Windows 8 operating system, BTTray.exe was able to start, BtBalloon.dll is not found

I have a Windows 8 operating system. Whenever I start my PC, I get this error message. BTTray.exe was able to start because BtBalloon.dll is not found, reinstalling the application may fix this problem. I do not even begin to know what is BtBalloon.dll, where can I find it and how do I reinstall. I tried to recover deleted files and reinstal them but there was no improvement. I also tried to do a restore to an earlier date, but she refused.

Help, please.

Reinstall your Broadcom Bluetooth drivers.

    You may need to contact HP in your region or Microsoft by phone.

    If he please go through these papers & try the above first steps:

    Activation of Windows Vista operating system

    You may be prompted to activate Windows Vista on a computer on which Windows Vista has already been activated by a license in Volume or OEM installation

    Hello boochbrain,

    I think you are right that these files are part of a runtime engine; specifically, the C++ runtime library.  Relocation of these libraries could certainly mitigate these errors you see.

  • Blue screen - ntoskrnl.exe was able to start: kernel missing/corrupted dxgkrnl.sys

    original title: BSOD and freezes, several errors reported, puzzled.

    Hello

    I've been struggling with trying to understand an intermittent problem for the last 3 weeks.  The problem has been around for one more month, but it seems to happen more and more often can't find the source.  I wish I could attach the dump files memory here, but don't see any option for this.  So here it goes...

    Have had this computer for 2-3 years and have not changed the material at all and only the drivers updated.

    CPU: Intel Core i7 CPU * address email is removed from the privacy *.

    Motherboard: ACPI x 64

    PowerSource: Power TX 750W.

    2 Hardrives: WDC - WD6401AALS-00L3B2 ATA

    6 GB OF RAM

    Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260

    I have wiped the two HD, reinstalled Vista.  I've updated the Vista completely.  I've updated the following drivers to their latest: graphics card, motherboard, map its (motherboard), LAN (motherboard).

    The computer crashes more often that the BSOD appears.  When it freezes, the sound plays all that was the last one on again and again and nothing does.  No data memory is dumped to the crash.  I checked with another computer that is on the network to see if she could still access shared files and that he could not.  It has frozen or gave the BSOD when just doing electronic-mail/surf net or playing dungeons and Online (DDO dragons).

    Challenges in a relationship with install/updates: SP2 would not install through normal updating, so a download and install manually.  DDO requires NET framework 1.1 to run.  Had to integrate the installation so that it can install.  Do not remember having to do in the past.  The point of freezing/BSOD is always the same before and after I did the complete wipe.

    Made the following stress tests:

    Don't use memtest 86 + (2.11 and version 4.10) x no errors, 8 longer past track.

    Used Furmark 1.8.2 V max stress test, ran all night without crashing.

    Used Video Card Stability Test (Group in stone), no problem.

    Used Seagate Diagnostics on HD, long and short no trials, no failure.

    Reported on BSOD errors:

    Ntoskrnl.exe could not start: missing/corrupted core

    dxgkrnl.sys

    driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL nvlddmkm.sys

    More information on these if necessary.

    I get about 5 freezes with no info to each BSOD with info.  Very hard to debug with any info.

    I've had freezes/BSOD occur minutes after the computer starts and the hours.  Have the box to open with an external fan blowing into the case.  Don't think overheating is the problem.  No overclocking ever carried out on the system.

    I'm relearning all debugging stuff, did not have to do this in a long time any help would be very appreciated.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello

    If you do not remove ANY power and reconnect the cables (at both ends, memory and cards)
    When possible) - in fact, remove and replace - do not just tight.

    As you re-installed Vista twice the question must be something that works with a low level
    as the BIOS, chipset of low level drivers or hardware.

    You can validate files minidumps on the SkyDrive or other file sharing sites so that they can be
    downloaded, and we will have a look. But to be honest they will reveal probably material
    or worth nothing useful, so.

    Use SkyDrive download collected files and after shot/screenshot.

  • Apparent compromise Windows XP operating system files

    During a scan, antiviral regular which was initiated by the provider of the antiviral software, the scan did not work properly (i.e., it is still indicating that the scan is in progress, but nothing happens - no status progress which is now 50 + hours).  Contact the vendor of the antiviral software, they gave me the steps to perform a disk cleanup and then a reboot of the mode without failure followed by steps to remove TEMP files.  At halfway through the disk cleanup process, a pop-up window has stated that: "Windows - files required for Windows File Protection is running properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions.»  To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files.  Insert your Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 CD now. "The Windows disks have not inserted according to the instructions, but instead, I contacted the antiviral software vendor to make sure that there is no unintended consequence.  The software provider antiviral indicated that Microsoft should be contacted as there can be some files that have been compromised that stopped the disk cleanup.  Windows XP (version 2005) operating system was pre-installed by the company of Toshiba laptop.  Question: I should restart the disk cleanup process as described by the antiviral software provider, and if there is another popup window indicating the information as mentioned above, service pack of Windows XP CD should be inserted?  Note: I was told Toshiba CD provided by them for the laptop contains the Windows XP operating system software.  The two provided Toshiba CD entitled, "Recovery and Applications/drivers DVD Satellite A100/A105 Series."  Question: Are there possible negative conseguences because the provided CD/DVDs have possible applications and drivers on them?  Thank you.

    I can't finish a DVD upward on my Windows Vista operating system.  This is due to an 0x8007001B error code.  I was unable to complete the fix to services.msu

    Hi mine,

    This isn't a question of MSE - there is a problem with Vista or your computer or your software backup or your DVD player or its drivers or something else. We are not the right people to answer your question and give you the best possible options and solutions - you have to talk to the experts.

    Please repost at: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-system?page=1&tab=all&tm=1304884961900 where specialists who understand and focus to help with these issues will be more than happy to help you.

    Although not my area of expertise (and you're welcome to ignore it and just after to the other forum), I did do research in any case and believe that the problem involves the corruption on your hard drive (although I could certainly be wrong - it is more likely to be the case if the full error message includes "drive cannot find sector requested" but you don't get the full error message, so I don't know). To try to fix it, if that is the problem, follow these steps:

    Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

    While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run. They tried to set itself to run at the next reboot. Answer Yes and restart to run the program. It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause.

    If this does not work, test better clean your hard drive. To test your hard drive, check the manufacturer and try to diagnosis HD (http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html) or this test: hard drive diagnostics tools and utilities (storage) - Corp of TACKtech (http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287). If it passes the tests, there's probably nothing wrong with it and you must do to the other support forum. If it fails, which include in your post on the other forum and let them advise you how to proceed.

    I hope that the above solves the problem. If this isn't the case, I am confident, they can help you in the other forum, because that's what they specialize in. It would help if you posted the message Word for Word that is accurate and complete, including all codes. In addition, it would help them if you explain the difficulty you mention services involving (a link to the site where you found the solution or at least what exactly you did and what has happened or not happened when you tried). And if you've tried my suggestions above, include the results in your message (so they don't ask you to do it again and will be able to exclude).

    Good luck and best wishes!

    Understand the Extras in Windows Vista and Windows Update info is at the link above.

    Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

    1. a System Restore to before the updates:

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > System Restore > restore time/choose your own date > next

    If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

    If it is impossible to enter the Normal Mode, do a Safe Mode system restore:

    Press F8 at the startup/power and the list of startup options, use THE ARROW key to select Safe mode > and then press ENTER.

    System restore steps according to the info above.

    Also:

    2. click on start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

    > then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it
    > Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".
    When you take a look at pending updates, you can either download/install them one at the time, namely the update causing you problems.
    > or if you do not need an individual > right-click on > UAC prompt > hide it
  • How findout if all the partitions have been deleted and now a laptop that has Windows 8 operating system using Windows Vista with a shell IE 9?
    I bought a laptop broken at a friend's House. It is not used for the operating system windows 8 and wanted to use the Windows Vista operating system. Son of friends put in place this laptop for it, which was new when she bought in a retail store. Is there a way I can find out whether all the partitions have been deleted during the installation of Vista? I still see window 8 logo that I sign as an administrator user on this laptop.
    When I log on this computer, the previous owner of the screen name is the only one that appears. I go in Control Panel, click Add another account, then I see the screen name I posted. I could use the WiFi from my PC at home that Win 7 OS.
    When I started working with the laptop, I was able to bring control of the camera. Now I thought that the version that I use does not allow this operation. Be happy with any Positive help with my problems.
    Thank you
    Hello
    Start > type CMD
    Right click on CMD and select run as administrator
    Type diskmgmt.msc
    Press enter
    This opens where you can view the partitions on the disk management system
    Who has installed Windows Vista, your son or friend?  Fact that they create a dual boot environment or reformat?
    http://www.technorms.com/8438/Windows-8-create-hard-drive-partition
    Multibooting requires separate partitions on the hard drive of your computer for each operating system.  To create and format a partition, see create and format a hard disk partition.
    To check if a dual boot system in place, start > Type msconfig
    Click on the Startup tab
    You see two operating systems listed?  Windows 8, Windows Vista
    http://www.groovypost.com/HOWTO/Microsoft/Vista/how-to-change-default-OS-for-dual-boot-system/
    I think that Windows 8 has the following partitions
    400 MB Partition Recovery (contains recovery information dated from before my upgrade)
    • 300 MB EFI System Partition
    • 350 MB Partition Recovery (contains information for recovery of my upgrade)
    • 17 GB Partition Recovery
    • 220 GB of Partition primary
    Windows Vista has drive C and drive D
    Done reformatting refers to a hard disk or partition that already has been formatted or that contains data on it. Reformatting a disk deletes all the data on the disk.
  • Re: Serial number down would work with the other Windows Vista operating system
    First of all sorry for my English.
    I have one question.
    My hard drive is broken with my recovery partition.
    If I download windows vista and install the system with my original serial number on the laptop, this will work or should I activate it after installation.
    I hope it's the same number that the front is installed on my first installation.
    Hello Marcin
    I doubt that the serial number that is placed at the bottom of the device works with another Windows Vista operating system. But it s worth a try
    You could test it I heard it's very rare cases it was possible
    In any case, if your HARD disk is damaged and it of not possible to create a recovery DVD using recovery software Toshiba disc creator, then you must contact the ASP in your country for assistance.
    If the warranty is valid the HARD drive should be replaced just for free. If you need only the recovery DVDs, then you can order it here:
  • Is there a practice of the Windows Server operating system environment?
    I'm looking to get some practice with the Windows Server operating system (2008 or other).  I came across the downloadable 180 trial period, but I don't mean to create a true server temporarily.  I'm looking to be able to have a completely 'virtual world' where I can actually add devices and simulate connect with different computers, etc.  I want to create an environment of virtual server completely, not the 180-day trial period where I create an environment that can have real computers to connect to it.  Such a thing exists?
    For example, I used a program called Packet Tracer that allows me to simulate the addition of routers, switches and high-end devices to create a whole network of Physics in a virtual environment.  I can configure devices with IP address and all that I can learn how to build a physical network.  I would like to do with the operating system Windows Server if possible.
