites. When the Firefox downloads window opens, it lists the file I want to download, but under this file is called a message that reads, "cancelled - (name of the Web site)." What can cause a download to be cancelled? How can I avoid this and get the download?
The software which I have been unable to download is: Adobe.com: Acrobat Reader and Flash Player. of kodak.com: the software in support of my camera Kodak digital photo; of mozilla.org: Thunderbird. If I followed the instructions from Adobe and double-click the file name in the window of downloads, the download product, but it seems to be a travesty of download. When it's over, nothing more, and when I search the entire hard drive for the file to be downloaded, it is not found. The data seem to have simply disappeared. I took two screenshots of a cancelled Thunderbird download, but I do not see how to reach this question.Click on this link

Anyone else having this same problem? I don't want to get charged again. I just want to cancel, but the service lead me to a window which cancels my plan.

Sometimes by selecting an existing tab will lead to open in a new window. Why?
Firefox browser runs and have a Yahoo homepage and another tab in this window with Yahoo mail. Sometimes have other tabs open in the same window as well. Sometimes, when you move (switching) from one tab to the other tab that I pass will open in a new window itself, rather than stay in the original window. Why does this happen? Please look at the problem.
Make sure that you do not drag a tab slightly downwards in the browser window by clicking.
The current versions of Firefox have a feature called tabs.
You can detach a tab in the current window and open in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.
You can also do this via the context menu of a tab: switch to the new window
You can drag the tab to the tab bar in the original window to cancel this detachment.bug489729 (Disable detach and tear off tab):

I have several tabs open. I want to look at one of them and I click on it. Instead of simply switch to this tab, Firefox opens a new window. Very annoying! Why does do this and, more importantly, how to make it stop?

FF 32.0.1. Move between the tabs that are already open, clicking on which I opened before forced to close and open in a new window, which is a real pain. It seems to happen when I have 4 or 5 tabs open, rather than 2 or 3.
Only, this happened last week, once reinstalled a clean Windows.
I searched and found a lot of people have problems with the new windows that open when they want just a new tab, but this seems to be on the opening of the fresh rather than return to already open tabs, so I can't find the same problem I describe.

When I play a video and open another tab, the tab with the video will change sometimes in a new window. I click on something specific to change the tab in a window, he'll do just a few minutes after I opened the new tab. Does anyone have an idea on how to avoid this. Thank you!

How can awesome bar - I stop the auto switch to another window which has the same open site.
Several times I want multiple copies of a site open, like to watch several mappings. But when I enter a new window mapquest.com , FireFox switches back me on the window that already has a copy of mapquest open. I can do things to get a 2nd copy open, but it's quite tedious. How can I disable this automatic switch for the other window? FireFox on Windows Vista Edition 12.0 Home Premium SP2
- CTRL + left click or Middle-click the Reload button to open the current page in a new tab.
- CTRL + left click or Middle-click points in the history of the buttons back and forward to open a page from this list in a new tab.
- Duplicate a tab with its history by pressing CTRL and dragging the tab in a new position on the tab bar.
- By dragging a tab in the window of the browser will detach from the tab and move in a new window, it is called tab tearing.
- Drag a tab to the tab bar in the original or the anthers window to cancel a detachment or move a tab of a specific window. If a window is empty (you rock the last tab) then this window will be closed automatically.
- You can use ALT + D to set the focus to the address bar and use ALT + Enter to open the current page in a new tab (no need to release the ALT key).
Check and tell if its working.

How can I turn off the engine of the window?
How can I disable the function or when you move somewhere one of your tabs this tab closes and opens in a new window? Because it's ridiculous when I go in one tab to another if it dragged on even a little this tab closes and opens in a new window and I can lose something that I was doing and I start over again if I do some thing else, but the browser in the background sometimes this tab also closes and opens in a new window. Yet once how can I disable this feature?
