  I'm not very tech savy and I'm not the owner of the PC, so I don't know all about it so go easy on me :).

  If your friend tried to reinstall Windows by using the defined gateway recovery disc (and this is the best way) and this recovery fails, the laptop has hardware problems. Disassemble laptops is a fickle business at best and while it sounds like the hardware problems started before your friend did this, it may have put the nails in the coffin of the laptop to take apart.

  At this point, you can try troubleshooting hardware or your friend can take the laptop to a competent professional (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place). However, if the laptop has had hard use, your friend must remember that a cell of 4 years with major hardware problems probably won't be cost effective to repair.

  Scenario:

  I have page P1 which is based on the AM1 and VO1. P1, I have a link item that opens a page P2 as pop-up window (using the framework target = _blank). Page P2 is just reading one page where I show some details. It is based on the same AM1 and another object view VO2. In the processRequest of P2, I just run the VO2 and view records.
  
  The problem:
  ===========
  Now when I close the popup window (I close with the X window button or 'Close' with javascript:window:close(); button I on P2). I'm on P1 and make changes, and then press the 'Save' P1 button that sends the form.
  
  At this point in time, the control is entered the processRequest of the base page P1 and it is at the origin of the code executed and stale data illustrated errors.
  
  So basically I know not why the obsolete data error is coming, because of the command by entering the processRequest of P1. But how to avoid is my concern.

  When you open the pop up screen, define a variable as part of the operation. Now in the page P1 processRequest, look for the value of this transaction and if it is set, donot run the initialization code. Also donot forget to reset the variable of the transaction. Hope the idea helps.

  My son has a laptop of game.  Since last week, he experienced extreme problems.  A constant if the following errors: 0xc000012f and the KERNEL DATA PAGE FAULT.  Although I'm not technologically savvy, I tried the obvious in running virus scan and visiting different communities for troubleshooting tips.  When you run the antivirus (paid service) analysis, the system hangs and the system restarts.  I attended ASUS website in the hope of getting more advice than to have to provide access to the laptop of my son to a technician who gave me some insurance for the better part of 45 minutes that he help and troubleshooting problems.  He highlighted a very detailed chart of downtown action (reliable?), which looked pretty serious.  Suffice it to say, the conversation ended when he asked a one-time fixed fee of $200.  When I refused, he went to stop everything.  I would simply like to take any action that will further damage the laptop of my son. I paid $3K for this system.  Is someone can you please help me solve these problems?  I was going to buy a registry cleaner but was informed in an online community chat room not to do so that these products are not reliable.  Thank you all in advance for your review and taking the time to help me.

  Anyway, the Action Center has begun randomly telling me that the Windows Firewall is disabled. When I try to start or return to the default settings, it tells me that it is not able to do.

  I keep coming the blue screen and with an error message saying "Kernel data inpage error" and it's really annoying because its so common and when the error occurs, it just reboots my computer everything and removing all my unsaved work. It becomes really annoying that it happened 5 times yesterday before I got bored and did a reset. After the factory reset - I still continue to get the error message. How can I fix it?

  It seems to me to get the data entry error on my windows kernel 8 all the days. I ran chkdsk many times before, Defrag, reinstalled a clean copy and ran virus, malware scans.

  Kernel error of data entry displays the blue screen and restarts and is very well after the restart, but a few days later, the error will appear again. Please help on how I can fix this?

  They are usually related to a problem with HD.  Before running CHKDSK I would remove Avast and express cache (both are know-how BSOD)

  1. tried and waited several minutes before running update several times.  Shut the computer down and restarted all day long.

Downloaded difficulty It Center and run the update patch.  There were a few difficulties but set does not completely the problem.  Note: during the installation of Fix It, I received the following message: "MATSWiz.exe---C:\Windows\system32\dssenh.dll bad Image is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media o contact your system administrator or support software provider. »
  3. Follow-up KB836941 - manually disabled my disabled Trend Micro Security, accelerators software on IE. turned on the Defender.
  4. Updated defender and necessary - then received the error.  I had to manually download the update of the Defender due to errors.  Obtained working Defender.  Don't recall the KB, I followed this.
  5. Then downloaded Windows Update Agent - the program fix did not work.  Checked to host files and proxy servers - no.
  6. Difficulty he asked responded and he couldn't have sent me this forum. Learned to read WindowsUpdateLog.

  I am using windows 7 Home premium. I use malwarebytes antivirus with the basics of microsoft security.

  When I started the full scan with malwarebytes, it freezes when scan reach for microsoft windows windows/winsxs command orders something folder and unresponsive.
  at the beginning I had the Blue error screen like the kernel data page fault. after it has been switched off manually windows that I started start a new search. scan froze on the same folder and I have been unable to stop the system. What happens when I start to scan with malwarebytes. scanning gets stuck at the same point.

  It seems that you have a bad hard drive or RAM module in your new system (ran 6 hollow landfill WinDBG), since it is a new system, I would bring her to the store you bought and let replace it.

  Personally, I'd suggest to return the computer to the store and allow them to correct the problem, apparently not driver related to me (especially if you updated all..), it seems that you have a malfunction of the equipment.

  You can try and run CHKDISK (http://windows8themes.org/how-to-run-chkdsk-in-windows-8.html), but I suggest you RMA your system and let check the RAM and hard drive.

  If however, you want to ensure that it is not Windows, then reinstall Windows and see if the problems come back, but I bet they will be.

  Just starting to get these errors.  I have a background of both limited computer posted patches go well above my head.  I tried to do a little, but I have to do something wrong.  Could someone help guide me through these errors solved?  I can boot the computer and restart it.
