Right click on the MP3 file.
Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
Click: Choose [default] program.
Letter: Windows Media Player.
Check: Always use the selected program to open this type of file.
Click OK.

  • Cannot install updates of Adobe / cannot open files in Photoshop from LR

    Hello

I can't update programs who need to see the update. My computer says I need to update Adobe Bridge CS5, Photoshop CS5, and Camera Raw extensions Manager, but get the following error every time: 'there was an error downloading this update. Quit and try again later. »

I think that's part of the reason why I can't edit a photo from Lightroom to Photoshop. When I try to edit in Photoshop, the program opens but the image is not displayed. When I try to open the image directly into Photoshop, I get the following error: "'could not complete your request because the file appears to be a model of camera that is not taken in charge by the installed version of Camera Raw." "

I assumed that the two issues are related, but how can I past this if I can't update Camera Raw?

I do turn on Yosemite and have Photoshop CS5 and LR 3.

    Thanks for any help!

The update for the don of the good old versions work, if at all, more. Update the manually:

Adobe - Photoshop: for Macintosh: Adobe Photoshop 12.0.4 updated for Adobe Photoshop CS5

Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh: Camera Raw 6.7.1 update

If you went to Yosemite with CS5 installed, you can uninstall and reinstall CS5 before proceeding to the foregoing. You can find CS5 download here: Download CS5 products

After a problem with my sony ebook reader, I was told by the library to remove the program Sony and library of books on the computer and the drive, and then reinstall the program.  I would then be able to download the books again.  But now I have a message saying that windows cannot open the file must know what program - select the program from the list. When I click on the program sony player list is not there.  What I am doing wrong?  You can give me some advice.

    Original title: Pauline1949

    Hello

    1. have you downloaded the right file to library?

    2. What is the file format of the file that you downloaded?

    3. What are the recommendations of programs that provided by Windows?

    4. have you installed the player from the computer program?

5 is this problem confined to a particular file that downloaded?

The file that you downloaded requires an appropriate program to open it in Windows. That's why I suggest to check again if you have installed the reader program and also check if you have downloaded the appropriate Center books.

While Firefox can usually set himself as the proper application to open the URL, you click in other programs, settings are sometimes blur or do not take. This article has tips to solve this problem: setting Firefox as the default browser does not work - what to do. Anything there help?

If the problem persists, is there something special about how you start Firefox? For example, you have this launch in a security 'sandbox' or virtual machine? You have all the command-line options set to allow several simultaneous sessions of Firefox, or call the Profile Manager? If none of this sounds familiar to you, the answer is probably not.

  • I get a message saying "Windows cannot open the file...". »

I had a lot of problems with infections, so I was running many scanning programs.

After getting my computer almost completely cleaned, I ran the Super Anti-Spyware program.  We find 3 infections, which I'd delete (I don't have no way of knowing that I removed).

Since then, whenever I try to open a program, or even Windows Update, etc., I get a message saying:

"Windows cannot open the file.  To open this file, Windows needs to know what kind of program has created.  Windows can go online to search automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs.

When I go on the web, I get a lot of options, which are almost free scans that then charge for fixing.  I am also very scared that I can also get another infection from these sites.

I hope someone can help me solve this problem.

    StanEp

Yes, each method is a set of measures to try and then go ahead and try each one separate.

2 method will reset the executable (.exe) extension that will allow you to open programs. It is not clear what exactly you are trying to open so that it can have no effect.

Keep in mind that the damage caused by malware can be irreversible, in the case of relocations are necessary.

    Hello

    Method 1
JSON is a java file. or JavaScript Object Notation, is an open standard based on text designed for the exchange of human readable data. It is derived from the JavaScript scripting language to represent associative arrays, and simple data structures called objects. Despite his relationship with JavaScript, it is independent of the language, with parsers available for many languages.

If you want to open. You must have Java installed on your computer the JSON file. If you have java installed on the computer I suggest you to try the steps from the following link:

I also suggest to run virus scan online by using the Microsoft safety scanner.

    Hi JRCLNSIN100,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

We would like to get some more information from you to help solve your problem. You better, please answer the following questions.

    ·         What is the disk you use to reinstall?

    ·         Is this a recovery or reinstalling the disc you are using?

    ·         When exactly do you get this error message?

    ·         What is the edition of Windows Vista, you try to install?

    ·         How old is the drive that you are using?

    ·         How are you starting the installation process?

After researching the error 0x8007000D code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

First check if you have scratches or dust on the disc and clean the surface and try again.

To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.

To perform a flat installation of Windows Vista, follow these steps.

Note The hard disk must have at least 3 GB of free space on the disk for the Windows Vista installation files. The hard disk must have at least 15 GB of additional disk space to install Windows Vista. For more information about system requirements for Windows Vista, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/products/windowsvista/editions/SystemRequirements.mspx

    1. Insert the Windows Vista installation disc.
    2. Start Windows Explorer.
    3. In Windows Explorer, click to select the drive for the Windows Vista installation disc.
    4. On the Edit menu, click select all.
    5. On the Edit menu, click copy.
    6. Click to select the hard disk you want to contain the flat installation files.
    7. On the file menu, point to new, click the folder, type Windows Vista Setupand then press ENTER.
    8. Double-click the Windows Vista Setup program, and then click Paste on the Edit menu.
    9. Double-click Setup.exe, and then follow the instructions that appear.

See the link below for more information on flat installation.

This problem can also occur if the firmware of the DVD drive is defective or obsolete.

If the step above does not resolve the question suggests that you install the latest drivers for the DVD player on the computer.

  • Error message: Windows cannot open this file

Whenever I click one of my contacts in my contacts folder, I get a message that says Windows cannot open this file and gives me the choice to open with another program or search the Internet for a program to open my file of contacts.  Can someone help me with this please?

Right-click on any contact, and then click Open with...  Then select Windows Contacts (it may have been changed to another program) and check the box at the bottom that says always use this program to open this type of file, and then click OK.  If the Windows Contacts is not listed, click Browse and find the main executable file for Windows Contacts add the program then select it and check the button.  To help you find this file, go to the Windows Contacts shortcut in the menu start / all programs and right click on it and find out the location of the target - is where you ought to watch.

If you use windows XP, it is not possible to install Microsoft Gadgets on it. Microsoft Gadgets are optimized for Windows Vista and Windows 7 only.

However, you can use your favorite search engine to download third-party gadgets which can serve the purpose.
