Windows 8 X220T video driver

Is there a reason why the Win 8 beta graphics driver intel is available for almost all models except X 220 series?

I realize that there are drivers available through Windows update, but I'm not sure that they have the full range of features such as the Lenovo one. Some programs such as the State of Karl as the newest driver available via Windows update do not meet requirements (possibly Open GL associated).

Thank you

Sorry to bump my post, but I solved my problem with alternative measures.

Intel has dropped the ball on this one by pushing insufficient drivers to Windows update, you must disable self-install at will and manually select drivers that work better. People are hacking drivers Lenovo beta for all kinds of manufacturer who use chart of Sandy Bridge, but I found that they have problems as well.

Fortunately Microsoft has been kind enough to include working for us, as long as you dig through and find them in the list.

  • T400: install windows 7 own, video driver problem

    Hi all

I recently updated my computer to windows 7 with a clean install.  I installed all the latest drivers on the site Lonovo for Windows 7 and that of graphic swichable.  Unfortunately, I was making strange results on the integrated card (energy saving).  Once from time to time, the pixels on the screen won't align properly.  The link below shows a screenshot of the problem.  http://imgur.com/1kdp5 .  Sometimes, the problem occurs when I switch to windows.  Once the application will suddenly become out of sync.  The problem can be resolved by moving the mouse over the area (if it is a menu) or by resizing the window.  I'm also not sure if the problem occurs with the Ati video card since I mostly spend my time on the built-in one.

Does anyone know if there is a solution to this problem, or do I have to wait for a new driver update?

    Thank you

You have 3 GB of memory? I have the same problem as you, but it doesn't seem to be a solution, except the upgrade to 4 GB or out 1.

  • Video driver window 7 Intel is compatible with XP?

Just got a Toshiba update notice, offering a new video driver Intel for Windows 7. I want to dual-boot 7 and XP for a while. This driver will support both?

    Thank you!

If the driver is designed for Win7, you probably won't be able to install it on Windows XP Home edition.
When you start under WXP I assume that you will get the message that this driver is not designed for pre-installed OS.

Hello, I am unable to upgrade the NVIDIA GTX 960 M video driver on my 70 - Y50 runs Windows 10. The version of the NVIDIA driver I have currently installed is 353.62.

When I try to install the latest driver from NVIDIA GeForce experience, it tries to install but I receive a message that the driver installation has failed and then Manager device displays the video card NVIDIA as a video controller with 3D exclamation next to it in the other devices section. The same problem happens if I use the driver software upgrade option in Device Manager.

You can turn off the graphics card in Device Manager, and if you switch GPU you can do power off.

    Danish Muhammad

    Hi Muhammad Danish,

Windows 8 compatible drivers for OptiPlex 780 are not available on the Dell support Web site.

Have you tried to check for drivers on the video card manufacturer's website? Based on the file name of drivers you mentioned, I think that your computer is the AMD Radeon HD 3470 graphics card.

Try to install more software Catalyst from the following link: http://dell.to/16zWqy5

Do not answer with the results.

  • Video driver Windows 10 for Precision M65

Someone at - he found a way in Windows 10 to access the native screen resolution for the M65:

    Screen WSXGA (1680 × 1050)

I ignored the warning of incompatibility and installed upgrading Windows 10 Windows 8.1 on my Dell Precision M65 laptop. Windows 10 runs great on it, except that the generic video driver from Microsoft does not offer a choice of the M65 screen native resolution. Dell and say they do not plan to develop compatible drivers for the Quadro FX 350 M from NVidia card on the M65.

I read the articles, that is to say http://www.Boche.net/blog/index.php/2010/03/28/Windows-2008-R2-and-Windows-7-on-vSphere/ , on VMware Tools now including a video driver to work for 2 k 8 R2.  I'm under ESXi 4 U1 with all the patches, but when I install a new virtual machine that is running R2 and install VMware Tools, I don't see the folder C:\Program VMware Tools\Drivers\wddm_video that I can upgrade the driver to.  In fact, I see not all records related to drivers.  What Miss me?  Is there any place I can download the drivers from outside VMware tools?

    Hello.

I don't see the folder C:\Program VMware Tools\Drivers\wddm_video can I upgrade the driver to.

This is the wrong path.  It is located in "C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\VMware\Drivers\wddm_video"

  • Video S10 Windows XP 64 bit driver

I tried to install the video driver nVidia 64 bit for the Quadro 370 but the system does not start. I tested the video card in another pc and it works fine (in 32-bit). I managed to install a Quadro 1700 under 64 bit in my S10 but no luck with my 370. Any suggestions?

Well... Flashing/Updating the BIOS solved the problem!

If you ask me it's a little frustrating since the S10 is new; I expect to do this on an old box.

  • Twitch.TV HTML5 player causing the video driver crash

Current video card is Radeon HD7800. This problem only appears when using Firefox to watch videos on the site of twitch.tv using the new HTML5 player. At the beginning all right, but there is gradual corruption of the firefox window. Text disappears, corrupt graphics and finally the leak of graphics corruption on windows or Aero, office causing a crash video driver and the restoration. This only happens with the jerk HTML5 player. All other sites work fine. The player also works very well in other browsers. IE9 and chrome have been tested. Firefox is the most recent version, and so are the video drivers.

I've had previous issues with suffers from a strange, unexplained, graphical corruption that have been patched out in new versions of firefox. It is the first instance when Firefox caused a crash of the complete video driver.

I get a Flash player on the half dozen I checked. How do you switch HTML5?
