  If you receive the error 80072efe or 80080008 when you use Windows Store, the cause may be an interruption of the connection between your computer and the Windows Update service.

  Here are a few methods you can try to solve this problem.

  Open and run the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix the problem automatically.

  Method 2: Run the troubleshooter for Internet connections.

  Unable to Win 8.1 as I am unable to open the windows store. It seems open but all I get is the green screen with the shopping bag.   Try to right click in the lower left corner and select run, type wsreset.exe, type. Failure to resolve the problem, try running the following commands from a Command Prompt (Admin).

  (1) sfc/scannow, reboot and run

  (2) dism / online/cleanup-image /scanhealth to run

  (3) dism / /cleanup - /restorehealth online image restart and run sfc/scannow and restart if necessary.

I can't access the Windows store, I'm stuck with Windows 8 and cannot move to 8.1. I tried several times to pass to 8.1 when I could go to the store, but it failed every time with an error code OxC1900101-Ox20017. Any suggestions as to what this error is and how to fix it. So, I seem to be stuck with Windows 8 until Windows 9 comes out. I am not convinced that this will present all kinds of new questions. I can't understand why Microsoft cannot fix this easily because he seems to have been going on for at least a year. I hate the idea of how much time I wasted on this. My only saving grace is that I can return to my laptop with Windows 7... happiness!

  First of all, try to use the network adapter troubleshooting utility to automatically find and fix some problems. This troubleshooting will be disable and re-enable the adapter and try a few other common repairs:

  • Open the troubleshooter from network card by sliding into the right edge of the screen, quilting search (or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then clicking search), entering the troubleshooting in the search box, and then type or by clicking on the resolution of the problems. Press or click Network and Internet, press or click on the network card and follow the instructions on the screen.

  Reset the Windows Store Cache.
