  • Italian language pack for Windows Vista SP2 & W7 RC.

Hello everyone. May I ask when these service packs will be available in my language (Italian)? Thanks much for this information. A.Giulio Cimatti, Bologna, Italy.

    Hello, Greysmouth

For Windows Vista Service Pack 2, more languages are planned later this year. As for Windows 7, you should be able to download through Windows Update language pack.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Windows 7 Professional and Family Pack

Two days ago I installed Windows 7 Pro on my machine and I would like to know how to extend this license to a family (3 users) pack.

Moreover, I also used a few months ago the Release Candidate version, and I was already very satisfied; the official version works quite well. I hope someone finds a way to make my Avid also quite expensive Liquid Pro - license to work with Windows 7 64 bit...

    Hello

Sorry for the bad news, but the Family Pack includes only the Home Premium version.

You may want to consider purchasing the OEM versions at an online retailer if you are looking for a good deal. These are the exact same versions as the retail, they just have the restriction being attached to the first machine where they are installed and no official support. The OEM version is also the full version. It can be installed on a blank hard drive.

You can usually get these for about half what would cost the full retail version.

Before purchasing Windows 7, follow these steps:

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

I've lost my windows xp cd and it must be reinstalled I can do

Are you sure you've lost this CD? Maybe you had one. It is certainly the case with many PC manufacturers, which rather than provide a restore hidden on the hard disk partition.

What is the brand and model of your PC?

FWIW, it is in fact rarely necessary to reinstall Windows. What are your specific issues? Components that are missing? And why?

  • Windows XP Professional SP3 installation diskettes

I restore my old computer, and I need floppy disks to install Windows XP Professional SP3 to do this, because my old computer will start only from a floppy or hard drive. Can I use diskettes of Windows XP Professional SP2, or do I floppy disks for Windows XP Professional SP3. If I need Windows XP Professional SP3 diskettes, where can I get their (answer with a link if I need them). Thank you!

You realize that the diskettes 'setup' will not install any version of Windows XP, but only allow you to start the installation process which must end with an authentic Windows XP installation CD?

The disks are only for the limited, rare, cases in which you have a CD player and a Windows installation CD, but for some reason that your computer does not start on the CD.  Y at - it an update of the BIOS available that will allow your computer to boot from a CD?

As far as I KNOW, he is there no version of Service Pack 3 of these disks.  If you have an installation CD for Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3, try the SP2 game.

  • I am unable to find "My downloads" on my computer, Windows XP Professional. Is there a way to download?

I am running Windows XP Professional w/Service Pack 3 and supposed "My downloads" should be available, however, could not find it.  I was wondering whether there should or should not be.  If not, is there a way I can download it from the Microsoft Windows?

    Hello

    1. what browser do you use to download files?

They are downloaded in "c:\windows\temporary internet files" and then, once the download is complete, they are copied to the folder you have selected.

You can download and install the Download Manager to account for your downloads.

A product key Windows 7 Pro 'Détail' will work / activate on both Windows 7 Pro with or without SP1.

However now that Windows 7 with SP1 is only available in OEM product, all Windows 7 retail products do not include SP1 but the key to "Retail" will still work if you download an .iso file that includes SP1.

Download Windows 7 proper. ISO file (must match for your product key version)
