  It looks like although there is no legacy usb option in your bios something it is always the origin of the problem. You can check to see if there is an update of the bios available for your motherboard that can solve the problem, but it's kind of a long shot. you see the problem with any other USB mass storage device? as you use the MTP or MSC mode on the "rocket"?
