After the upgrade and updates have been downloaded, installed, and restart the laptop, I was prompted that Windows Defender is disabled. When you try to turn it on, I got the 0x800106ab error Code and told to restart my computer. I restarted 3 times but still can't open Windows Defender to check implementation parameters.
  I see a reference to the defended Windows 0x8001106ab error, but it relates to the issue of McAfee and not Security Essentials.
  Please provide any suggestion (s) that may solve this problem.

  If so, MSE is supposed to close Windows Defender. This is because MSE has its Defender ESOS. 2 defenders is redundant.
