Windows crashes

Hi, I hope that my problem can be solved here.

I have laptop ASUS. My operating system is windows 7. It starts and crashes. And I also tried to start in safe mode, but it didn't work. Start windows and after the windows logo appears and it freezes and blocks the windows. I also tried to insert the windows 7 dvd, but the Setup program starts and before I can do anything, it hangs and then continues the same process. I want the solution to this problem. PLEASE HELP ME

IT IS URGENT.

Remove the hard drive and try to boot the DVD with F8 usually.

Will not really help you gain access to the existing install but will tell at least if it's the hard drive that is grilled or not.

You can also try to remove the battery and hold the power button for at least 1 minute drain the system and try again with the hard drive still in it.

    Portege A200 Windows XP;

Before windows has finished loading a blue screen appears and the machine stops. Prior to that, the machine was intermittenlty off without apparent reason. The last thing I did before this happened has been updated to IE 7. Ran scandisk, but has not fixed anything.

Can start in safe mode but impossible to uninstall IE7 in safe mode. The option selected to load windows last config that worked to option, but windows crashes before the end of loading. Restoration of the system to consider the return to January 08 but still the same problem.

In this case, I would recommend do you a clean installation of OS. As you can see that nothing done. I don't really know what you can try, but I really don't think that you will be able to do anything.

Save all your data important and make the clean OS installation. I know it's quite radical solution but, believe me, one that suits.

  • Windows crash at startup of Skype or installation.

Hello, the drafting of the Austria. I have a big problem, but no member of the German community gives me an answer. The problem is on a laptop of HP, APU AMD E-450 with integrated graphics Radeon HD 6320. I run win7 64 Bit SP1 with all updates you may have. Also the drivers are up to date. Now every time when I install Skype latest version and I will start... Windows crashes.
The screen is biased and Windows freezes. Or it goes into a blue screen MS and Windows starts again. I tried a lot of things: reinstall, uninstall Microsoft fixit, also with CC Cleaner tool. Reinstall again after that. Also uninstall the webcam (it's a youcam) there was also a solution where you can fix the .exe in a /lagacylogin mode, I tried also.
Only Skype began in the mode of Windows security. So I don't know what the problem is. Thanks for help :-)

Restart your computer in Safe Mode with network and then try to start Skype.

  • 10 Windows crashes after installing the BootCamp drivers

I have an iMac (end of 2013). I want to install Windows using Boot Camp 10.

Windows Setup runs smoothly and without errors. Problems begin when I start to install the software of BC. First problem is installing, it stops at the Realtek audio drivers and does not continue. I followed the following steps: boot camp installation hangs at realtek audio stepSearch or ask a question and it worked. Until I rebooted the computer. After installation, Windows does not start and displays either a screen with the sad face or runs the Startup Repair. Startup Repair is unable to do anything, only the Windows reset, it works.

One last thing. I have a Samsung 850 Evo Pro custom-replaced drive. Some time ago I installed Windows on it normally and it worked until I made a few changes to the partitions on the disk. Strangely, without changing the size of partition, Bootcamp, Windows crashed in itself.

What can I do now? Windows can operate normally without driver from Apple? I understand some features will be limited, but as I noticed it works well without driver BC.

  • Windows crashes software when it cannot verify the Publisher * found the problem

    * Found the problem, thank you anyway

I use Windows XP and IE8, and I am trying to allow the installation of ActiveX controls.

I get the following warning of safety and error: "Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the Publisher.

To protect your computer, Windows crashes software when it cannot verify the Publisher. »

I have read a dozen forums and tried all the tips. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I tried going into the tools of IE tab and changing the security options to "allow software to run or install even if the signature is not valid.

I unchecked the boxes to "verify signatures.

I passed the security settings and select: fast for "Unsigned download Active X controls" and: ask the user 'initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as secure..'  and 'activate' to 'run ActiveX controls '.

I even added the IP domain in my zone of confidence and lowered my security level to 'low '.

I also remembered to close and restart IE.

I always get the error message when you try to leave the site to install ActiveX. controls.  FYI the ActiveX is remote viewing of a security camera.

If anyone has any other clues that could help me with this problem I would be very grateful.

  • Windows crashed when switching from Windows 10

    Original title: Windows 10

    This is my story, gang...

A few months ago my Office worked on Windows 7.  Then, the free update of Windows 10 has been offered.  So, I did the upgrade.

After a week or two, I decided that Windows 10 just wasn't for me and opted to return to Windows 7.  I followed the quick screens (to make the transition) and during the process, Windows "crashed" and mucked up throughout the system.  This glitch has left me WITHOUT Windows operating system, be it...

Oh and the kicker is, I had to replace the hard drive (in my desktop Dell) at least twice since I bought it.  There is therefore no way I can reinstall my old Windows 7 (because of problems product keys).  And believe me, I tried.  Having to buy a new copy of Windows is out of the question, at this time.

    Suggestions?  Everyone... ?

    Hello

Do not understand what you mean by PK issues.

    But your relocation options.

The only legal Windows 7 download available is now Microsoft, as Microsoft has stopped DigitalRiver Windows 7 ISO downloads.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery

But Microsoft only provides these downloads for Windows 7 keys to selling product at retail, not preinstalled OEM product keys (Dell, HP, etc.).

As you have licensed preinstalled OEM (Dell, HP, etc.), contact the manufacturer of your computer to order recovery media that they need to provide for a fee, IF they still have them available.

Or you can also borrow the same exact retail edition DVD of Windows 7 and use your product key to reinstall.

    See you soon.

  • Windows crashes when you watch videos

Windows crashes when I look at the videos and it will start working by itself after a while. Help, please

In Windows 7, use Ctrl + Shift + Esc instead of Ctrl + Alt + Delete. It lets you in the Manager of tasks more quickly. Select Task Manager, performance, resource monitor tab and tab memory. What are the numbers for reserved equipment, in use, modification, sleep and free?

Is your Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit? The amount of RAM is installed?

  • I am trying to install another gig of ram on my laptop of HP running under win7 32, but when I install the stick, windows crashes at startup.

First thanks for taking the time to look at my problem. I just bought this machine used and he installed a 7 on good own licensed copy and it works just ok. Could not load too many programs or it is quite slow. More ram can only help so I picked up the ram Kingston correct and all stop, stuck the new concert date in the only opening slot, and windows crashes about 15 seconds. Hard, close and remove the ram and back in buisiness. The old for new works, fine. Any combination that adds more of the original concert hangs the system.

The machine is a HP Pavilion zd7000. HP says it has a max of ram 2048 and a Crucial site scan shows the 1 slot available without support dual channel. It is an Intel Pentium 4 @ 3 .00GHz, speed 2992 without support of the ECC.

So I did a lot of reading on this and went into the bios at startup and the bios indicates the additional concert when it is loaded, but it crashes. I have run the checker with the two sticks installed memory and it shows no problem. I went in first Grade and manually configured virtual memory to 1024-2048. I looked at the box that limits the max memory to 1028 and he did not check for me clear, but I can not change the number to 2048.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hey superman,.

The common feature seems to be the network card.

You can try to disable it, or update the driver for this to see if the problem resolves.

    Hi Shubham,

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I'll certainly try and help you in the matter of fixing.

To help you to propose measures to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. Since when are you facing the issue?

    2. the problem occur only while trying to connect to the internet?

    3. do you have a security program installed on the computer?

    4. are you aware of any changes made to the computer before the show?

Search for the exact error message you get to do this in the Event Viewer:

Event Viewer is a tool that displays detailed information on the events important (for example, programs that don't start as expected or updates are downloaded automatically) on your computer. The event viewer can be useful when troubleshooting problems and errors with Windows and other programs.

You can run a full scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner and check for infections.

Note: there is a risk of data loss if all the files are infected and which can be removed in the cleaning process.

Try the FIXIT and see if it helps.

Hope this helps and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help you.

  • Reinstall after windows crash

Hi, hope you can help again. 8.1 Windows crashed (conflict between the firewall and anti-virus), only solved by a new installation of 8.1 which resulted in all programs being deleted, nothing new here. Reinstalled to 13 items and now you want to restore the catalog. The photos were on a separate, as the backup hard drive. Do I have to transfer all the photos again? Is there an easier way using the restore? I don't want to replace what I have, what restoration seems to be. I have a full backup and 5 incremental backups, which I first?

It's a good thing, I'm retired, as it looks like a busy week!

PS should I upgrade to Windows 10, or it would cause more problems?

John, I understand that you have all your multimedia files on an external drive and your different backups also on an external drive. It doesn't matter if it is on the same drive external or not.

You don't say where was the folder in your catalog, in the office or in an external drive.

Suppose that the catalog was already on an external drive. It should work immediately without any intervention on your part. The only thing to check is that the external drive with the media always has the same drive letter.

If the catalog folder on the default location on the C: drive (which seems to be the case), he lost.

    But...

Since you have incremental backups, the last of them contains a catalog.buc in its folder. It's a copy renamed your catalog at the time of this incremental backup. This gives you a quick way to recover most of your organization on that date.

-Create a folder somewhere (in office or the external drive). Copy the catalog.buc in this new folder. Rename the file to "catalog.pse13db". Start the organizer with a double click on this file. Unfortunately, you may lose your faces or places of marking, but your keywords, captions, categories, notes, albums, batteries and sets version should be there. Remember that move a catalog folder does not change its content, without loss of links.

If you want to restore from the incremental backup to return everything, always start by the last increment and follow the instructions.

You can restore to a new location of main folder if you have enough space. It's way more accurate and safe to pick up everything.

If you choose to restore to the same location, pay attention to the warnings various any crash or skip existing files; In my view, there is a possibility to ignore existing files, but I had the opportunity to test only recently.

About 3 weeks ago I had a problem in which I've updated my driver incorrectly and all my programs Adobe started crashing. I contacted the support of my Driver (NVIDIA) service and they helped me fix it and everything worked fine for about 2 weeks. 3 days after my last use, Adobe began to crash my computer once again, but I had not being updated anything this either since a week ago and there is no new update. I returned to support NVIDIA and that they couldn't help me, it wasn't a problem with their driver, and we even made the same thing as last time to solve the problem, but this time it didn't work, After Effects, stayed open for about 2 minutes before my Windows crashed again.

The Windows error came out as "kernel_security_check_failure", and when I looked it says something in the corrupt program, so I tried to uninstall all Adobe-wise and re - install, still does not.

I'm at the end of my rope; I need these programs and for $75 CAD/month this should very definitely not be the case. Suggestions on how to solve this problem?

  • HP Pavilion dm4: graphics driver Intel & AMD causing Windows Crash

    Hello.

    My laptop is

HP Pavilion dm4-3107tx Beats Edition Entertainment Notebook PC.   I tried to install the graphics drivers from this link:

    http://support.HP.com/ph-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-DM4-3100-beats-Edition-entertainment-not...

but I could not install the graphics card intel. It is said that the cell does not meet the minimum requirements of the graphics driver.

I also tried to install AMD and he did. But every time that I reboot, Windows startup crashes.

I also noticed that results for starting blocked when I recently updated my Windows, including the update for the driver intel which I have not yet installed (because I know that once I did, I do a lot of recovery and repair of the system for the umpteenth time).

And now I feel really stressed out about it because I've been formatted my laptop for the second time, and the last time it was with the release of the pilot intel. I was stuck again started back and I got really tired of him.

I really need help with that.

What I have to install ALL the drivers in the link before installing graphics drivers to ensure that graphics drivers will install?

    Hi @katrinahahaha,

    Thank you for your query.

I understand that you have a problem installing your graphics drivers.  After formatting the drive and installation of the Intel graphics driver, you have a problem starting.  Did you use the Recovery Manager to format and reinstall Windows 7?

You only need to install the driver AMD of the HP driver page because it contains the two pilots.  Please try this process:

    • Uninstall and remove two graphic drivers
    • Restart your laptop
    • Run the HP Support Assistant to help find and install the graphics drivers
    • You can also after the uninstall, remove the driver and restart, download and install just the driver AMD.

    HP Support Assistant

If this problem persists, try removing both drivers and using the Recovery Manager to install the drivers:

Computers HP - using Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 7)

Please let me know the results.
