Hello Alejandro,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

What is the brand and model of the computer?

Thank you for details on the question and your efforts to resolve.

This problem may occur because of the presence of viruses or malware.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:
Run the system maintenance utility and check. Please follow these steps:

a. press Windows + W keys, type Troubleshooting in the search box and press ENTER.
b. click on 'show all' and then click on "System Maintenance".
c. click 'Next' and follow the on-screen instructions.

If this does not help, use method 2.

Method 2:
Microsoft safety scanner run and check the issue.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

I hope this information helps.

Please let us know if you need more help.

Thank you

Thanks for your reply, but it has been affected by an update from Microsoft (KB3033889) as incompatible with written Chinese, the resolution of this problem with the fix KB3048778

Windows 7 Pro 32 bit reports after installation of the driver that no driver is present. There was patch drivers provided by ATI to solve these problems, but these drivers did not resolve the problems. Has anyone had success with this installation, and if so, would you please provide me with how you did this? Thank you. BTW, I did the ususal uninstall and then install, reinstalled the operating system via a facility clean and then installed the drivers, etc, etc. So far, nothing has worked. After Googling this issue I found that many others have had similar experiences with these driver problems. Now I have XP Pro and Win 7 Pro installed via dual boot and XP Pro is running pilots ok with no problems. Thank you!

I came across the work of question three years ago on one of my machines.

It is a problem of compatibility between the nForce 3 and AGP.  I don't remember the exact details, but with a nForce 3 and similar day SIS chipsets and a few others when they had a dual-core CPU in them, they would change the AGP port to use a PCI driver or something of this nature to enable the multi-core support (such as it's been hacked on toward the end of their development).  On Windows Vista and upward, such a workaround solution does not work.  SiS and some other published updates driver for the motherboard chipsets which he sorted, nVidia did not worth it, despite nForce 3 sold as Vista compatible.  nVidia pulled this stunt with a lot of things at the time, including their GeForce 5 cards, saying they supported Vista, same with the beta drivers and then they just canned originally.  They took both.

It is a solution that will be the kind of work, but as you may have guessed, you will need to disable one of the cores of your CPU.

You can do this by going to msconfig, click on the Startup tab, click Advanced... and changing the number of processors at 1.

Reboot and your graphics drivers will spring magically to life.

    Hello

Thanks for coming with a concern for Windows in the Microsoft Community!

The computer windows 7 home can not access the main window 7 computer pro.

    1. What is the type of network that the computers are connected to?

    2. How are you trying to access the computer, is using \\ip_or_name\?

To make sure that the settings are appropriate. See the following links for the same:

  • Windows 8 Pro OEM installation problem

    Hello

My PC configuration is what Intel i3, 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB drive. I recently purchased Windows 8 Pro (64-bit) OEM a re-seller on Amazon. The product key is with the disc. When I try to install using the disc, I face below - question

Boot from the DVD drive where the OEM disc
PC boots with blue Windows 8 logo
PC remains at this screen for 2-3 minutes, then stops. No error message indicated.
Restart the PC in 10 seconds and the foregoing continues

Could someone please explain how to install this drive OEM Windows 8 Pro. Do I really need Windows 8 Kit OPK (OPK)

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards
    Pranav

The OEM preinstallation Kit is not necessary since you use it for personal use.

OEM licenses must be installed by professional system manufacturers. Under Microsoft's OEM license agreement, they should not be sold to end-users under any circumstances, must be preinstalled on a computer using the preinstallation OEM (OPK) before delivery to the customer and include to the at least the manufacturer contact information.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/OEM/en/licensing/sblicensing/pages/licensing_for_hobbyists.aspx

    --------------------------------

As to why the installation failed:

If you have compatible hardware and your computer still stops responding, disable any unnecessary material. Remove (USB) universal serial bus devices. Remove or disable network cards, sound cards and cards of the series; and then restart the installation.

You can also try to reduce the amount of RAM you have installed, and you try to install the new.

  • WINDOWS XP PRO OEM OS PROBLEM (S)

    Community (?) merge,.

VM Guest PC error message: cannot configure target VM.

Hello everyone,-New virtualization VM, so far, fortunately have not drowned, treading water with impatience! Currently, I use a MBP with Mt Lion. I tried to install Fusion 5/Mac several times (4 to be exact) all to no avail. I think that my problem might be the Windows XP Pro OEM OS, according to the instructions in the VMWare beginner. Are there effective workaround for this problem? If not, what should I do to fix the facilities failed? How would I go about installing the new version license retail Windows XP Pro on the PC of the client without having to (re) install all my windows programs and files? Any assistance at all, would be most appreciated. Water-treading start to fail, HELP!  Thank you all.

For many years I have dealt with Window XP on a daily basis however I don't remember there being an option to upgrade an OEM installation on-site with a retail facility, so I can't answer explicitly.  Might be better to answer this question by Microsoft or the Microsoft forums.

If I had to test it and I didn't have a ghost of the physical HARD Disk Image to recover from then I'd probably use vmware-rawdiscCreator to temporarily access the physical HARD disk as a raw disk hard can use vmware-diskmanager for a hard normal file based on it.  This does not change the original physical HDD.  Then I would make a virtual computer by using the new normal file based hard and then run the CD at retail, or the ISO Image of it and try to do a repair installation.  If everything works you have then a retail install with your applications and data intact user.  Once again but without really trying, I can only say that's what I would try if in this position.

  • Windows 8 Pro OEM update problem

    Hi all

I recently bought an Acer P3 pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 8 single language tablet. Since I need to use some of the functionality available only with the Pro version, I bought a Windows 8 Pro OEM license. Since there is no way to reinstall Windows 8 at the beginning, I use the 'add new features' upgrade. Apparently the license does not work since it is a complete Pro 8 license and features requires the Windows 8 Pack Pro license instead. So, I make a call to Microsoft Tech Line and full of hope that they can change the license Pro Pack. After 2 hours of curiosity and the final tip, pleading for a change (it is not possible to Exchange or refund from the store I bought because the seal is already open), they will not always be allowed to change and leave me with RM 414 (~ 129 USD) in the sewers.

Is it possible for me to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro with this product key, and I really hope there is some flexibility on the part of Microsoft to help me in this situation since I already bought a Microsoft product with a higher value than the Pro Pack Upgrade. I would be happy for you to show my Bill and photo of the if product key requires Microsoft.

Thank you and looking forward to any kind of answers.

Unfortunately, add functionality does not support OEM System Builder licenses. You should have bought the Pro Pack or Pro Windows 8 details of upgrade.

Your only other option because you can not return it is again a custom installation of the currently installed Windows 8 SL. Backup the current Windows 8 install before do you.

First, create a backup of your installation of Windows 8 on an external hard drive:

    Then, create a repair disk:

  • Windows 7 Netbook screen resolution/problems to install Uniblue Powersuite

I was given a netbook Dell running Windows 7 Starter. My old computer is a full laptop, so I had no problem to launch the software Uniblue Powersuite.

Their website States the following as the minimum system requirements:

    • Processor Intel® Pentium® 3 500 MHz or equivalent
    • At least 256 MB of RAM
    • 750 MB of free space on hard drive
    • Graphics mode 800 x 600, 16 bit color
    • Internet Explorer® 8
    • Microsoft® Windows® XP, Windows Vista®, Windows 7 and Windows 8
    • Active Internet connection

The site lists the following as recommended

    • Intel Pentium 4 clocked at 1 GHz or equivalent
    • At least 1 GB of RAM
    • 1 GB of free space on hard drive
    • True-color graphics mode 1024 x 768 (highest 32 - bit)
    • Internet explore 8
    • Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8
    • Active Internet connection

When I try to install the software, I get the following error:

    "Incompatible screen resolution. Required a minimum of 1024 x 768. »

... Well, this isn't what your Web site says, but it's cool. So, I'm going to change my resolution. Here are my choices:

    1024 x 600 (recommended) - currently selected

    800 x 600

I get this error select any resolution.

What can I do? What I need to contact Uniblue on divergence and support? Or is it a problem with my netbook?

You must contact Uniblue support for this question because it is on the software side.

  • Windows 8 blue screen crash problem

Whenever I start my windows bitTorrent 8 crashes and displays a blue error screen showing DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (NETIO. (SYS) and gets automatically rebooted.

I had uninstalled McAfee and I also used the removal tool but still problem persists

    help needed!

    Thank you!

All attached files of the DMP are the bug check DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) .

This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory with a high IRQL.

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high. This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

By default, the fault of accidents is NETIO.sys which is network IO subsystem. This is not the real cause of the accident and usually when we associate network crashes like that, it is caused by one of two things:

1 network drivers themselves must be updated.

    2. 3rd party antivirus or firewall software cause of NETBIOS conflicts.

  • Lock Windows 7 Pro screen

I'm doing my lock so that only my work computer or an administrator can unlock. But it has a user button and anyone can hit and use their log in and password to my computer. The problem is that they are under their name and that you download things on the computer that are slowing down my computer. We are open 7 days a week, but I'm here 5 and some of our College kids know log on our company. On previous versions of windows, you can lock that he and no one but yourself or the 'administrator' can connect but windows 7 Professional has a switch user icon when you lock which allows them to connect under another.

Thanks any help would be great.

I suspect your implied question is "Ho to prevent the change of user while in the locked state." If yes then you can do this by creating the registry value

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\HideFastUserSwitching
(DWord value) and parameters of its data to 1.

Also notice that the children with the right knowledge and the right tools can break into any machine if they have physical access to it.

  • Screen resolution problems (Windows 10)

I downloaded the latest trial 9 Captivate for Windows 10 and screen resolution problems. Basically, making the software unusable. A lot of screens and dialog boxes seems larger than the current window, they are in, making the right and downstairs parts invisible window (usually, this is where the 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons for example).

I'm Captivate on a laptop running 64-bit Windows 10 (Sony Vaio with an NVidia GT 640 M map graphic with the latest drivers)

Does anyone know how to fix this? Here are some examples:

    captivate1.PNG

    captivate2.PNG

    captivate4.PNG

    No retina.

What is the size of the police on? Win10, it is often larger than 100%, which is not really necessary for your resolution, but that's a retina display. I am using Captivate on Win10, but Surface Pro and laptop have a retina display.

If you want to put them on a USB stick, copy the files downloaded to the key and take it to the computer target. Copy the files on the computer desktop. Double-click on a file and it will unpack the installation routine starts. Follow the installation wizard. Reset when said to repeat as needed until all the drivers, etc are installed. Subsequently, you can delete the downloaded files from Dell (from installation .exe). MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Help! -Acer Aspire all-in-one touch screen after upgrade Windows 8 Pro

    Hi all!

This is a rather confusing questions and about * me off no end!  I know that some of you may have encountered this already and could have a potential solution?

I have an Acer Aspire all-in-one, AZ5101 (Aspire Z5101), with 4 GB of RAM, etc..

Since the Developer Preview of Windows 8 came out, I've been running Windows 8 perfectly.  I completely uninstalled (each time itself) and run the following:

    Windows 8 Developer Preview, 64-bit

Windows 8 Preview of consumer, 64-bit

    Windows 8 Preview, 64-bit version

In any case, on this PC worked perfectly - y INCLUSIVE of the TOUCH SCREEN.  I never had a problem.

So far so good.  Then, they finally released updates Windows 8 Pro official licensed by download.  I bought the upgrade and downloaded.  Just like in * ALL * other cases, upgrade, I chose "keep nothing" of the old system (I never really got all the important data on here), and do the upgrade itself.

After the upgrade was complete, and ALL Windows 8 Pro updates have been applied by Windows update, I have a system where the screen is clear and precise, everything works, and all devices in Device Manager, show the Greens well, it works fine - NO ERRORS.  HOWEVER - NO CONTACT!  No touch no screen function at all.  The screen now has this time as a standard monitor.

I tried the driver Idéacom - no luck.  Anyone know (please? LOL) how to get the touch screen to work again?  Thank you very much!  I really appreciate any help you can give.  Microsoft technical support had NO idea and no reply emails from Acer! Laughing out loud

    Thanks again,

    Mike

  • Windows XP Pro SP3, screen saver does not login / welcome screen.

    Windows XP Pro, SP3

Recently made a clean installation fees.

Now, every time the logon / Welcome screen, screen saver will not invoke after the specified time-out period.

If the computer is on any other screen, a screen saver will call after the specified time-out period.

I can't understand why the screen saver will invoke is no longer when the connection / welcome screen appears.

If anyone has any input on this, I would appreciate it.

    Thank you.
