Please, in the future, remove all the verbiage above when you ask for a
issue. It has nothing to do with your question.I can not turn windows Defender, error 0x800106ba
I appreciate sincerely any help for this. You are running Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, Norton or McAfee?
If you run one of those, she didn't have Defender. It's
good, not bad. Not only is there potential conflict, but there is no
reason to have both; essentially, they have something very similar
for the Defender integrated and running both at once will hurt your

Unable to turn on Windows Defender error: 0x800106ba.
Original title: windows defender error.
I get an error of windows defender, 0x800106ba, whatever that means? I am not able to turn on the Defender because of this error...
What other security programs you have running? Many as MSE, Norton, McAfee, AVG, etc., will stop Windows Defender because they have the same functionality, and having two programs running at the same time and make security the same work can lead to conflicts. This is by design and must be accepted by the user. -

Windows Defender error 0x800106ba
Whenever I turn on my computer, a window appears reading:
Failed to initialize: 0x800106ba. A problem caused this program service stop. To start the service, restart your computer or search help and Support to find out how to start a service manually.
However, restarting my computer does * not * solve the problem. And when I tried to install Windows Defender, he said that I couldn't install it because I have Windows Vista and Defender is already included. However, I can't Explorer Defender on my Panel configuration or via any other shortcut. I tried to uninstall Defender in my list of "Programs and features", however, Windows Defender was not yet listed. So, does anyone know how can I do to solve my problem with Windows Defender?
