  Thanks for the reply with the status of the issue.

  Let us try the following steps and check if it works for you.

  a. Click Start.
  b. click on run and type "rundll32 printui.dll, PrintUIEntry /il" without quote.

  If this KB article does not work, I suggest you try this:

  You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps. 1. Open administrative tools by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Administrative Tools. 2. Double-click Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 3. Right click on the print spooler service, and then click Properties. 4. Under the tab general , next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected. 5. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Startand then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  I tried several solutions and searched many forums. This has actually been a problem for some time now, and I do not know what facilities of printer driver broke.

  I did put a lot of thought into it and just posted stuff to the network and printed one of my other computers. It became a problem recently, when I was too lazy to get up and turn on one of the other computers. :-) I then decided that I just needed to fix it.

  I read all the posts I could find for each version of Windows treats this problem and tried each of them. I removed all the old drivers (at least I think I did. I couldn't find anybody would say, 'Here are the drivers installed.'). I downloaded the new drivers from HP. I edited the registry. I went to the folder/Windows/System32/Spool/something and deleted all. I searched all references to Lexmark (my old printer) and deleted.

  In any case, last night my boot sector failed, so I ended up reinstalling Windows. I just finished now, and the printer works fine, now.

  This may occur if the print spooler requires other services, and these services are not running. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
   
  1. in Services, right-click on print spooler and then click Properties.
  
  2. click the Dependencies tab. The first box list all system services that must work for the print spooler start. These are dependencies.
  
  3 make a note of each service, click OK, and restart each service on which the print spooler is dependent, if the service is not already started. If a service is not started, right-click, click Properties, and then make sure that the startup type is automatic.

  I can't reinstall my printer Epson WiFi is on my network. I recently installed a "update package" published on 11/04/2011 Epson. I have a HP Pavilion laptop g7 with windows 7 64-bit OS. I can't go back to "System Restore" to the date of my installation of update. I have an another HP laptop also on the network, and he has no problem printing. I reinstalled the Epson printer so I can print a page of the Epson, but windows does not recognize the drivers I am not able to print anything else. I can not add the same "a Note" as my printer because of the error message "Access denied" mentioned above. I have tried to install using the disc to Epson, and then after uninstalling all things Epson I installed on the Epson site. Note: I'm on the same network "workgroup" as the other laptop, however, when I go to my computer > network it shows 2 laptops, devices, multifunction, Network Infrastructure devices, printers and Scanners. The only difference between the 2 laptops in this area is that mine shows 'Gateway Internet' in the 'Network Infrastructure' and the other laptop shows router WiFi. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  If you restart, do you feel the problem yet?  0x000000a4 error seems to be related to the "ERROR_MAX_THRDS_REACHED' -"no more threads can be created in the system".

  If all goes well, this means that you are experiencing a temporary condition of scarce resources that could be fixed by rebooting.  If the behaviour continues, it would be interesting to dig deeper.

  I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.
