Windows Activation error 8 0xC004C003

Please help me!

I recently updated my window preloaded 8 to 8.1.
However, after the update it does not accept my old window key 8
and asks me to activate with a product key. Here is the error code: 0xC004C003

My DELL XPS came with a preloaded copy of window 8 and yes there a 8 to the rear window sticker

and fully enabled until I updated to windows 8.1.  And as far as I know,
system that comes with preloaded window 8 has its product key
injected into the motherboard and 8.1 is a free update for users of window 8.

So why the update does not accept my window key 8
and ask me a new key? I know that my 8 window key cannot be used for any other system
because the key is injected into the mother board and I don't even know the key myself.

So what can I do now to my window be reactivated?

No more frustration, it's that I can't go back to windows 8.

I tried to reset it to the original image using DELL backup & built in system recovery software.

However, after the image of the factory it does not accept embedded product key.

Here are the details of the Diag report:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

  • Windows Activation error: Error Code 0 x 080070005

I'm not sure what I did, but after I added a hard drive 3 TB to my turn, Windows has been telling me that it must be enabled, and every time I try to activate it online, I get the error message saying "a problem occurred when Windows tried to activate. Error code 0x80070005. "When I click on more options, he said: I need"higher authority"(I am the administrator and have administrator privileges) to activate it, but I don't know what this means, or even if there is something higher than the administrator. I'm sure that there is not, but I could be wrong.  I ran the MGAD tool, and that's what it came with:

The only thing I have changed in the last month is that I am a new processor and motherboard, and it worked well upward until a few nights ago.  Come to think of it, it didn't happen until the new year.  I added the hard drive Saturday night and did not get the error message until I logged on my computer the next day morning.  Could there be something wrong with the timestamp or something? That would cause a problem like this?

Change the motherboard invalidates an OEM system builder license.

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

OEM licenses must be installed by professional system manufacturers. Under Microsoft's OEM license agreement, they should not be sold to end-users under any circumstances, must be preinstalled on a computer using the preinstallation OEM (OPK) before delivery to the customer and include to the at least the manufacturer contact information. They are, therefore, designed for installation only on a single computer and are not transferable, even if the original computer is no longer in use. This isn't usually a problem for users who buy a new computer, because systems that most pre-assembled systems ship with a preinstalled operating system. There are very few circumstances where Microsoft will allow the transfer of licensed OEM for a non-functional system to another, but the OEM System Builder License Agreement (SBLA), as well as the EULA (EULA) OEM contract don't contain any provision for this, it is entirely at the discretion of Microsoft, depending on the situation

you have a pirated copy of windows.
You have a Dell OEM SLP key on a motherboard retail. An OEM SLP key must be installed at the factory at the time of manufacture. Yours was not.
You will need to purchase and install a legitimate windows or back on windows from your computer is delivered.
    more information:

    (A) OEM SLP: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. So when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP key (factory) Vista [Windows 7] focuses on the motherboard and see special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)

  • Windows Activation error 7: an error has occurred; Access is denied. ; 0x80070005

I recently had a weird problem with my Dell Inspiron 1525 under Windows 7 Home Premium.  (Which is here: http://bit.ly/rwzCt6).  In any case it was resolved to boot from the Windows 7 Edition installation disc Home Premium and do a system restore.  When I logged on I was so happy that I wasn't getting the famous black screen with cursor.  But now my background is black and bottom right, he says:

    Windows 7
    Build 7601
This copy of Windows is not genuine
Whenever I open the 'Activate Windows' program, he said only: "an error has occurred."  If I click on see details, it is said:
    Code:
    0x80070005

    Description:
    Access is denied.
I can't use Office, Security Essentials, and it is really annoying that every five minutes it tells me to activate online (which by the way, tells me this):
    Windows validation has been stopped.

The validation service is unavailable at this time.  Please try validation again later.).
Anyway, I'd appreciate any help I have buy Windows 7 and Office and I cannot use it properly.  Thanks in advance!
    EDIT:
I just got a message saying the following:
    Windows must be restored

An unauthorized change was made to Windows.  You must reinstall or restore Windows system files to activate.

    How to reinstlall Windows?
    What is system restore?

  • Activation error code: 0xC004C003

What is the error of activation Win7: 0xC004C003? I get this whenever I try to activate Win7 on my DELL laptop. He also tells me that I have an invalid product key. How can this be? I use the product key that came with my software Win7 DVD!

If your Windows 7 is an upgrade, do you have it installed on a computer with an earlier version of Windows? Upgrade software allows not a version upgrade of Windows 7 on a hard drive Virgin must be activated.

Are you sure that you correctly type all the letters? Look at B and 8 G and 6, etc..  Product keys are not 1, I, O, or 0.

Using the right key of Windows 7? A key for XP or Vista will not work with Windows 7. A Home Premium key does not work with Ultimate, etc..

Call Microsoft use the manual phone Activation

If you have trouble activating Windows 7 you can call Microsoft to activate it by following these steps:
    1. with the operation of Windows, click Start, then in the search box type: slui.exe 4
    2. press enter on your keyboard

  • Windows Activation error 7 0xC00800E3

My first post here, please do not kill me if I posted in the wrong topic...

I'm not computer illiterate, but I encountered a problem that left me speechless. I did a lot of reasearch looking around for a fix, and so far it seems I have a one-of-a-kind problem. Let me explain:

I've got ahold of a Toshiba Satellite L505-S59907 running Windows 7 64-bit. When I get it to the top, it's really up-to-date with some updates to do (including IE9 and SP1) and it has a few old virus on it. Not much, right? I get out the virus and get it updated. 1 update fails, and it is SP1. I had this problem before, so I clean out the cache update, and then try again. It fails. Try again, the only update fails on the left. SP1. Large. I do research, send the error report to Microsoft. They tell me to run my installation disk and repair the operating system. So I do.

It crosses without problem. I'm still all programs and files from my friends about it, and it's like a new installation. I have install all updates and SP1 goes in Nice and clean. Large. Then I noticed that the BONES nbss ' t enabled. So I'm going to turn on, type in the same tone, that it was executed before that I fixed it (the same key on the bottom) and it is said that validation failed. Error 0xC004E003 code. So, I'll be back on the interwebs Omniscient seeks help. They tell me to run ' slui.exe 4 "and it will bring up the box"Select your region"and I can call in for activation as I have in the good old XP. The problem I'm stuck now, it's that, slui.exe does absolutely nothing else. He opens the activation window just as the link in system properties. All I can do now (I think) is to buy a new key, type in a different key (which I did not), or contact Toshiba (which opens the Microsoft Help content). I don't want to go buy another key when I have on the machine.

I also tried using the recovery partition, but it seems that the previous owner messed up somehow and it loads does ' t. I tried also completely wipe the drive (taking a picture) and re-setup fees, and I still have the same error code.

So my question is, can I fix it, or am I screwed out of my hundreds of dollars to get another key from Windows 7?

It's about the size of it - that the sticker is your license to run Windows and there is equivalent software in the media the manufacturer Recvoery - you must have at least one (preferably two) that runs Windows OEM legally.
