Windows doesn't detect any hardware networking

We have a HP Pavilion desktop computer, model # a6610t, by using the Vista operating system.  We have been connected to the internet wireless for almost 1 year and now everything suddenly that he cannot find wireless networks.  We are able to connect wirelessly to the Internet on other laptops, and I can connect to the internet on the desktop with a cable so I know that this is not the modem or the router.  I have also unplugged the modem and routers - still without success.

We ran a virus scan and no treats have been identified.  The only different thing that we see is that we have updated to Internet Explorer 8.

Any suggestions?

Please try reinstalling the drivers of the Recovery Manager network and also please inform the status of the wireless button. It turns blue or remains orange.

  • After re-installing Vista: error message "Windows doesn't detect any hardware networking".

On another thread Microsoft Answers, I was advised to do an "inplace upgrade" to Vista to solve a problem I had with the opening of Word documents.

I followed the instructions but was unable to do the upgrade in place of Vista.

(The 'Upgrade' option has been blocked during the installation process.  And there is no other choice available "Troubleshooting", even if the directions had mentioned that this could be an option.  There is no workaround solution mentioned about how to proceed where it upgrade when the 'upgrade' option has been blackened.)

So, I did a clean install of Vista - after saving all my files on an external drive, of course.

This fixed the initial problem that I ask.

Now, however, I can't access the internet after you complete this process.  I tried via wireless and services to broadband.

Reads the error message: "Windows doesn't detect any hardware networking."

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.

The computer you are using now if you have an Internet connection with the other > download / save drivers > copy them into Flash Drive > transfer / install on another computer/laptop.

    See you soon.

  • IdeaPad Y500 "Windows doesn't detect any hardware networking".

    Hello

I have problems with my recently purchased Lenovo Ideapad Y500 because it is impossible to connect to the internet. As a first step, the connection worked well and I managed to set up the connection Wireless using an ethernet cable.

The problems started when I installed the F-Secure virus/firewall program - in the middle of the installation process (some time after the installation tool uninstalled MacAfee default program) the laptop became unresponsive. First of all everything except the background color disappeared, then the screen went completely empty and the laptop has not responded to other buttons. I waited for about 20 minutes until what I pressed the button for a few seconds in order to stop the laptop.

The laptop rebooted normally, and the installation of F-Secure program was still underway. However, because the laptop had been closed at halfway, I decided to cancel the installation and re-install the program. I removed the parts installed with Control Panel tools, to realize that the wireless internet from the laptop disappeared.

The laptop detects all connections; the network group says no connection is available. Previously, before the strange white screen problem, the Panel showed several nearby wi - fi networks. When I try to connect via the Network Center and sharing, I get only "Windows does not detect any networking hardware." Connect the ethernet cable (connected to the modem/router) makes no difference.

I managed to solve this problem. For some reason, the pilots of two network components have been updated but did not work, so I did a restore on those, the question of fixing.

    You can try the following:

    1. press Fn + F5 to activate the wireless card (make sure that the current status is set on "ON")

    2. relying on Fn + F5 is unable to turn the wireless status on, make sure that the physical wireless switch is on position ON.

    4. If you still cannot detect wifi networks, open Device Manager (press Windows key + R) and then:

    -Go to the ECS network

-Right click on the wireless adapter and select uninstall

-Right click on network adapters, then select Scan for hardware changes and check for availabel wifi networks

    Hello

Please help me with a problem of annoing with radio.

The story is like this:-J' I bought a laptop with Vista preinstaled... I used only once the wireless and worked very well... after a while I have reinstaled Vista, vista ultimate editing... I used 2 days the wireless and then suddenly found no more... wireless network I have reinstaled vista 2 weeks ago, and now I bought a wireless router and set a network... same problem : "Windows cannot find any wireless network"... with a laptop dell, I found 2 networks (one I created and the other a neighbor with very good signal).

    Collaborative I've tried:

1 http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9602NC0000R01.htm - in the directory toshiba\wlan there are 3 directories: intel, atheros and realtek... following the steps, the only factor that installs is intel one... If I try to navigate to the folder Realtek can't find anything compatible... (the network lan card is realtek, so I guess that the Wlan should be the same... as also indicated in the url)

So please help me with a sollution for my WiFi problem!

    Thank you

    Hi creativu22,

First, you must identify the type of wireless network card before you begin to install all the drivers available. Therefore, you can also search with vendor and device ID.
    Check this box!

If you have installed the driver successfully and your wireless network adapter is listed in the Device Manager, you must check the TCP/IP settings. Maybe you need to use static IP addresses, but it depends on your router.

Try turning off also in Power Options Windows WLAN energy saving features!

  • Pavilion X 2 running as Windows 10 does not detect any WiFi networks

When starting the Tablet this morning, I received a message "not connected - no connection is available. My home network is up, running and accessible by other devices co-located, including the smartphone with which I'm making this post. Troubleshooting of the Internet connection and the network adapter with Windows Network Diagnostics 3.0 gives "no problems found".

    Help? Restore Win 8.1?

Do not take into account. The Tablet has been at the center of an important Windows Update with no noticeable indication (for me). Detection of network resumed work at the end of the update, and this message is sent on the Tablet already affected. Moral: patience.

  • HP Pavilion p6520y (win7) built-in wireless adapter will not detect ANY wireless network.

HP Pavilion p6520y Desktop on Windows 7 Home Premium

Error MESSAGE: "DO NOT CONNECTED - NO CONNECTION IS AVAILABLE" (from the tray icon of wireless with X red network connection).

No changes to the system, in fact, it's brand new. I just want to use my built-in 802.11n Wireless LAN Card to connect to a network including all other PCs (laptops and desktop computers) can see.

I tried a lot of things: toggle, adapter, adapter to uninstall/install, driver update (RT3090), PC restore/recovery, reset the router, change the configuration of the card (e.g., power management), all no. AVAIL.

There is a port of type mini co - ax at the back of the tower for an ANTENNA which came with the PC. However, I think that the internal card could still detect a signal from 20 ft away without antenna. Isn't it?

    PROBLEM SOLVED:

Of course, the last thing I mentioned was the cause. I have set up the office within inches of the wireless router and a signal (albeit low) was detected.

So I guess the fixing of an antenna (which should have with my PC) will improve the signal reception when the office is further away (say 20 ft, or more). already checked radio shack with no luck.

In any case, at least, I know what the problem is. Hope this helps someone in a similar scenario... See you soon...

  • Windows doesn't remember key wifi network

Sudden windows stopped to remember the key WIFI. After sleep, cold start when the adapter still does not work it asks for a key network even if I go there two seconds ago. After the off ramp and then turn on the adapter. I checked the settings of the adapter and it seems to be ok, no powersaving mode, without limits, etc. Furthermore, first I've faced this when I was with Win 7 Enterprise. Now, it's win 8 64 enterprise and the problem persists.

I was having the same problem and discovered the problem. In my case, the problem was not lack of Windows 8, it's Intel. My computer is Intel Centrino WiFi card, and part of the driver package for this installed the Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi connection utility. This utility takes over the management of the credentials of the Windows 8 WiFi, but not their offer for validation - in other words, he tells Windows that it would handle information identification, then said Windows had not them.

I forced the management of the Windows 8 credentials, and it fixed the problem. Intel PROSet guard complain that Windows manages the WiFi card, but because Windows does a better job that Intel I did everything simply ignore this warning.
